We went there with our reservations and they had booked so many other reservations that our wait had become an hour and a half long wait. Me and my girlfriend were very hungry after a long day of work and were hoping to get in on time but unfortunately due to the terrible service and bad judgement of how many people will be booking reservations on VALENTINES DAY we had to go home and eat.
Great Experience! 1st time there on Valentines Day which is very busy. Staff was attentive and accommodating and didn’t rush us at all. Food was amazing but no kids menu. We will definitely go back soon!
Food was mediocre and in my opinion did not live up to it’s price.
Awesome experience, the food, the service were all outstanding!!! New Favorite Sushi spot in Vegas
Every Dish exceeded expectations, the Staff is very attentive and polite. The drinks are pleasurable. One of my new favorite places to dine !
Excellent place!! Everything was perfect. Can’t believe this place doesn’t have a line out the door. Recommend the angry lobster roll and pork belly bites. Service, ambiance, clean and well managed.
Amazing food, great service. Will definitely be back.
This place had totally delicious high quality food, awesome hospitality and service, and very fair pricing. I am blown away. My entire family loved every single dish that we ordered. Pier 215....definitely worth it in every aspect. Forget the Strip! This is the place that everyone should try. I promise you won’t be disappointed!
Service was good. We got soup, salad, appetizers, entrees, and desserts.
Udon noodle soup. Seaweed salad. Steak and lobster. Crispy pork belly. Sashimi. Deep fried cheesecake.
We found this place on Open Table and it’s a great find. Oysters are fresh. Appetizers are excellent. My children really enjoyed udon and kimchi fried rice. Will return!
We meet monthly for a Girls' Night Out which was what this occasion was. We try different restaurants. Pier 215 is definitely in our list of return again.
Everything was great except the music was awful - nightclub music that didn’t match the cool vibe of the restaurant.
The great service and creative dishes are what stood out here. Exceeded expectations for a strip mall corner restaurant.
Our waitress was very friendly and extremely attentive; we never had to wait long for drinks, condiments, or clearing of plates. Appetizers were awesome, especially the crispy pork belly. Our sushi rolls were also very well made and flavorful. Highly recommend the spicy tuna over crispy rice as well.
My only gripe was that the nigiri sushi was just mediocre. I ordered the salmon, red snapper, yellowtail, and chu-toro; the presentation was lovely but the taste was just ok. Nothing fishy or dry, just not particularly flavorful. Also found it odd that they did not include wasabi or ginger with the sushi. I guess maybe they were trying to go super authentic/classy and let the sushi stand on its own without any extra garnishes but the sushi was not “wow” enough for that. At least ginger should’ve been provided as a between fish palette cleanser.
That being said, I would certainly visit Pier 215 again. Most of the dishes were great and I can’t wait to try more of what’s offered here. The front of house staff all had excellent attitudes and the service was better than I’ve had in some local fine dining establishments. Kudos to the management here for putting together a great team.
This was an excellent experience, I can’t believe we’ve been driving by it for almost 2 years and never tried it out. The food is fantastic, the service was top notch, it’s definitely on my top 5 list now!
Amberjack Carpaccio was phenomenal!!!
Very nice well kept and clean restaurant. We will be back again soon.
The oysters were old we all got sick and was pretty disappointed
What a great find! Apparently, it's been open for a year or so, but for whatever reason, we just found out about it. So glad we did! Just off of Durango south of the 215, this is a casual sushi/Asian fusion spot that serves fresh delicious and interesting food. A nice wine list and great wine specials just make it even better. The tsunami roll, the sunset roll and the oysters were fantastic. The uni risotto was terrific. Can't recommend highly enough!
We were not expecting such an amazing restaurant a little off the main drive, but you can see it off of Durango. I have to say this is our new favorite sushi spot. The service is friendly and even though we called out a list of items Kevin our server was on point. The must try roll for us was the Angry Lobster roll, so so good. Even though we live far from this restaurant we are going to keep coming back.
My boyfriend and I came here after being referred from a friend. We were so impressed! Excellent food and service. Some of the best seafood we’ve had in Vegas. We can’t wait to go again and bring friends and family. Thank you!
Found a neighborhood treasure away from the strip. Everything was fresh and well prepared. A great meal that could be a regular stop on LV trips
Extremely good food and service. The exterior does not give this restaurant justice.
First time there and really enjoyed the food. I don’t eat sushi but the chicken teriyaki bowl was very good! Will definitely be back!
Great, timely service. Delicious food. I'll be eating here again.
Good food, fresh sushi and really nice staff. Happy hour is with it. 1/2 off sake nights. Not crowded.
Great food! Great service ! Philadelphia roll was amazing, salted caramel ice cream for dessert and the fried cheesecake. Surf and turf roll, flaming ahi tuna. Service was remarkable. Will for sure be going back and highly recommend
Dining at Pier 215 is always an amazing culinary experience. The cocktails are great and the service is outstanding. I live in Las Vegas and this is our most favorite restaurant off the strip.
Our anniversary dinner was really delicious, but server forgot my husbands soup & they were out of several items even at 6:00.
Would go back & give them another try.
High Quality food, good service , well run restaurant.
Great food and friendly service, highly recommended.
We eat at Pier 215 once or twice each week. Great service and food.
It was our first time at the restaurant. It was a quite surprise! Sashimi plate was very good! Fishes were very fresh better than local Japanese restaurants that I dined in the past! My wife certainly agreed to the freshness! Atmosphere was very pleasant. Service was an excellent one! Price was very nice in Las Vegas! Anywhere in the strip would charge 2X or 3X the amount. I highly recommend for a special occasion or casual occasion. Thanks for the great food and service! I will be back when I am in Vegas!
Great innovation and dinner options! Affordable, local, and great food!
I was looking for the best seafood restaurant to take my wife out for our wedding anniversary and came across this restaurant. We have never been here and thought why not give it a try.
I'm glad we did. The atmosphere and the food was excellent. I had the Baked Lobster tail and Angus Tenderloin and my wife had the Miso Grazed Salmon and the Baked Lobster tail. We thought that whatever we don't finish we will take it home, but we ended up finishing our food and even ordered dessert. It was that good. We will definitely come back that's for sure.
The $49 baked crab legs were superb and totally worth it!!! The salmon atop risotto was perfection - will try the scallops next time. Service was also great - very attentive.
Wait staff needs training badly. Order takers are flat. A good or great waiter introduces the kitchen and the strengths of the menu while asking qualifying questions that may help patrons to become familiar with the restaurant and to make a choice that will leave the patrons fulfilled, happy and satisfied with the choice leaving them ready to come back for more. There was none of this. Girls were cute and bubbly but from the minute we sat down things never got off the ground. Sad. We were wishing so much more would have come from our visit to a neighborhood eatery.
Pleasantly surprised it was great we will return!
Very nice. It's a great neighborhood find. Very good sushi/sashimi items. Great bar menu with even Japanese whiskies. Great wait staff. Very cozy updated atmosphere. Mellow music not too loud.
All of the food was delicious. The sushi was fresh. Great service and nice atmosphere.
This place gets better each time we visit. It's now one of our favorite restaurants. We love the sushi rolls and the Miso soup. The chefs try hard to make special dishes, if you like, but the menu is extensive and very good.
Had an open table reservation for 6pm, they didn't know about it and had to set a table for 5, they weren't busy so it didn't matter but I also put down that it was an engagement dinner but they did not do anything for us. Service was initially great but as it got busier do did our waiter, tried to order some stuff from another waitress but she had to get our waiter to do so. Some of the Food was great and others were so so, overall it's good but not great. Too much stuff on the menu and little pricey.
