Pietro's Italian - Radnor
Calamari rings & tentacles lightly fried then served with a side of marinara
Beef & veal meatballs, with mozzarella & marinara
Veal medallions sauted with fresh lemon and capers & tossed in a white wine garlic sauce. Served with fettuccine pasta
Great pasta dishes and pizza. Also loved the salads they are perfect to share for appetizers.
The food at Pietro's is excellent. Their bread and hummus pre-meal treat is better than a dessert! I've eaten here more than a few times and have tried a variety of dishes, all great. My daughter thinks it is the best pizza ever, and insists we go here when she's in town (and has asked me to negotiate with Pietro's to get them to open a place where she lives! -- I'm not sure I'm the one to do that!)
That’s what’s up
It is very expensive for a lunch. We each had a salad with approaching and our bill with tip was 60 bucks. Can’t do that every day. But the food is absolutely delicious.
Pietro's serves delicious Italian specialties and pizza in pleasant surroundings, with competent, friendly service. Great for business lunch in the Radnor area.
We had a great dinner! Good and service were excellent.
Great food, good service.
Great service ambience, food & value for the price!
Business lunch. ordered from the lunch menu. Food and service were good. Would be great to try it for dinner.
Good, hearty Italian fare; so-so service (server not knowledgeable about a fairly large beer list); and extremely noisy (needs lots more baffling, considering all the hard surfaces in main dining area and the propensity of family dining.
We were there for lunch with our daughter & a granddaughter. The food was excellent! We each had a different entree & everyone was happy. The bread also was excellent.
The prices are pretty hefty for lunch , but the portions were a very nice size.
We had a wonderful waitress too, which made the lunch extra special.
We will go back again but probably not for lunch. Probably for dinner.
Very good food and service..desserts were delicious as well. Will definitely be going back
Used to be a great place. Not after last night. Awful service. Awful food.
The food was good, the ambiance is cold. Servers could have been better and more attentive -- we had to keep looking for them. It would be nice to have oil and spice with the bread (bread was delicious) along with the white bean hummus -- that was very plain.
The food was excellent and very nutritious. Loved it.
Outstanding service and food!
Everything was very good. Very friendly. Good service. Food was well above average for a chain. The only item was the noise level. All hard surfaces tend to create a very high "din" level. Especially sotting close to wait station.
But overall..i would go back, yes.
it's a solid go-to: good for families, an also nice enough menu and service enough for a friends night out.
They are the one restaurant ever that is actually decreasing their vegan options. It's so bizarre. We also waited for close to 40 minutes for our table to be ready.
When we asked where the vegan meat was, our waitress laughed and said "she never heard that before." I felt like I was in the twilight zone. Vegan is pretty mainstream...
The pizza was good, but again, their decreasing their offering is odd.
Very good food, it was unusually busy and a bit hectic but overall good value, food and service.
I like their food and I am Gluten free. I like their GF pizza. This time I ordered gluten free pasta and there were several pieces of regular linguine mixed in with my GF pasta I assume that can only mean they do not use clean water to make GF pasta dishes so be aware.
It was a Sunday shortly after 1:00, at first no one else in the dining area, then two families, so it was quiet. The service was excellent. As usual, the food was superb. It would be grand if Pietro's marketed and sold at retail the hummus they give with the pre-meal bread. It is by far the best. The pizza is great, the penne pasta dish just as wonderful, and the gelato desserts also excellent. There was more than enough food so we took home what we didn't eat. Great place for lunch and I've been there for dinner in previous months/years. So glad it's close by.
Service was great, food was great, and the waitress was friendly and courteous.
Kayla was our server and did an outstanding job.
We ordered a pizza Valentino and the crust was hopelessly soggy. Usually the crust is crisp.
The eggplant parmigiana was delicious.
The salad was fresh and very good.
We had a lovely experience. We started off with the shared Mediterranean salad which was very tasty and a charitable portion for two people. I thoroughly enjoyed my Penne Ala Vodka and my wife enjoyed her meatballs with a zucchini spaghetti substitution. A great cannoli dessert, good wine and beer selection and great service. Can't wait to go back.
We went for lunch , the pizzas are really good and the entrees can easily feed two in some cases . The mussels were a good start and the chicken limone was well received
Love this place but this is the second time they our pizza was ice cold.
Very nice place. Atmosphere is pleasant and good place for a meeting. Food was excellent and portions are large. Might be a little pricey for lunch, but I ate the rest of my meal for dinner.
The salmon fettuccini was good, but a little greasy.
My husband and I went for dinner, just randomly. It was really good! We had no expectations and were very pleasantly surprised. The fried calamari were fresh and barely battered (my preference). The main courses were very good. The pizzas looked delicious. I would happily go back!
Food was really good. Love that they offer zucchini noodles as an alt to pasta as well as non-traditional pizza crusts (cauliflower and rice).
Great food and great service! Best pizza around and the waitress was friendly and efficient!
Kind of mixed. Basic Italian no frills or pretense of serious cooking. Eggplant was too rubbery to eat, red sauce was acidic. Pizza was billed as specialty but it was just OK with poor balance of sauce vs cheese. Salads were good. One in our party had a food allergy which the kitchen could not accommodate. Service was friendly and reasonably prompt. A step up from Pizza Hut but not a very big step. Really no compelling reason either to hate it or to return.
Our waitress was really weak. She was overwhelmed and forgot orders etc. The food and wine were good! I would go back again but maybe eat at the bar.
Was a really nice family dinner! Food was really yummy.
Pizza was delicious- best in the area! Sauce is amazing!
We love pietros! The sangria pitchers are amazing even though they don’t pour very well. The mussels and roasted cauliflower and pizza with cauliflower crust are some of our favorites! Loud enough for kids. Kitchens portions are a little small if you little one is a good eater!
