There was a large group seated at a table near us that was amazingly loud. I can understand having a good time, but the staff didnt try to address it at all.
Off the beaten path this old-world Italian is a great place if you want to get away from the crowded and frenetic casino vibe. The service was excellent and the food was good but I was expecting better based on reviews. They are a little skimpy with the sauce and serve mashed potatoes with entrees rather than pasta which would have been more traditionally Italian. They also serve an excellent creamed corn but also not appropriate with Italian cuisine (my husband and I are both Italian). Dimly lit romantic ambience was nice. A bit pricey.
Good food, however you are really coming her for the service, ambiance…and vintage Vegas charm.
Hands down the best Italian food we have ever had! We loved everything! The wine selection is great! Our waiter “Frenchie” truly made a excellent dinner even better! I’ve honestly never had better service! Crab cakes, garbage salad, veal parmigiana, ziti bolognese, and a chocolate cake that was all to die for. The portions are large, we left with to go boxes...... I was just sad I couldn’t eat more it was so good!!! We will be returning our next trip!!!
This is an old school Italian Place that is across the street from the convention center and I eat here whenever I’m in Vegas. Their veal is ideal, and great soups and salads. I tried their eggplant parm this time, and while tasty it wasn’t as good as some I’ve had and should come with a side of pasta as I assumed it did. But my companions got the veal chop special which they raved about, and the osso buck (my normal go to, and their specialty ... I wasn’t as hungry so decided to pass this time, which was a mistake. Too full for dessert but they have lots and I’ve enjoyed their tiramisu before.
Their Italian food is the best, but we branched out and went for the ribeye this visit... hands down, the best ribeye we’ve ever had, and we eat out a lot at fine restaurants and consider ourselves foodies...Piero’s is not to be missed. We always make Piero’s our first choice when visiting Las Vegas. We love the old school, classic red leather booths, very Italian atmosphere. Service is superb! You won’t be disappointed!
The biggest veal parm (bone in) that I’ve ever seen... and I are the whole damn thing because it was delicious. Only quibble is that I ordered a Jack Daniel’s on the rocks in homage to Sinatra, who was a regular there in his later years. There must have been fifty ice cube slivers in the glass, which watered it down way too much. Frank would’ve had the bartender fired!
Amazing experience. The food was delicious. Will be back when in Vegas.
I’m a regular customer , because the food is excellent . My complaint is with the staff . Once they see you aren’t going to order dessert , their whole mood changes and they are not friendly at all . They almost toss the check on the table and walk away . This is a constant theme there and I’ve been there over 20 times . I just really happen to like the food . It’s a shame that an expensive restaurant like this cannot make the customer feel comfortable and satisfied .
Old School Italian at it's finest, top shelf presentation, service and ingredients. A fine food and dining establishment. You feel like you're in New York or Italy.
Exceptional service. Great ambience. Very pleasant dining experience. Hope to return on our next visit to Vegas.
Very simply: impeccable service and great food and atmosphere
Will be back
Excellent swordfish, fabulous halibut and the “usual” Italian dishes were raved about for days following. Great venue and superior food! Highly recommend!!
We were visiting Las Vegas for my birthday. A friend recommended we try Piero’s for an authentic Italian dinner. I am so glad we went by his recommendation! It was off the main strip and had an ambience of its own. The service is first class, but not intrusive. The food was exceptional, from the salads to the pasta, to the delicious halibut. We had too much dinner to order dessert, however, they looked so tasty! I would definitely go back when in Las Vegas again.
Luv it there it’s my new FAVORITE! We are locals and it’s been a while!!! Nothing compares!
Food was delicious, service great. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening
Excellent Italian restaurant. Bolognese is spectacular as well as the Halibut.
Would highly recommend splitting the Garbage Salad! We loved this restaurant so much that we went back the next night!
This is our second time here and enjoy the atmosphere and quiet that is hard to find in Vegas. They are a must anytime we come to Vegas and definitely a city jewel!
I am a regular customer of Piero's and the food is amazing. What is not so amazing is the attitude of the staff. The waiters, captain and other service staff have no personalities. If you ask them a question they respond like you are speaking to a computer. They seem to get upset if you don't order appetizers or desserts. Maybe the perfect restaurant just doesn't exist, but it would be a nicer experience if the staff were more pleasant.
It’s always good, service is excellent and the ambiance is wonderful
The food was outstanding. The service on the other hand was not. I am not sure if there was a lack of servers the night we were there but service was slow and our waiter did not check in as much as we would have liked.
It is a unique experience I loved that
Very simple the best service and the best food I had in years.
We would never miss a chance to dine at Piero's when we are in Las Vegas. Truly a gem left from the old school glory days of Las Vegas. The food, ambiance, and service are top notch. Truly a special place that you'll come back to again and again.
Food was fantastic, service was top notch. The only reason I gave 4 stars for ambiance is that it was a little too dark (I had a hard time seeing the menu). It wasn't that big a deal though.
We always eat here when we come to Vegas. Food is amazing and service is spectacular. It is quintessential Vegas!
We wanted to love the restaurant but that was not the case as it came highly recommended by a friend. First off we were seated at a table next to the kitchen and behind a large table - so the location was unappealing and the noise from the table in front of us disturbed our dinner. Food wise the plain veal chop was quite good but the blackened rib eye - which was large enough for two with a price tag to match was tasteless. Sorry Piero’s- you missed the mark with us.
Always wonderful and special when we visit Las Vegas
Love this restaurant, old Vegas off the strip . We arrived early and it was so pleasant to be able to have a meal and talk to my family without yelling over loud music and load conversation. Food was great as usual you can always expect to enjoy the food. Service was top notch and very friendly a must if you want to enjoy a bit of old Vegas.
Piero’s is the best old-school Italian restaurant I have ever eaten at in Las Vegas, and I have eaten at most of them. It easily has the best food and ambience and more than easily the best service. Enough said. Try it. You will absolutely adore it!
Food is far too pricey for the quality that the place offered. Nice wine list though. Service was on the slow side. Would not recommend overall.
Piero's is an iconic Italian restaurant off the Strip that never disappoints. We always have it on our list when visiting Las Vegas. The food was superb, the atmosphere authentic and the service impeccable.
Absolutely amazing, old school Vegas, experience! I would recommend to anyone. Food is second to none and Pia Zadora and Sonny Charles are worth visiting.
One of my favorite Vegas evenings!
We were put in a back room alone
Took a long time for the wait staff to acknowledge us
Service was good after that
Food was ok
Much to expensive for quality
Birthday. Everything was amazing definitely a must while in Vegas
Great menu, service, wine list... NY Strip was cooked to perfection, garbage salad could be shared with 3-4 people. Will be there this fall when Zpia Zadora returns!
As always.....food and service excellent! Patrick and team always take great care of us and food choices the best!
Our wait staff was very attentive and the food was wonderful, the halibut was cooked just right and our pasta was great!
It's a must!!
We stop by every single time we are in Vegas!!
The staff have been there for years and really know what they are doing!
