   Pigeons will be closing this week and it’s a shame. The food was excellent, the cocktails and wine were excellent and it would have been a must-see spot for people living and visiting in Portland.

   Reminded me of a Parisian bistro from San Antonio of all places, La Frite. Very simple menu, small French glasses for water, amazing wine selection and cocktails. The restaurant shares space with an amazing wine store my wife and I frequent that never disappoints, so make sure to take leverage their knowledge and choose a wine. I have a nice chilled red that was perfect afternoon drink. We ordered the mussels, burger and pickled vegtable appetizer, all great. I can't wait to stop in again for the Nicoise Salad and steak frites.

   limited menu eand early hours, but the mussels and fries were delicious; also candles for dessert was a treat!!

   Great food! Service was quick and staff were kind. Restaurant itself was bit on the loud side, but not so egregious that it was overwhelming. Overall would visit again- and probably will.

   OMG THE BURGER. THE MUSSELS. Obvi the WINE. This is still my most favorite spot in all of Portland. Sorry the photo of the burger didn’t make it to this review, the app won’t let me add it….soooooo you just need to go order it and devour its sexy juicy goodness. Trust.

    Great experience here. Thoughtful and different food options. Don’t miss the burger. Very surprised by the cocktails, amazing, bright, expressive, some time went into those selections, try them all:) Good wine list, but be sure not to miss the bottle shop before leaving.
