   Probably one of the worst experiences I’ve had service and food wise. Server was damn near impossible to get a hold of and I waited 10 minutes to be served. It wasn’t even busy by that time yet. It took 30+ minutes each time I ordered a drink. I watched it sit there at the bar corner forever and no one would run it. The same happened with my friend. We finally got to put an order in but we forgot to order an empanada to start. My friend tried to follow the server (because when would we actually see them next) but we got the manager instead who insisted she would have our server put an order in for us. Never happened. The food was seriously lacking and took forever. I had to send back my dish because I got two hard boiled poached eggs. I asked just for new eggs and that took 15+ minutes. And guess what? The eggs were hard boiled again. I gave up after that. Because the dish itself was just lame. A bed of cauliflower gravy and some sautéed chorizo and sweet potatoes. Nothing else. Other than the hard boiled poached eggs. Total garbage. My friend ordered Togo food when we ordered and we had to remind our server 3 times to ring it in. It came out on a plate, sent it back to be boxed, was missing the sauce. Like holy crap this place does not have it together. I was hungry and royally irritated by the end of 2 hours. Please someone explain how this place is still open. I’m also dumbfounded by the managements lack of awareness of the disaster. I’ll NEVER go to Pineapple Ink Tavern ever again. I’ll never recommend it and would probably go out of my way to tell people to avoid it. I spend 50$ and I honestly wish id just refused to pay because it was that poor of an experience.

   Drinks, atmosphere and appetizers were great. We ordered mojitos, empanadas and brussels for appetizers and they were delicious. However, it took 1.5 hours to get our entrees. We asked about our entrees about 45 min in and the waitress told us the kitchen was backed up due to some kitchen staff going home sick. It must have been quite a day for the restaurant being understaffed as we saw one of the waiters shoot a double at the bar. The food was good but the wait for our entrees was unacceptable and there was really no acknowledgment by staff of how long we had to wait. I consider this more the fault of the management than anyone else- if you are short staffed, wouldn't it be wise to reconsider running at full capacity? Workers are overwhelmed and customers are unhappy about the wait time, so no one is happy. I think we will try here again because the food was great, but the service left a lot to be desired. Hopefully this was just an off night.

   Friendly hostess/manager! Server was just ok, she mumbled and did not describe the pan con bistec well so a couple of us were surprised to receive sandwiches. We did have to ask another server for drink refills twice. The pollo a la plancha was delicious. Cocktails were top notch. Noise was high for conversation in our party. Overall, will come again for drinks and apps.

   Food and service was fantastic! We had to take our entrees to go because we were late to a show at the Miller, but the staff quickly packed it up for us. Our waitress, Kara (sp) was great. We’ll return when we have more time.

   I was so excited to try Pineapple Ink, because I love Cuban food, and the restaurant is so stylish. But I was really let down: the food was unseasoned, and the service was mediocre. We ordered cocktails and an appetizer first thing, and the cocktails didn’t make it to our table until after we asked about them when our main dishes arrived (ordered when the appetizer came out). Overall, it was fair but will not be going back. If I want Cuban, I’ll just wait until the next time I go to Atlanta.

   We were in Augusta in April and ate dinner at Pineapple Inn our last night in town. They have an interesting menu that is Cuban inspired, and the steak and chicken dishes we ordered were very good. The fried planatin side dish was especially unique and tasty. The service was very thoughtful and attentive. What I believe was the owner also came by to check-in. The weather had ben very warm but turned cold and rainy the evening we dined. The restaurant did turn off their air conditioning but were unable to turn off cieling fans going full speed, so the room was very cold-I wore my jacket throughout the meal. The music was quite loud. Also, like many convienience /airport food places, Pineapple Inn uses a QR code for their menu. This just seems cheesy and low brow for what could be a very nice restaurant. Please pay to have some nice menus printed. Overall a good experience, I would go back and recommend PI to others. With acouple tweaks, PI could be a very nice dining experience, not just a bar with food.

    We went for brunch on a Sunday morning and it was delicious. We had the chorizo biscuits and gravy as a starter and I had the Monte Cristo sandwich as my main dish. It was so wonderful. Next time I am in Augusta I will go back.

    Everything was fantastic. Our server was great and Ryan was super friendly. Food was fantastic and my drinks from the bar were spot on. Very fun and unique place. Loved that it wasn’t like all the other places we’ve been to around town.

    Rice and black beans under Churasco was undercooked. Rice was crunchy! Service was horrible and they weren't busy at all. Server standing at the bar talking all night and neither of the other two team members that stopped by our table offered to fill our empty waters or iced teas. Nothing was "really" good everything was mediocre, including Ropa Vieja. Not to mention, I'm sorry, but a Cuban restaurant cannot I our book screw up rice and beans.... I don't like leaving negative reviews, but we won't be back.

    Pineapple Ink is my favorite restaurant in Augusta, both before and after the decor and menu change!! The Brussels sprouts are just freaking amazing! I must have them every time I go there. When people ask me where to eat when they visit Augusta, PI is always at the top of the list. Love love love!!

    The food was amazing and delicious! We loved the ambience with salsa and merengue playing in the background by DJ Oso city. Our server Kara and the manager were very attentive and making sure we enjoyed our time and meal there. The restaurants allure made us feel like we were back home in New York City and Miami instead of in Augusta. Definitely going to be one of our regular restaurants to visit on our own and when family and friends visit.

    This restaurant has some great food. My only complaint is that with shellfish they do not accommodate. The previous owners were so helpful with my allergy. I couldn't eat the empanadas or tostones because they made a shrimp empanada that they cooked in the same fryer. Very frustrating 😕

    We had a great dinner! This is the second time we’ve been back since they renovated, and this time we brought our friends. We weren’t disappointed! Everything we had was delicious. We love the brussels appetizer, and two at our table raved about the smoked old fashioned. I loved the shrimp and grits special. But the service is our favorite part. Fantastic.     Made reservations before a comedy show and did have trouble getting our table. They had a lot of tables taking longer than expected and caused u to wait. We waited over 45 minutes from and had to hurry through dinner. Food and cocktails were fabulous… I just wish we had more time to enjoy it!

    It was great food and great ambiance. The only thing is we ordered the Brussels sprouts but never got them. We realized when we got home so we still paid for it. Oh well, our fault for not looking over the check. Also the appetizers and drinks took forever to come out even though there was maybe 4-5 tables that were waiting on stuff

    Best restaurant/bar to choose for a special occasion! The staff treated me like a princess for my 25th birthday! Also the food and drinks are delicious, you may wanna kiss the chef!! 10/10 Will go again and again!
