Clams, Scallops, Mussels, Calamari, Shrimp & Spinach in a Spicy Red Sauce
Awesome food! Mussels, Bronzing, Truffle Mash Potatoes. Awwh and the Key Lime Pie.
The food was phenomenal, and they really do have “the best damn sour”!
Great find! Food and service were excellent! Don't forget your vaccine card... worth the visit!
They need to update the website with their Covid policy and gratuity policy.
We sat inside (with proof of vaccinations). The waitress was sweet and attentive. We ordered almost everything on the menu and the wait for the food was not too long. We ordered the whole branzino fish, scallops, crab cakes, lobster Mac and cheese, Brussel sprouts and fries! When I say every single plate was AMAZING… that’s me using the lowest description word on the totem pole. It was phenomenal. It was just 2 of us but we shared everything and cleared the plates. The only disappointment that night was that I forgot to take pics. I think Pinefish has the best crab cakes in the city. No exaggeration. The ambiance is so cute and chill. Such a vibe. You need to get in to it!
Didn’t know we had to show proof of vaccination. But either way they seemed a little prejudice in there. Person at the door rudely didn’t hold the door open when he saw that I was coming inside, rather he let it close in my face. Scallops weren’t the best, but my date made the night. He enjoyed all of his food and the waitress was okay. Overall okay experience. Beautiful inside.
Absolutely delicious! Would definitely recommend.
The outdoor tables were very dark. The menu we saw on line was not available, the “restaurant week” menu was more limited. Scallops over Watermelon ceviche (some sliced melon and cilantro, as far as I could tell) didn’t work. The scallops were well prepared, but we’re sitting in cool watermelon juice. Needs rethinking. Seared salmon was “okay.”
Food was very good. Ate outside by choice, it was a beautiful evening. Service was very good
When the reservations were made we were not informed of their vaccinations policy and wasn’t aware that we would have to do outdoor sitting if our entire party wasn’t vaccinated. Good thing I called! Secondly, when we arrived we had a table in the right side of the building were the lighting is horrible so we asked to move. We were told that the table was occupied and this was what was available. Once my husband and my brother in law arrived and asked if we could be moved to a more lighted area we were offered the other table. Food was mediocre, drinks were not mixed well (the martinis) the special drinks were okay. Shots were over priced but outside of the sitting arrangements the service was good.
Service was nonpareil! Server kindly offered menu suggestions when asked; unobtrusively friendly; went out of her way to satisfy diner's eccentric requirement for fresh coffee with dessert. Was proud of her association with Pinefish. Food was excellent value, excellently prepared, and excellently served. It was a great night out and a great dining experience. Even though it was restaurant week, hope we did our part coming back to town and dining out.
Went during restaurant week. The vibe was good and so was the food
Went for Restaurant Week. The food choices for the entrees were good; they even had steak and lobster. The salad was so-so; not really good Casaer salad; needed large crouton and shaved Parmesan cheese. Service was good 👍🏾.
Met up with friends for restaurant week and I'm glad we decided to go. Very quaint place with awesome ambiance and great food. I will definitely return to take my boyfriend on a romantic date night.
Mixed review. The grilled Bronzino was excellent Surf and Turf just fair, the turf was way overcooked. Recommended house white wine was fair at best Deserts were just okay. Happy hour oysters were available which was a big plus. The servers were over tasked somewhat. I would like to return NOT during Restaurant Week
The food was so delicious The beef rib was so tender fell off the bone crazy good
The atmosphere and vibe was amazing, the service and food was exceptional. I am mad at myself that I never been there before!!! Amazing just Amazing!!!
Went during restaurant week. Some of the advertised items were not available. For example, a so-so chocolate cake was substituted for a banana foster cheesecake.
Swordfish was substituted for a scallop dish with lobster risotto. A short rib entree was sold out. However. the food and the service was good.
Walking in the door I felt attacked regarding my Vax status, which I provided proof of and then was asked to prove I was the person to whom the card belonged. Irrespective of the food (which was disappointing) there was a 20% TIP added- there were TWO of us. I found this very problematic. Our server, Christina, was lovely, and probably have gotten more than the amount charged- but I found it Rude and Outrageous to add 20% for a table of TWO.
If its that important, raise your prices, and be honest.
We have been there over 20 times, but will NOT be returning
.....not that it is really important, but, though it was indicated on the reservation, there was No acknowledgement of it being a Birthday dinner- a 65th Birthday
........very disappointing 😞
Drinks were good but a little pricey. Restaurant week menu was good. Really liked my parmesan salmon and hubby liked his food as well. He had a different type of fish.
food was so tasty , i chose this restaurant as a last resort but i was not disappointed at all. the proportion was great , the overall taste and great , would recommend at all
Our first time at this completely fun restaurant!! It was restaurant week so we had a special menu for the night. We had salmon, shrimp and grits, and a very nice bottle of Gruner Veltliner. Really friendly server Christina. We will definitely be going back. We have to try the crab cakes and duck fat french fries. Whee!!
Hospitality & environment fantastic. Celeste amazing personality. Food was overseasoned. A little dissapointed since I expected to be wowed for restaurant week.
Wanted to eat inside but didn't know they were only allowing ppl with the COVID Vaccine Card inside. My steak was prepared the way I desired but they made up. for it.
Food was tasty, atmosphere and wait staff was nice. I wish they allowed the option to eat off the regular menu and not just the Restaurant Week Menu.
The food was outstanding. Party of 4, with all of us ordering something different. Every entree was superb.
I had the short rib and it was very tender. The specialty drink for restaurant week I had was very loaded with sugar due to the juice, I could not drink it. A 20% gratuity was added to bill (guess I missed the fine print on menu). Over all I tried a new place and maybe will return.
The food was NOT good at all. The homemade chocolate cake was dry, sugarless and cold. The Shirley Temple drink I ordered was more ice and soda, the mocktail my daughter ordered tasted like mint and water. The Caesar salad I was served had the end of the lettuce that should have been thrown away in it, and it was brown! Although the salmon was tasty with the spinach cream sauce, I spent the rest of the night and part of the next day experiencing severe intestinal/stomach pain. We were seated first beside a drain pipe with a slanted sidewalk, wobbly chair and table! The whole experience was HORRIBLE!!!
Awesome service and food. I will be back!!
Great Food, Great Vibes!
I would visit again and again!
The atmosphere was really nice I loved the food the owner Leslie is really nice along with the waitress. Would go back again
Everything was great. The shrimp and grits were amazing. The lobster was seasoned so well. The drinks were perfect. No complaints.
Just okay. Food was pretty good. Not in a hurry to return
The food was great out server Lindsay was also great. My wife had the shrimp and grits and I had the surf and turf very good food and the drinks was strong!!
Just bad not worth it parking sucked the food and service weds improvement
The service was friendly and attentive, the ambiance was warm and eclectic (great music from the 70's & 80's), food portions were just right - the Shrimp and Grits was superb!
Restaurant week excellent food, drinks and service
The food was excellent as usual.
A real “Boho” type place with relaxed atmosphere & good music.
Happy Hour Oysters & Bang Bang Shrimp great!
The food is excellent and staff was very friendly and attentive.
service was great! food was very tasty! sat outside due to entire party not being vaccinated the view and ambience was not that good.
Clear the weeds, vines outside!! Wash sidewalk, street of dust. Table seating change!
