Pietro's Italian - Walnut
My brothers and cousins in New York know the recipe. Diners at Patsy's, Nick's and Angelo's have enjoyed their pizzas, pastas and salads for years. Here in Philadelphia and New Jersey, you can feast on my Uncle Angelo's secret recipe dishes at our three Pietro's locations: 1714 Walnut Street and 121 South Street in Philadelphia. I hope that you enjoy our classic style pizzas and pasta specialties "alla familia" for many years to come. Buon appetito
Great time as always
The food was amazing but our waitress was not that great at her job
I had the short ribs over gnocchi. It was absolutely delicious. The gnocchi was seriously the lightest I’ve ever had. The portion was enough to take home leftovers.
Great appetizers and pizza. Nice wine selection. Promptly honored my reservation on an extremely busy night. Great place for Friday pizza.
Everything was delicious with great customer service.
The service and food was great. My friends and I have held several specials occasions here and was pleased with the service each time.
Pietro's is a comfortable neighborhood Italian restaurant with authentic classics and crave-worthy pizzas. Good for a date with my wife, dinner out with my family, or a quick lunch while shopping in Center City Philadelphia. Pietro's rarely disappoints.
Excellent as always! Food and service is always exceptional as we have visited both the Walnut St and Radnor locations.
We are always pleased with the food and the service. It is a good informal restaurant.
Our "go to" restaurant when we are in the city. The food is always reliably good. Great value as well!
Neighborhood gem. Great food, great wait staff. As long as you're okay with an energetic environment, you'll be happy here
The food was so so and not exceptional quality, service was not to par non attentive and in the end I was very disappointed when we asked for a takeaway box our pizza was jammed into a container half it’s size, I wouldn’t go back.
Sad we don't live close to this restaurant. My kind of food.
It was way too noisy. Rushed through our meal to get out quickly.
Poor service. Mediocre food. Won’t go again.
They could do a better job cleaning. There was pasta all over the floor beneath our table and chairs.
I have been to Pietros a lot with my parents. And the food is always good but sometimes the nose level is sometimes noisy depending on when you go but I love their food and my mom likes the cauliflower pizza and I like the pepperoni pizza it’s good for pizza but not for pasta
Beautiful restaurant, great food, best in Philly!
Reliable and consistent no frill Italian food in a convenient location. Our go to for comfort food.
I thought the waiter was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was comfortable and the service was quick. My only issue is that I thought it was overpriced, especially for salads.
Food delicious, atmosphere insane... There was a line outside for hours. I made reservations so got in but still had to wait. Next time I go, it will not be on a weekend. Menu has alot to choose from and their drinks are not watered down. Our waitress was excellent too.
best pizza ever!
As always, the pizza was amazing and the special we had was divine! My only complaint was we weren't able to finish our meal. Didn't want to take leftovers back to the hotel.
Such a nice restaurant! Everything we had was so good - especially the cauliflower appetizer. Highly recommend!
Went to Philly to meet up with a bunch of friends and decided to come here for dinner. The food was very tasty and the food arrived quickly too. The only downside was I guess it was super busy so the service was just ok at best. We kept needing to find and flag someone down to help us (order, water refills, etc). But like I said, it seemed to be a very busy Saturday so not a big deal - especially since we weren't in a rush. I would definitely go back :)
Fairly casual, relaxed spot. Great place for a delicious crowd-pleasing Italian meal. Have had great pasta dishes, appetizers, chicken dishes, eggplant parm. Great portions and they’ll even substitute with lower-carb alternatives including “zoodles” or cauliflower crust.
Wonderful food and great service. The family style salad was very good and the selection of beer and wine is great.
This is our favorite Italian restaurant in Philadelphia! The homemade ravioli with blush sauce is amazing! Topped off with a delicious bottle of Merlot and Tiramisu for dessert...what more could we ask for? Oh, and the table for two in the front window is our favorite spot! In this very seat my husband dropped down on one knee to present me with my 25th anniversary ring...a moment that I will cherish as long as I live! We'll be back!
Pietro's is always a pleasure.
Yesterday was no exception.
Everything we ordered was so delicious. Will definitely go back
Excellent food, service and ambiance. Would recommend this restaurant.
The front staff was not accommodating at all... the service staff was amazingly more accommodating but worried of being scalded for accommodating us. I was meeting the lawyers from another restaurateur family after attending an event in Ritenhouse Square and regardless that were tables available the front staff was not helpful at all...
I love Pietro's! Service was outstanding, food was amazing, drinks were fantastic... I can't say enough about how great this restaurant is.
Wait staff very attentive
Menu very good
Noise level in back way too loud
Food is delicious & service is quick.
Fast service and great food. Pietro's atmosphere is great any time of day.
Fantastic service! Excellent unique pizzas and a great atmosphere. We would definitely visit here again on our next visit to Philadelphia. Even the prices are reasonable.
The food was fine, but not outstanding; some dishes are too salty. Do not let them seat you close to the front door on a cold day- it will be chilly!
Food was great. Our waitress was excellent. Very attentive and pleasant. We’ll be back
