PIER 22 is Bradenton's historic waterfront destination. For over four decades, our restaurant has been the go-to spot for fine dining, stunning Manatee River views, and a modern and classic menu that will leave a lasting impression. We take pride in our from-scratch approach to cooking and believe that cuisine is an art form that should be shared with our guests.                                                                         I am one of your greatest fans. I bring new customers to your place almost regularly. We have frequent in your restaurant over at times this year. I particularly am fond of the menu that has so many gluten-free options. I never have to worry about what I’m going to order I can decide when I get there because there are many choices.  I brought my husband, on two new guests, we will order the stuff omelettes why they came out cold and very dry. We assumed that because it was Father’s Day that we made up in advance. It was a big disappointment..

                                                                        The girls at the front desk are Gen Z and too worried about talking amongst their selves and looking at there phones to stay focused at the task at hand. Our friends waited 15 minutes up front while we were seated. They finally texted me as the girls never told them we were already seated. They then asked where we were and they told them they could go in and look for us! Asked our waitress for cheese for my flat bread. Finally got it after I was nearly finished with my flat bread after asking a second time. My wife ordered a second beer and got it at the end of our meal.(they did comp the beer) Another waitress brought my beer with a glass and I said I didn’t need it and she made a snide comment saying she was told I wanted it. The food was good but the entire staff needs training and management.

                                                                        Outdoor seating is nice and relaxing. We enjoyed lunch watching the boats go by on the river. The fresh catch was excellent, super fresh fish with an amazing salsa garnish, along with risotto and fresh veggies. And the grouper sandwich is always great.
