We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Loved the mussels, breaded artichokes & stuffed zuchini flowers. The pizza was perfect, just like the ones in Italy.
Will definitely return!

I love going to Piero's Pizzavino every time I am in Palm Desert. It's become a tradition to dine there during our annual shopping trip on the El Paseo. The brussel sprouts are divine (I hold the sauce) and the pizza and salads are great.

Here is my one beef: the minestrone is a watery broth with vegetables... no beans, no pasta. Also, we were offered NO bread with the soup. I hope they think about changing their minestrone recipe and make it a more traditional vs a watery-vegetable soup. And I hope they will serve bread with it. We got so busy that we forgot to ask.

Staff was very attentive and we felt like valued customers. We will return again.

Gluten free Italian is tough to find in a restaurant, especially a gluten free option that tastes good. The pizza here was excellent! Perfectly thin crust with a good taste, great sauce, and plenty of cheese. A perfect Margherita!

It was my husband's birthday. The two of us for dinner inside. He talked for 3 days about how much he enjoyed the dinner. Try the 'Italian Ice Tea'. A must for our next time is the Zucchini Blossum appetizer. Delish. Our main course was fresh and perfectly prepared.
Wish I remember our waitress' name. So sweet and excellent service.

Sometimes you just feel like pizza and this place does not disappoint! Fried calamari was delicious as was the salad and the tiramisu was a perfect end to a perfect meal. We had the margarita with extra garlic and it was perfect. Oh and it was 1/2 price off bottle of wine which was a bonus. Highly recommend

Upon being seated, we were checking the menu and was not offered the evening specials, so we missed out on some scallop dish.
My wife had the eggplant rollatini and the asparagus tancetti, while I had the boneless short ribs which were a bit on the dry side.
Service was very good.

We were visiting Palm Desert looking for a home. After dining at Thai Smile one evening ,we noticed how busy Pizza Vino was and decided to try it on our last night of vacation. It was a wonderful experience, and I can honestly say it is the best food we had in Palm Desert. The menu was very unusual in many ways, but it was also traditional as well. We ordered the roasted parmesan artichokes, Tuscan wedge salad, and a margherita pizza. All was fresh, hot, and perfectly cooked. My husband also had the cannolis and said they were delicious. This place will be our first stop when we return to Palm Desert.

A good place to grab Italian in Palm Desert. Nothing spectacular and nothing horrible. A solid night out but definitely a little overpriced given the ambiance and food.

This restaurant was excellent in every way. The food and drinks were delicious and the location was easy to find. Don't forget the tiramisu - it was amazing. We were visiting from out of town and were so glad to have found this restaurant - made our visit to Palm Desert even more enjoyable. Our server was particularly outstanding - he had a terrific smile, had fun joking with us, ensured our drinks were topped off and was very pleasant - thank you so much, Victor!

We eat fairly regularly at Pizzavino. This summer experience was extremely dissappointing. We do not expect goumet italian when we go there but the lasagna and other dishes incl the thin crust pizza have always been good to very good. However, at least my dishes at this visit, both of which i have not had before were mediocre at best. The brushetta was extremely bitter due to an excess of raw garlic. The shrimp and lobster ravioli was terrible: the filling had the considtency of firm sour cream and a fishy taste but it would be impossible to know whether shrimp or lobster were used in tha filling. Then the ravioli, which were a bit over cooked were drowned in some sort of orange sauce which also tasted fishy. I hope this is summer lack of focus in a resort restaurant (actuallt i hope it was just a horrid night in the kitchen).

I've been to Piero's several times in the past. Their pizza is simply excellent. The chicken piccata was also very much on point. The "Miss" was definitely the fried zucchini blossoms (or was it squash blossoms?) appetizer. It was actually soggy and lukewarm, so it obviously sat around for a little bit before being served. We should've sent it back but I kept thinking maybe it was just one but none of them were crispy. Disappointing. Good thing the entrees made up for it.

My husband had chicken parmigiana with garlic mashed potatoes & spinach. He cleaned his plate. I had a red sauce pizza with meatballs & it was delicious. We added wine named Uneducated Guess suggested by server & it was perfect! Service was excellent. Attentive, but unobtrusive!
