   Grouper was great. Halibut was a bit dry. Overall great time.

   Food was very flavorful, and good. Kitchen did not get preparation request right initially and service staff and maitre d' handled it very professionally. Overall very nice place for special occasion or a very nice brunch or dinner out.

   We spent Mother's Day dining outside next to the Manatee River. The ambiance was excellent. Our waitress , Karen, was outstanding. There were four of us and she made sure we had everything we needed when we needed it. The food and drinks were very good and rounded out our excellent experience.

   Sat for 12 minutes before anyone greeted our table while multiple servers and managers were standing there talking. The mothers day buffet did not have quality food to justify the price for their buffet.

   The food was significantly overpriced for the quality. We went to a Mothers Day Brunch, and it was really bad. Most of food was overcooked, underseasoned. Oysters were very overcooked and rubbery, prime rib was overcooked and underseasoned. O let didn’t use real eggs or butter and was tasteless. Sushi was not fresh and the soy sauce was the saltiest I’ve ever encountered - truly couldn’t use it. We had a Bloody Mary that was extremely watery. Bottom line - we will never go back. I cannot recommend this place for anyone!

    The best brunch ever! They were able to seat us inside since it was a light shower but what a view if all of the beautiful boats on the water. Rain or shine we highly recommend Pier 22!
