As you step into the charming brick building, you're greeted by the words "OPEN SESAME," welcoming you into the Home of the Original Sesame Seed Crust Pizza, pioneered by Pietro himself in 1976. Indulge in a dining experience within one of three uniquely distinct atmospheres. Choose from our retro-style front dining room, the exposed brick of the main dining area featuring beautiful artwork, or the serene whimsical outdoor patio adorned with red and white hanging umbrellas, lush palm trees, and vibrant red planters filled with gorgeous plants, and outdoor personal igloos, creating a private party space offering an enchanting experience.

ALWAYS an amazing experience. Every single staff member is friendly, smiling and helpful. Amazing food. Try the fried artichoke hearts and the pear salad as an appetizer. Amazing.

Igloos are burning hot. Staff suggested we not sit out there during the day, which was the purpose for coming. Was otherwise a below average pizzeria.

Hi Matt, We’re sorry to hear your visit didn’t meet expectations. We did recommend against sitting in the igloo as it was 1:30pm on a 90-degree day. Even with AC, the temperature inside can become extremely uncomfortable during those peak heat hours. We have since updated the policy: igloo seating is no longer permitted before 4pm during the summer months, regardless of guest preference. We also had shaded outdoor tables available under our umbrella sky, which offer a much more comfortable daytime option. As for the “below average pizzeria” comment—we respectfully disagree. Pietro’s has been proudly family-run since 1976, serving food with heart and hustle, for generations. One unseasonably hot afternoon doesn’t define the experience we work hard to create for 49 years. Food and server Rachel were great. Lauren the owner comes around to each table and makes you feel welcome and like family.

We had a reservation on the patio in an igloo. What a fabulous experience! The cocktails, our food, and our service was impeccable !! We cannot wait to go back !!
