Our server was great and the food was delicious!
The food was delicious, it came in a timely manner and the wait staff was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly, it was a wonderful experience I highly recommend it. Lovely place for date night!
This was my first visit to Pineapple Eddies and it will not be the last. Our server, Nathan, was very friendly and super helpful. I liked the artsy décor of the restaurant and the food was outstanding. Nathan brought us a couple of lunch menus to take with us and lunch looks great too. If I had any complaints, I would say that we had the Fine Dining Card which could not be used on the nightly specials and that was a little disappointing. Also, it was pretty chilly in there. I don't expect it to be 75 degrees in there but I don't really like eating with my jacket over my shoulders either. But on the whole, great experience!
We've been here many times, and every time is a wonderful experience. From the hostess, to the wait staff, to the ever-attentive bus staff, we always feel as if we are welcome guests in their home. The food is consistently amazing.
A little high on price for the quality and quantity of food. Probably will not go back.
Was not real busy when we arrived. Enjoyed the dinner and chef came by and talked to us which I thought was a nice personal touch.
Mini muffins were awesome wish we had more
Entire staff were top notch and worked well as a team
We’ve been longing to try Pineapple Eddie’s and are so glad we finally got to. The food was excellent and the service as well.
Food and service were top notch. I don't recommend sitting in the back room anywhere near the alternate entrance /exit during cold weather. We got a blast of cold air every time the door was used and the room did not warm up quickly after that occurred.
The food was amazing! When we come back to Erie, we will be sure to make a reservation here again!
Great service and food. A wonderful place with a big city atmosphere.
As usual we had a great dining experience. Our server, although covering several tables, was attentive and knowledgeable on the menu and food prep. The pork belly was exceptional and is recommended. You won’t go wrong.
My husband and I went there for our date night and I wasn't sure what to expect but it was AMAZING! Nice, quiet restaurant with excellent food (although the red velvet cake was just so-so).
Great food and always good service. I love going there and the food is outstanding
Hush puppies were cold, lipstick on glass and portions very small. Service was good.
Great food! Had the special of the evening, shark. Very tasty. The corn muffins were good. The shrimp appetizer was amazing. They had gluten free options for my MIL. The waitress took a little while at times. It was also a little noisy because it was busy.
Favorite place to eat!! Make reservations every time we are in Erie!!!
We love this restaurant and always make a point to visit when we are in the Erie area. The food is wonderful and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. We also really enjoy the Caribbean/Southern fusion that their menu consists of. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food, as well.
Fantastic describes the food , staff and the ownership. Best restaurant in Erie hands down !!!!!
Nice restaurant and atmosphere, waitress did take a while and wasn’t very busy
This was a relaxing and delicious experience...the ambiance perfect and the noise level so guests could hear each other...when back in Erie I wiykd definitely go again
This has always been a go to place for out of town guests for work, I would rave about how great the food is and the waiters would always say the motto is "The chef does not want you to leave hungry" well there seems to be a miscommunication there. The last two times the appetizers have been enough for one person to have two pieces, the meal has been a giant plate with hardly a serving, and dessert used to be a giant slice of cake, and now has been made to a child's portion. Smaller sizes are fine, however when you are spending 10 on an appetizer, 20 on an entrée and 10 on dessert, you expect to "leave the restaurant full"
We have lived in New Orleans and were very excited to give Pineapple Eddie’s a try. Wonderful food, spiced with a lighter hand to allow you to taste every note, done to perfection with excellent, knowledgeable, friendly wait staff. Need we say more? We will definitely refer friends and return often.
We have always loved Pineapple Eddies and it was actually my bday . There were several large groups there for a young girl singing that evening that apparently had ordered dinner prior to our small party . We waited 1 1/2 half hours for our dinner and watched another couple actually leave because their food never came out in a timely manner . When my chicken was served it was burnt and greasy which isn’t typical of this restaurant so I was disappointed. When I said something to our server he apologized but never sent a manager over at anytime and we didn’t receive any apologies for waiting so long for dinner . It was disappointing. Although we had this experience I do believe this is a good restaurant that : 1) is short staffed 2) needs to retrain staff on customer service 3) management needs to be involved with customers to ensure that everyone is happy and food is being served! Their food is good but they need someone to manage their floor
Wonderful dining experience! Food was excellent and service was terrific!!
We we're seated quickly, waitress very slow and uninterested. Coffee never refilled. Food ordinary for high prices. Won't return.
Overall a good meal, not great but good. The appetizers were better than the mains, the hush puppies were great as were the pineapple wings. The catfish was middle of the road and my chicken was over cooked and dry. I had a lemon coconut cake that was dried out, possibly a couple of days old.
I think overall they have too many items on the menu and my advice would be to cut the menu in half and have 2 or 3 desserts. The makings of a truly great restaurant are all here.
The restaurant itself needs freshening up, not sure why the walls are painted a dark shade. I loved some of the bright paintings on the wall and I wish they had picked up those colours to make a fresh, bright dining room.
Our server was very friendly but he never offered another drink or coffee.
Second time there and I look forward to returning!! Amazing food and service! A++
I can't say enough good things. Service was excellent, food was great. The daily specials, added to their regular menu, made decisions difficult. Nice drink menu with reasonable prices...lots of "wine by the glass" choices.
The bouillabaisse special was as good as it gets and the calamari appetizer was perfectly done.
We are from Pittsburgh and it was my birthday so we wanted to try something different. The atmosphere was nice but our waitress wasn't as attentive as I thought she should be. I asked her for more salad dressing and she only brought my husband salad dressing and I asked for butter for my waffles and butter for my husbands potatoes. She only brought a small amount to my husband, none for me. My drink was too strong and the desserts looked old and dry. My chicken tasted like it was fried in old grease.
Great food very professional servers . We will go back soon.
The specials are always the best part! The drinks and appetizers were fantastic, and the dessert case is beautiful. They accommodated us adding an extra person to our party. The staff is friendly, the food takes a little longer to prepare but it definitely worth the wait!
This restaurant is a strange mix of budget and fine dining. They put out white tablecloths but then serve your condiments in disposable plastic cups you'd find at a fast food restaurant. They serve you a nice house salad but the tomatoes on the salad are sliced as if they were meant for a burger.
We had another enjoyable meal at Pineapple Eddie’s! The service was great, drinks were tasty and the whole meal was incredible and delicious. Never disappoints!
Always an enjoyable meal
We sat downstairs and had a wonderful experience, the food was great as the service too.
Great service and excellent food
Great atmosphere, great service, wait staff very knowledgeable, the food was ok, overpriced for a stuffed pork chop that didn't have any stuffing...very dry and tough. The cocktails were also very good. Would recommend for a romantic evening but don't go off of the menu.
Wonderful food and service. Just a little chilly by the window
The food was excellent, we liked the table spacing. The service was good and the staff was professional.
Every employee I interacted with was great, from the host to the bartender to the chef. I enjoyed the griyo with rice and beans, seasonal veggies and an additional side of Mac n cheese. I also got the hush puppies which were perfect and the chocolate cake with banana frosting.
