   It was not at all clear just what "dining" experience I made a reservation for. I knew there were several different options at Pier A, but the reservation process did not make it clear just what the reservation was for. As it turned out our "reservation" was for a small, but nice looking "white table cloth " room on the second floor, where the only option was a fixed price Valentines Dinner (this was 2/13). Not at all what we wanted. When we declined that reservation, we were shown to Harrison's Bar also on the second floor. A very nice room, but almost empty. It featured unusual cocktails and a small bar menu. Still not what we had in mind. Finally we made it to the first floor and the Long Bar, just what we were looking for for oysters, wine, etc. Neither of the latter two venues needed or, to my knowledge, took reservations. We ultimately had a good experience, but it took a while to find it.

   One of the best brunches in the city. Though this brunch is only on special occasions, I would hope they make it a regular feature.

   We had a lovely prix fixe dinner on New Year's Eve 2015/16. The restaurant is in lovely refurbished warehouse offices with a spectacular view of the statue of liberty. The wine list is exceptional for being in NYC -- we have high expectations coming from California. The 3 course dinner was expertly prepared and served. Would jump to go back there again.

   we enjoy a very good Christmas Dinner in the Restaurant with a beautfull view. Really appreciate the very friendly personal and a very good food for a acceptable price. We would go again.

   We wanted to try this restaurant thinking it would have a beautiful view and decor. Our reservation was for the day before Christmas Eve. Although it's a historic renovated building, the dining rooms were divided up, dark, and the windows were small. We were surprised that the renovation wouldn't open the place up to maximize the view. The service was very good. The restaurant was empty so this may have been why. Not sure. The food was just ok-not over the top for the price. I ordered the filet mignon but it came overcooked. We thought the place would be decorated more for the holidays but nothing impressive. The bar in the main level had more people than diners in the restaurant. We most likely won't be back and would rather order a filet at The Palm Restaurant next time.

   What a great time our group had! The food was out of the world and prepared perfectly. The service was wonderful and our wait staff did not miss a thing. The ladies truly want to visit again. The view was beautiful. Thank you Thank you Thank you for the great NYC experience.
