First class food prepared perfectly. It’s why I’ve gone back. Yet, the lead waiter’s service was so slow to the point of distracting us from our good time. I had to walk to the bar for a glass of wine because he was distracted elsewhere. And yes, the rest of the waitstaff tried to help our table but we got tired of waiting. I had even emailed beforehand that it was our wedding weekend dinner, so please look after us. This is the 3rd time in a row of challenges with slow service and I’m done. There are too many other great meal options in Las Vegas.
Very disappointing. Waiter was arrogant and did not respond appropriately to my concerns about the salty polenta nor the mushy eggplant parmigiana. He kept offering free dessert, which I wouldn’t eat otherwise. After that an assistant finished taking care of us. I would not suggest to someone to go to this restaurant.
We have dined here every time we come to Vegas in the last 20years. The Osso Bucco is their signature dish. An extensive wine list at all $. Ambiance of old LV , rat pack, UNLV. Great value for your money.
It took 20 minutes to be seated for our reservation. We sat at our booth and it took close to 10 minutes to even be acknowledged, we also did not have menus. A guy brought us water and bread and did not say a word to us or look at us. In the staffs defense they seem VERY busy and overworked. I felt bad for all of them. Because of this it did not have a nice relaxing, high end restaurant feel. We also sat in a booth close to the kitchen so staff were running by us every 15 seconds. Being in the restaurant for 1 hr & 30 minutes we only received our appetizer. The food was pretty good. My husband really liked his veal but we most likely won't be going again.
I always enjoyed this restaurant on business trips twice a year over the past 20 years. Our evening, it was very busy, a Sunday night, my osso bucco was over cooked and my wife’s veal chop was so fatty, she couldn’t eat it. The waiter was horrified and took it off the bill but it was too late to eat after this. Very disappointing.
Very good Veal Parmesan and Eggplant Parmesan. Stone Crab was also very good.
Food and service were excellent! We will be back for sure! Rodney and Ian did a great job.
Amazing experience every single time. I would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you, Piero’s.
Service and food were impeccable as always. Valentine’s Day, so it was full and busy, so noise level a little higher than usual. Piero’s never disappoints.
Everything was fabulous! Go and go often. Best Italian we’ve had in LV.
Excellent food and service! Expensive but worth it.
Wonderful and the food was fantastic!
Always a favorite!! We did have a wait for our table even with our reservation and arriving a bit early. Food was good except the change in the clams was not as good as the previous recipe.
Awesome place, go every year on last nite of WOC week!
We have been to Piero's more than a few times and consider it our go to place for entertaining guest or intimate dinners for two. The cuisine is fabulous, the wine list impeccable, the bar impressive and the ambiance is conducive to our needs. This trip offered most of the above. Piero's was hosting a celebratory dinner and boy was it packed and noisy. There was no chance of a quiet, intimate dinner but the wait staff and chefs were on the ball as usual. Our dinner for two was salvaged by Jason and his back up crew. Do not be afraid to go off menu and try the special. You won't be disappointed.
Thank you for the kind words. Glad Jason and the rest of our staff were able to help you enjoy the evening despite it being hectic. It is something we continually work on and glad that it shows. We look forward to having you in again soon. Being going to this restaurant for 15 years. 40 minutes into dinner we were asked to move to another table. Insulted by the owner numerous time was told we need to get eating and to speed up and get out. Never knew there was a timetable on dinner. We spent a lot of money and I was there with clients. Never knew 2 hours was the time limit on dinner at a fine restaurant. To the point insulted numerous times by the owner and asked to speed it up. Will never be going back.
Moved your table as we had a private event taking place. Thought it was okay as you had not yet placed your order & were enjoying a bottle of wine. As a regular of our restaurant for 15 yrs our owner thought you understood the colorfulness of his humor. We apologize that it didn't come off as such. Thought you were having a good time & enjoyed your evening as he did not hear any complaints. Wish this was brought to our attention. I’ve been here many times before. This experience wasn’t the usual great food experience. 2 out 4 meals were cold and blah. I felt badly after telling coworkers how wonderful this place was. I’m hoping next time it is back to the usual wonderful experience.
Dinner with business associates.
Great Italian selections
Good wines, lame food.
Good food and service
A delightful dining experience. Never rushed and always perfect.
Food was great. Service was wonderful. Enjoyed my dinner. will go back.
All in all, dining at Piero's was a nice experience. The veal chop parmigiana was quite tasty and better than many but not higher end Italian restaurants to which we have been, and the bucatini bolognese was good but a notch below some of the other high end places. The garbage salad was also good. The food didn't wow us in any way, and for the price point, we expected that. The main dining areas were quite noisy, but fortunately we were put in a room they had not planned on using because there were a number of us waiting beyond our reservation times as the tables were not clearing as fast as the restaurant had hoped. We often had to pour our own wine....not the worst thing...but it goes to attentiveness that one might expect from a higher end place. In summary, we found it better than many Italian restaurants but when comparing just with those with similar price points, it was in the middle of that crowd. It is very popular and worth trying.
Birthday great as always. Will be back
It was really loud and the waiter was unattentive after we received our entrees. Dessert was not offered and we had to ask for our Cheque.
Wonderful evening! The drinks, food and wine list were fantastic. The entire experience was an absolute delight and the service was impeccable. Jason and David were amazing from beginning to end. Every trip to Vegas will include Piero’s from now on. Thank you for an excellent experience!!
Different areas of the restaurant have very different noise levels. Depending on what you wish to experience with your dinner plan accordingly. This will pay huge dividends to your dining experience. Please check what is available before you make your reservation !
Everything was five star but lengthy wait for entries. Service people constantly checked with us for refills or needs but it was quite a wait for our food to arrive. There was seven of us and we all agreed, except for this one issue it was great, pricey, but great. Will still return on other occasional visits.
Noise level is insane. HOWEVER, we had amazing service from Joseph and his team. The food was stellar and we were thrilled to turn them on to Faretti liquor.
A thoroughly enjoyable evening.
This is a repeat for whenever in Las Vegas. Started at the bar where the staff was incredible. The food and service in the restaurant were amazing!
We LOVE PIERO’S !!! Excellent cuisine, superb service and great locals place!!! Highly recommended for that special occasion or business dinner! Fabulous!! * 😋
Great as always
Terrible experience/good food, but don’t bother.
Our experience was terrible and we will not be returning to Piero's. Waiter Joe was professional, but obviously did not know how to manage his team since his back-waiter and busboy were awful. What went wrong? First of all, they rushed us, which is totally unacceptable when you are spending over $300 for a dinner for two! For instance, before we were done with our appetizers, the busboy "dropped off" our salad. PLEASE, let us finish one course before throwing the next course at us! We were two-thirds done with the salad when the busboy (really, where are the waiters?) came by and said dinners were ready and wanted to take away the rest of the salad. What? When we were done with our dinners, just as the busboy walked away to wrap our food, the back-waiter came over with the dessert tray. Hey, can we have a few minutes to digest? The restaurant was busy, but wasn’t packed on Sat, 1/11/2020. Did these people just start in the food and beverage business? Awful!
The final two straws, which resulted in me having a serious talk with Joe about our terrible evening, was that the busboy, who was sloppy and unprofessional, dropped a spoon when collecting our meals to be wrapped to-go. That is not so bad except that when he picked it up, he was going to put it back on my plate with our to-go food. Whaaaat! I told him DO NOT put that spoon on my plate! Finally, the to-go food was wrapped so sloppily that there were remnants of the food on the outside of each container. When we picked up the containers to check it, we had to go wash our hands since we now had creamed spinach and oil on our hands. So careless! Remember, all this for a $300+ dinner. As for the food, the stone crab was good, but expensive at $23 per claw. The Vidalia onion salad was fair at best. Tomatoes were fine as were the hearts of palm; however, the onions were waterlogged and flavorless. The $75 bone-in ribeye and osso buco were good. Summary: Don't bother!
We have been to Piero’s several times in past years while visiting Vegas.
Our Friday night experience was not up to par.
Server bobbled a bottle of wine, spilling down a good amount on our friend’s hand, arm and the table.
Roasted pepper appetizer was skimpy.
We had a guest at the booth next to us that was incredibly loud ( certainly not their fault ) however with several open tables they could have discreetly offered to reseat us in another location.
Our bill came, we were charged the full amount for the Bobbled wine while the tablecloth had the benefit of drinking the last fourth of the bottle, we dined on top of the tablecloth the remainder of the evening.
Mistakes happen.... just thought it should have been handled in the favor of the guest.
As always perfect.... except they have eliminated their signature creamed corn after 30 years... sniff!!
A do not miss every year at CES in January.
Authentic Italian dining in every way.... Food, service and ambiance.
Prices are fair, the food and wine selection are outstanding.
Treat yourself to a great dining experience just minutes away from the hustle and bustle of the Las Vegas strip. You won’t regret it!
I got to say they were out of bread which is our favorite part. So that was the only sad thing
