Pietro's Pizzeria - Radnor Ratings and Reviews
really good local place. pizza in the name is a mis-nomer - it is not at all a pizza place, they have great pasta dishes, great appetizers and salads. great for a Saturday evening to eat a super meal and watch college football. two large TVs in each of the rooms.
We had a 7:00 reservation on a Friday night. We had to wait about 10 minutes.
We were glad to get a table but when we did it was not completely clean.
Food is pretty good. Service is a bit on the slow side. They are typically quite crowded. It is very noisy.
Between 5 people, we had two split a large pizza with meatballs on top, a calzone, an order of ravioli, and the special gnocchi with short ribs. Everything was delicious. The service was very good and friendly. We had a great time and never felt rushed or neglected.
We've eaten here before but only had the pizzas. Which are excellent. Decided to try the entrees for dinner and it was just alright. We probably would only go back for the pizza. Our biggest complaint was the a/c was blasting and it was ridiculously cold in the restaurant. Everyone around us was noticiceably cold. It made it difficult to enjoy our meal. We asked the waitress to adjust it and she said she'd ask but they most likely wouldn't .
Met a friend for dinner. She had never been here and she loved it. She can't eat gluten so was happy to hear any of the pasta dishes could be made gluten free! Although she ended up ordering Chicken Limone and said it was delicious, very tender and lots of flavor. I love the rigatoni bolognese.
The food was excellent! The pizza was one of the best I have had! Had the meatballs as an app, they were delicious. The service was ok. I thought there could of been more attention paid to our table with the number of people dinning. The server was friendly and pleasant. We would defiantly go back!!
The service was at a bare minimum by our server. It was to the point that I was going to ask if our server was doing alright. If the food was good, I'd go back cause maybe the server was having an off day, but It wasn't good enough to warrant giving this place another shot
The waiter was nice but inexperienced
We were 11 people and each item that came out if the kitchen- including drinks
No one knew who it went to- it was up to us to identify our meal- not professional!
Disruptive to our family
Table was not configured for us - we had to move around ourselves
Amazing food, great service. Beer selection is large with many options. Service was wonderful Our serve definitely knew his stuff also very attentive with refills. Manager walks around and you can tell she cares. Restaurant is clean. would definitely recommend this place to everyone.
Pietro's has a menu with something for everyone. Some of the portions are enough to share or take home. The young staff members are well trained and offer personalized service with a smile. And no one said, " No problem!" Of course, it's your job to offer these services and they do it well.
They were out of the beer our son ordered, and also out of the Chocolate Mousse. It was Fathers' Day, so those must have been popular items. The medium pizzas are the size of large pizzas elsewhere, and the "large" pizzas are "huge". Veal parm was excellent, with crusty "crust".
The calamari was superb, and the mussels were very good. So was the fried mazzarella.
We received e-mailed reminders daily, and a call on Sat or Sunday, fro Open Table.
Reserved a table for 7 which was waiting for us. Unfortunately the inside of the restaurant was FREEZING. We relocated to the outside patio area and enjoyed our pizzas and salads out there. Wish the outside chairs had backs( at the high top tables). Very fast service.
