Pietro's Italian - Walnut
My brothers and cousins in New York know the recipe. Diners at Patsy's, Nick's and Angelo's have enjoyed their pizzas, pastas and salads for years. Here in Philadelphia and New Jersey, you can feast on my Uncle Angelo's secret recipe dishes at our three Pietro's locations: 1714 Walnut Street, 121 South Street in Philadelphia, and Radnor, Pa. I hope that you enjoy our classic style pizzas and pasta specialties "alla familia" for many years to come. Buon appetito

Dined outside recently on a rare gorgeous July day in Philadelphia! Pizza (burrata cheese, pistachio, arugula, mortadella and honey) was excellent; appetizers (fried cauliflower and calamari) also very good. The experience was kind of sullied by a panhandler who interrupted our dinner and became aggressive and hostile when we politely turned down his ask for a meal. The waitstaff did not intervene and ask him to leave. Not the restaurant’s fault per se but unpleasant nonetheless.
My baked ziti was a 1 out of 10. Not very yummy. The Risotto dish 9 out of a 10. The pizza gets a 9. The spaghetti with meatballs gets a 1 from my 7 year old. Meatballs too dry. The Tiramisu gets a 1. It was too wet and not very tasty. The vanilla gelato gets a 7 from by 7 year old. We at in the outdoor dinning which was okay. The server was nice. Felt a little rushed. The appetizers came with the main course.
Delicious food in a cute and romantic setting. The outdoor seating is decorated so cute. You forget and do not notice that the seating is on the busy Walnut St.
That was my second time there and i loved it .. The Peach Bellini was amazing .
Very loud but friendly staff
Pietro's was surprisingly empty when we went making it quieter than usual - the food is food and there is a good selection of small plates. We did not try the pizza this time, but the cauliflower crust pizza was tempting.
Food is always delicious. Love the pizza. Our server Christian was excellent.
Food was good, but service was terrible. Portions were large. Maybe they can't get well-trained staff in this period of recovery from COVID. My beverage was brought in a bottle, no glass. I had to request multiple times to finally get a glass. When 3 entrees were brought out, mine was forgotten- it took requests to have it served, much later. My request for dressing on the side was not followed, suggested by the server, was not followed- it came lightly dressed...with the WRONG DRESSING. Had to request the right dressing. Not sure I would come here again.
Staff and management could not have been more personable or accommodating. Consistently good food.
Very nice, very pleasant!
The short rib pizza was amazing! I highly recommend it. I had an overall great experience!
No AC left before we ordered
It was phenomenal! The service was nothing short of amazing and the food is absolutely delicious. Also, the outdoor seating is so cozy and beautiful. Would definitely recommend!!
The food was delicious; we ordered a pizza and salad. It was extremely busy, which was to be expected.
Amazing food and service, as always. First choice to take my friends who are visiting from out of town.
Food was amazing. Pizza is awesome and many wonderfully created shareable dishes. Calamari were the best I have outside of Italy.
Design of reataurant is great.
The only negative, which is a big one if you are having a business lunch or just trying to have a connersation, is the acoustics are terrible. The noise level makes having any kind of discussion virtually impossible. I was there at lunch when about only half the tables were occupied and my companions abandonded trying to talk about the business for which we were meeting.
Food cold. Server could care less. Out of multiple items.
All was well.
The food is very good. The pizzas are excellent. I would highly recommend the breaded cauliflower or the roasted meat balls as an appetizer. The service was great, gave us more than enough time to order and eat our meal.
The food was fantastic. Best lobster ravioli I
Have ever eaten. Great pizza options. Definitely will be a return diner.
The food was good and the service was professional and attentive, but it was hard to enjoy because of how deafeningly loud the restaurant was. We had to shout to hear one another and ears were ringing when we left. Unfortunately I would not recommend or go back.
Always an amazing time
Great opportunity to visit with my daughter and just catch up on what's going on in her life.
We just arrived in Philadelphia and looked up restaurants for lunch on open table. We chose Pietros because of nearby location to our hotel and that they had outdoor dining so we could bring our dog. The service and Ford were great.
Great food and great service! Highly recommend! Did not necessarily need the reservation- Tuesday evening at 5:30 was not busy.
Ryan was spectacular. Food was amazing. Great atmosphere. Visiting from Los Angeles. Highly recommend this place.
Excellent service! Great place to stop and have lunch or dinner while spending time in Rittenhouse neighborhood :)
Food is very average
Pietro's food is always good and plentiful. My dinner was quite salty but very tasty.
They weren't too busy so the noise level was acceptable, although it can be quite loud at times.
Pietro's is always reliable for a good meal.
Our server was really kind and nice. She helped accommodating our dietary restriction and provided professional service.
It was my first time there . A friend recommended it .. i will be back
Back inside of an old favorite for a late lunch with a friend I hadn't seen live in 17 months. Of course we had a lot to catch up on, and the Pietro's staff was wonderful -- put us away from everyone else and let us sit there for hours over a glass of wine and (delicious) salads. Thanks guys !!!
Exceptional food, tasty Bellini drinks great service.
This was the first time I’ve been able to eat at the restaurant Instead of doing take out. It was a little loud but nothing too bad. My mom said her food was fantastic! One of my favorite Italian places in Philadelphia!
FOOD WAS GREAT , EVERYTHING WAS COOKED PERFECTLY! THANK YOU
Yes, the food was good. I was sad though that I left my to-go box in the parking lot. I wanted to call and see if I could get a new meal. But I didn't. Damn that alfredo was the bomb.
We had a very large party and they were so accommodating!! They even saw how squeezed we were and brought in another table so we could spread out!! They were amazing!! Good food and great service!
Food was excellent and service too.
It’s such a bigger space that I thought it would be. So pretty inside and the service was amazing. We split a pizza and a bottle of wine. Great value.
