I have gone to Pier 215 several times since they first opened. My last visit was nowhere near as good as the previous. Service was just so so nothing all that great. The bus boys did a great job. I was never revisited and asked if I wanted anything else to drink. I ordered the sushi plater and never got any miso soup. I made the reservation stating it was for a birthday. There was nothing special nor was I asked if I wanted anything else to order or desert. The check was very quick to come which made me think they just wanted me to leave. Can't say I would come back.

Found this place through an IG influencer. Had much better sushi. Not authentic Japanese. They also try to make you tip on total that includes tax as well 😂 Also, their tasting menu includes some deep fried battered shrimp covered in mayo. Seriously? You’re not some low end Chinese restaurant. Do better.

Highly recommend. We ordered the pier 215 tasting since this was our first time here. Enough for 2 people to share. Miso soup-delicious Ocean salad -dressing was not powerful simple and good Spicy shrimp-reminded me of shrimp walnut. Chef special sushi mix- excellent a good variety. Korean ribs-came with potatoes and carrots was tasty but more like a pot roast style cut meat. Dessert-vanilla ice cream Fried calamari-nice size serving came with 2 sauces. Our waitress was very attentive to our needs. She recommended the tasting dish Next visit we want to try the king crab lobster

We had a date night here, and although it was a bit of a drive from our house. It was quite nice. We enjoyed a few drinks, Sushi appetizers and Shrimp and Risotto was really good. Prices were reasonable and I would recommend to others.

It was over enjoyable. My one complaint is that the menu has deceptive pricing. We ordered the salmon/shrimp w risotto was marked $29. We ordered it for my parents to split. Cause the menu said salmon/shrimp. Not salmon or shrimp. They deliver the plate small piece of salmon to my dad and three shrimp to my mom. We were charge as if they were separate plates. When the menu specifically said salmon/shrimp. Then when I questioned the waitress she insisted that she said it was either or. It was not said to us or stated at any point in our interaction. So it we were charged for two meals. I would have been repeat business but it was a bait and switch. Very disappointing

Delicious, well crafted, and good quality food. The short ribs were flavorful and tender. The king crab legs had a sauce that was enjoyable on its own but complimented the crab meat well. Good drink deals. Definitely worth skipping the fancy resort restaurants as this was flavorful food.

Third time there and the food was of poor quality. Two of us dined and ordered food we usually order. The quality was below average and the dragon roll I ate was very fishy, when it is usually very fresh. Won’t be going back

Reserved through OT. When we arrived, they said they could not locate our reservation from OT but they would seat us ASAP. We waited about 15-20 mins longer to be seated. We were eventually seated & ordered within 5-10 mins of sitting. Within 20 mins, we received one of the items. We waited for over 1 hr for the rest to arrive. Eventually, we got our last item(s) after another 15 mins now making the total time from order to receiving all our food 1:35. The items did not seem like they should have taken this long to make/arrive. Here was our order & when it arrived: (20 mins) Tempura Udon (1 hr & 20 mins) Octopus Carpaccio Japanese Snapper Crudo Yuzu Salmon (1 hr & 25 mins) Lotus Roll (1 hr & 35 mins) Crispy Rice Spicy Tuna Roll All of the food tasted/executed ok w/ the exception of: Crispy Rice Spicy Tuna "Roll". It says roll but is more like a nigiri. The spicy tuna mix was more a "paste" rather than a finely cut poke like I have had at other places. The paste was just ok. The rice portion was not crispy as it sat in a pool of sauce. The Lotus Roll pieces were cut so thin & rolled loose that the fish kept falling out. At some point I ended up leaving my table to talk to the manager on duty because I saw that they cancelled my OT reservation (while I was eating & had JUST gotten our food). I asked them WHY they cancelled my reservation on OT because first they said they could not locate my reservation & now that I'm eating & they show it as cancelled, I will not get my OT points. She said that she did not know that OT gives points. (Not sure why this would matter to them or not, why cancel a reservation already in progress) I told her that is why I booked the reservation through there & I thought they said that they could not see my reservation (as mentioned when I checked in). She went back & marked my reservation as checked in. I had to watch her do it & wait to verify it was corrected on my app. Seemed very inconsistent in messaging.

This place was located in a strip mall right across a Korean bbq. The menu is semi-eclectic with a bit of Italian fusion, but the sushi is excellent. The truffle fries were an odd placement on a sushi menu but I can't have it any other way now. I really liked having truffle fries with my sushi - what a great combo. Will be making our way back whenever we are in town.

We made a reservation a couple of weeks ago because we had such a great experience last year. We were promptly seated and sat at the table for 15 minutes prior to any server acknowledging us. It was my wife’s birthday and she was really excited to eat here but unfortunately we had an experience that will probably make us skip eating here again. The quality of sushi and portions were what we recalled and we enjoyed the food but…..

We had lunch on a weekday. We were impressed with the ambience considering the neighborhood strip mall location. We perused the creative menu but settled on simple sashimi bento and sushi bento for our lunch. Everything was well prepared, fresh, and most importantly very tasty. We are looking forward to returning and trying one of the chefs more creative dishes. Based on the bento we ordered I would trust that the more creative dishes will hit the mark. Service was efficient. Prices were very fair.

Pier 215 is INCREDIBLE! Absolutely loved all our food (miso soup, golden knights roll, crunch roll, japanese lasagna, and the hawaiian roll). It came out so fresh and wonderful. Mitchell, our server, was incredible with his recommendations and really knows the food well. 10/10 experience and can’t wait to come back!

This is one of many visits to this absolute gem. The food is always spectacular, the service is attentive without being intrusive , and the ambiance is amazing, especially if you come in after the sun goes down.
