    My 5 stars says it all. The roast beef and Yorkshire pudding was super as good as you would get in Yorkshire. The Yorkshire pudding was big and,ight with a crispy outside and beef was sirloin and tender. The service was very good and as always very friendly. This is one of our favourite places to have Sunday Lunch. The Plantagenet Wine is also a favourite and Kilkenny Beer off the tap . See you in a week or two. Roger.

    Great welcome as always, table ready 20min early. Waitress let us know a big table 30 x pers due in 10 and suggested we get our order in first, thanks that was a great idea. Bar staff fast and friendly, just a great vibe and felt welcome as soon as we arrived until we finished. Thanks team, great work!

    I am from Frankston area so I am not to sure whether the food quality is fantastic like this every where in the Olinda area, but the food is some of the best I have ever had. Friendly staff, great atmosphere and would recommend ten times over

    Food was inconsistent and disappointing. Slow cooked pork had not been slow cooked enough. Sauce was watery. Meat in steak pie was dry and lacked flavour. Quite a different experience form a previous visit.

    Easy to enjoy the experience. The food is first class and enjoyable to the last bite. The staff are more than happy to attend to the needs of it's customers. I may only come here 5 or 6 times a year but the enjoyment is always the same.

    The ambience of the restaurant was inviting and cosy. Great choice of beers available. Food arrived quickly and was very tasty. The only downside was the noise level but wasn't a real issue.

    Service was good, cheap Aldi tomato sauce bottle on table not a good look, 3 jalapeño on the sour cream with the Mexican parma is a bit stingy, parma was very oily, i probably won’t be back again, parking was also a hassle as not well lit at night and not enough parking spots

    Very cosy place for lunch on a cold and misty Saturday. All the meals we ordered had an interesting twist, wide choice of drinks including pale ale at ten dollars a pint and great service despite the place being fully booked, will definitely visit again.

    As always Pig and Whistle Sunday Lunch was superb. It is far and away our favourite place for lunch on a Sunday. The roast beef and Yorkshire pudding were as good as you would get in any 5 star hotel and the price is very affordable especially as we are pensioners. Service is always great even though the place was extremely busy. For a great Sunday lunch try the Pig and Whistle, you won’t regret it. Roger.
