We usually love everything about this restaurant but the food was really off tonight. My wasabi crusted tuna had more gristle than I have ever experienced in my life. My father ordered jambalya, which he normally loves, but was very blah. The grouper was only ok tonight. We left feeling disappointed.

A great spot right on the water. It has an extensive menu, so there has to be plenty for all to choose. You won’t be disappointed!

Always a delight! Although usually excellent, I gave the food four stars because my partner did not care for his fish (cod). I, however, thought the fish was delicious. Pier 22 is a staple in our community and we will definitely go back.

Fabulous meal. Crab cakes were delicious, and my non seafood eaters had amazing chicken dishes. Everyone had a nice time and experience! Glad we went, and will go back.

First time eating at Pier 22. What a wonderful experience. Great food, great service and an amazing view of the Manatee River. The grouper sandwich was delicious. The clam chowder was delicious. A terrific dining experience.

We love Pier 22. The only issue is that it can be cold, windy, and uncomfortable for outside seating this time of year. Otherwise, It's a great location and great food.

Went for Thanksgiving rather than cooking, it was fantastic! We didn't get the Thanksgiving dinner but saw a fee plates go by and omg there was so much food on them! We ordered off the Holiday menu and it was delicious as always.

This is the first time that we received only fair service. We had reservations, but the hostess said there was not a table for us and tried to seat us elsewhere. The manager gave us a “canned response” instead of attempting to make it right. That set the mood for the entire evening that should have been special. The server was only fair. We needed to keep asking for refills, plus there seemed to be a communication barrier. I will not have a holiday meal there again.

We are returning Thanksgiving diners, however, this time our food arrived cold or slightly warm. We ate outside and it was chilly but food arrived at the table cold. On a positive note, the sweet potatoes were hot and they give a lot of food.

If you have any device to help you walk/get around, I would say eat inside. Too much navigating to eat outside. That will be our last time outside, I have a walker. With that said, we enjoyed our Thanksgiving dinner.

The service was great and very efficient for a holiday. The food was amazing! We had the turkey dinner and the prime rib and both were excellent. Also, loved the pumpkin pie the key-lime pie.

Thanksgiving meal was tasty, especially the turkey, stuffing and beans. Four vegetables were a lot. Hubby was delighted with his cooked to order steak. He also raved about the peanut butter pie. Pumpkin pie was bland. Loved the Harney’s tea so much that I ordered some for myself. Service was nice.

We come here on Thanksgiving as often as we can. We sit out by the water and it’s lovely. Our server was extremely pleasant. Food was outstanding as usual. My only comment is to have another choice for dessert other than pumpkin pie.
