Pietro Cucina Italiana
Excellent evening for outdoor dining. Staff was great and the food was perfect
We’ve passed this restaurant forever and have wanted to try. Glad we did. Very crowded which is a great sign of good food and service.
We had outdoor dining which was great. No rush with service which was greatly appreciated.
I was in a mood for steak and ordered the NY Strip. Asked for med-rare and got med-well. Wasn’t happy but it was still delicious. Server provided us with a complimentary after dinner drink which was greatly appreciated.
Everyone else ordered Italian and their food was delicious. We will come again. When driving by and see the lights, come in for a great meal.
Great food ; sat inside was a bit loud
Pietro wasn’t there that night and it was truly evident. I’ll leave it at that.
Always a great experience!
Outstanding food and fabulous service. White tablecloths and outdoor patio seating as well. The best bronzino around. The eggplant appetizer is also my favorite.
My wife and I had dinner with another couple. As we waited for other couple it took a while to be asked for a cocktail. Other couple arrived and put in drink order. We toasted to memorial day weekend and the waiter just basically came over and said what can I get you. My wife and I ordered the Rabbit cacciatore special. It looked delicious but it tasted like the salt shakers fell into the pan. It was literally so salty that my wife snd I could’t finish it. We told the waiter but nothing was done with check or deserts or free round of drinks.......nothing. Since rabbit is not readily available and common I question the freshness of it since it was so heavily salted. I had a stomach issue at restaurant and all through night into morning.
We both loved our meals and the service. The conversation noise level made it difficult to hear each other.
Always fantastic. Best restaurant on long Island. Pietro is always warm, welcoming and attentive. His personal touch is always present. And his wine pucks are top notch.
We booked a table for 930. Kitchen closes at 9.
Was closed!!! Drove all the way there for NOTHING
Reserved outside and was not outside. Totally ignored by bus service did not bring bread extra utensils etc
Made reservations on a Saturday night 5 minutes before I arrived . We were seated at a table which was situated in the corner alone , enjoyed the seclusion out to eat with my wife . Waitress took our order promptly and was very nice . Drinks came out right away , with main course to follow . The whole chicken was delicious but undercooked and bloody on some pieces . The lamb shank was cooked to perfection . No dessert tonight , will be back , good neighborhood restaurant.
Pietros is a “go to” for us. The food is outstanding, and the service and ambiance are great. I would recommend Pietros to anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine.
Food was delicious! Service was accommodating. Great selection and ambiance.
Can’t wait to go again.
We got there at 710 for a 7pm reservation. We were seated at 720. We ordered drinks. It took 25 min. We ordered dinner. By 9pm we still didn’t have our food. So we left. The place was a madhouse. Shortage of help. It was a miserable experience. Would never go back
The food, atmosphere, and service were all excellent! The appetizers of burrata with prosciutto and carpaccio were gorgeous, delicious and generous! The stuffed pork chop was amazing! Pasta with shrimp in pesto sauce was so good and so much we enjoyed it for lunch the next day! So happy to have made it here during restaurant week!
Favorite is the appetizer. I ordered Montauk swordfish but it is not as good as what I expected. My friend ordered pork chop which is very tasty.
Food was presented well, just not seasoned at all, everything was bland. Even desert had no sweet taste with the brownie/ ice cream.
Service was quite good but inside is a confined and one load table make it hard to have any conversation.
We chose Pietro Cucina for a birthday celebration, and we needed a restaurant that would accommodate and honor an outdoor reservation, which they did. We were warmly greeted by Pietro, and shown to a table with heaters. The waiter could not have been nicer. The food was outstanding and truly homemade. The only downside was that the restaurant was quite busy (Saturday night), so the food came out very slowly. Overall, it was a lovely dining experience and we will surely be return patrons.
aside from having a celebratory dinner party next to us they were very loud and enjoying themselves, however we were sitting outside where the acoustics were not great, we enjoyed the food and staff
Food was good; typically is but service is never consistently good.
Food good, service good... didnt blow me away for the price of my meal
Great food and an overall wonderful experience.
Owner was very accommodating. Service was extremely slow. Too many guests in the restaurant for the number of servers. Food was excellent.
Everything was great, the only minor complaint I had was the Ribeye steak special was tough. All other food ordered was superb! Staff was great too!
The food was amazing!!! Every bite was delish. Service was off. They seemed too busy for the amount of staff. Took a lot of time in between orders & getting drinks or food. They seemed very disorganized. Wasn't impressed with the ambiance/decor at all. I expected nicer than outdoor grass carpet & metal uncomfortable tables in the enclosed outside section.
Again, the food was unforgettable. The drinks were good as well. I'd go again, but not a Fri/ Sat night. Too much crowd for them to handle.
What a wonderful night! Food was delicious....waitress was great!
We have made Pietro a regular place to dine. The food is well prepared and delicious.
The food was absolutely amazing and authentic. The service was great too. Can’t wait to go back.
Great night out. Food was superb service equally good. The annex where we sat was very comfortable. All in all an excellent evening
Beautiful spring Sunday complete with dinner at Pietro!! Our server, Steven was absolutely fantastic! We had tried both of his recommendations, the appetizer scallop special and the veal ziti pasta special and were blown away. We also had the red wine reduction marinated pears and ricotta appetizer and have to say it was perfect for a spring day. Pro tip: Spread the pears and ricotta on the warm crispy bread they provide you in the beginning of the meal! Everything was fantastic thank you for a fantastic Sunday evening ❤️
The food is just amazing! The staff is right in and the owner is so personable
One of our favorite restaurants. !
The patio and outdoor space are so nice!
Food was delicious! Wait staff did not come by after we received a meal to see if we needed more drinks, salt… Cheese for our pasta etc. Sitting outside it was very loud with all the cars revving their engines going by. Overall we will go back but would sit inside
Place got very crowded and do not sit near kitchen too much traffic,
Best authentic Italian food - fine Italian cuisine. Like dining in Rome or Florence.
Wonderful place. Excellent food.
Food was excellent as usual.
