   We traveled from Virginia and someone recommended this spot to us for date night. Although the open mic night was a nice experience, we enjoyed all of the artists, the food left much to be desired. We travel all over and I’ve never been so disappointed in Jamaican cuisine in my life. I hope they can make some adjustments to the food because it could be a really nice spot. My dad had curry chicken. My husband ordered 4 beef patties and they were dry. The server told us they were overcooked and we could get something else. I told my husband to get the curry goat, which looked and smelled like dog food. It was not palatable at all. And the food was expensive! I don’t mind paying top dollar for good food but this was a rip off. So disappointing.

   Pimento Kitchen in Minneapolis is a must-try! I had the chicken curry, and the spice level was just right—full of flavor with the perfect kick. Loved the reggae music playing in the next room, which created a great atmosphere. It was my first visit, thanks to a friend's recommendation, and it won’t be my last. If you’re looking for authentic Jamaican food and great vibes, this is the spot!    We waited 50 minutes for our food. The wings were overcooked- not crispy.

   A reservation was not needed. Half the restaurant was not open. The food was good, but as a visitor to Minneapolis I probably wouldn’t spend a night visiting to come here again.

   Was expecting more, counter service with foam trays and plastic silverware. Food was “ok” nothing to write home about. Didn’t care for the rice. Rum bar was not open. Not the cleanest of places.

   The place is pretty laid-back that I don't think reservation was necessary. They looked short-staffed when we got there, so the service was on a slower side, but our server was nice & friendly and took good care of us. They have two separate spaces: the main space for dine-in with bar, and the other that looked primarily for take-out (the take-out space also have some tables/chairs). The main space can get pretty loud when live music is played. If you want to have a conversation with your friends without having to yell at each other, eating in the take-out space might be better. I loved their food; I'd definitely go back and try some other dishes.

   Not sure a rerservation is required. This place is counter top self service, self busing of tables. Food was delicious, but do not expect anybody to wait on you!

   It would be good if Open Table or the Pimento Website stated whe and whether not reservations were needed. Open table made it look like everything was booked for hrs. either side of noon.

    We made reservations, but didn't need to. It was unclear which door to go in. We opted for the Rum Bar where they serve you over the fast-casual, order-at-the-counter side. Food and service were great. Music felt deafening for a 6:30pm dinner. DJ was in full swing like one would have at a night club. Great music! But made it hard to chat over dinner.
