It was not worth the price nor the experience. Very poor food quality. I expected way better.
Fabulous food! Excellent server (Raven)! Enjoyed the ambiance! Once one noisy table of patrons left, it was pleasantly quiet.
We enjoyed three meals and will go back. Need to have malt vinegar on hand for fish and chips.
Great meal and excellent service! I was hoping for a little more romantic atmosphere at an upscale place as we were out for our Anniversary. But we really enjoyed it.
watress was not friendly at all, it was not busy, left dirty dishes on table while we were served main course, did not come around to check on us, very disappointed
We had also made reservations for the following day and after being on hole for over 30 minutes hung up and called and left message with operator
I use to come to Calloway every year in the late 70's and 89's, it was great but was very disappointed this trip, did not feel welcomed

The salad and the dessert were exposed. look amazing but people were picking up and putting down.

We attended the Easter brunch buffet. It was very disappointing. The food was not up to Piedmont’s usual standards.
The Piedmont Dining Room inside the Callaway Gardens Lodge & Spa ALWAYS has excellent food, but we especially enjoy the Sunday Brunch buffets. Most recently we attended the Easter Buffet, and while it was priced high ($57 + 20% gratuity added + 20% "Service Fee" (???), the food and presentation were excellent. And the staff is super-attentive, so the whole experience was positive.
We had reservations for 3 & i had added in comments that we wanted to be seated outdoors (my son not vaccinated yet)thinking Cason’s Tap Room was part of Piedmont dining room. However it isnt & no tables at Casons ( walk up only)so we got takeout food which was excellent. My husband & i had lunch there also which was very good except my hamburger had a sweet onion jam on it - think would have been better with ham or poultry. There are some outdoor tables in courtyard next to Piedmont Dining Room which could have been used but looks like they werent staffed for a large crowd especially with the extra cleaning & sanitizing required. We had takeout brunch too/ food is excellent. Covid has been difficult for everyone so hopefully things will get back into gear.
Extremely limited menu and very expensive for a nothing special hotel dining room. I think they are struggling with Covid restrictions and clearly need to hire more people. The sold out hotel for Easter caught them by surprise, I guess. The staff did their best with a bad situation though. There were a lot of unhappy and hungry people because there aren’t any other dinner options in the hotel or close by.
Food was bad and pricey. We did not like it at all
Average at best. Service was poor in the restaurant and the entire hotel. The people that work there have an attitude problem and act like you are bothering them if you ask for anything at all.
Disappointing. Though the actual gardens were beautiful, everything else about Callaway Resort was not what we expected. Rooms and food offerings were unremarkable. Wouldn’t recommend staying or eating here.

Ms.Ruby was great, she was very attentive to our needs. She was the very best the Piedmont had to offer. Just wish they would have allowed us sit with her more.
Metal doors were locked when we came early and very unfriendly lady told us when we could come back. Came back at that time and there was no one there. Perked in and saw her texting.
We had hoped to come for a lovely Sunday brunch but instead it was an average to below average sandwich menu. The server was super nice and enjoyed her much more than the restaurant
Covid- limited menu and currently no weekend buffet. My wife and I both ordered rib eyes. Overcooked and not worth the $34.00 price tag. Our first night out after getting covid vaccine was disappointing. Maybe this place is better when not constrained by covid, but I would not recommend it now.
Good food and impressed with the COVID safety protocols that were well done but didn't interfere.
Every thing was excellent. However. we missed the seafood and prime rib buffet, which is offered on Friday and Saturday.
Menu was boring and lacked choices. Food was bland. May have been due to COVID issues, but still disappointing considering that dining options at Callaway Gardens are very limited. Feels like they are not even trying.

Unfortunately on a holiday weekend this restaurant ran out of food. Seafood to be exact.
Was very surprised by the dining area. It was not the same room as the pictures showed, but was a very romantic.
Limited menu, asked if a wine list was available, response was "there should be". Onion soup tasted like beef bouillon, little cheese, soggy bread. Chicken tenders over cooked and dry. Tried to order fish and chips and told they didnt have any fish. Served the cheese dip with potato chips. Not going to comment on the meal our guests had, but would never take guess there again for lunch.
The food at the dinner was fantastic. I totally enjoyed he Onion Soup, the Shrimp and Grits and the great Cheesecake.
The Food and service was excellent. Very nice atmosphere. will definitely be coming back.

This seafood/prime rib buffet was not worth anywhere close to $44.95 per person. It was sub-par to Callaway's dining in the past. I realize Covid is a factor but the food was not worth the money. And the selection was limited. Not like previous buffets in the past. Callaway has really messed up!
This was the second time we were here, and was outstanding. We would recommend the Piedmont Ding Room to anyone who would like an extraordinary evening out for a very romantic evening.
A separate line for reservations would eliminate the long wait .we spent a good 20 minutes just waiting next in line for our table that was reserved.
Getting into and dining at the Piedmont was very nice, Covid19 precautions aside, but the obvious decline of attention to all things horticulture is disappointing.
The food was very well prepared. I especially like the swiss chard that came with my salmon. The waiter was attentive to my wife's needs, as she has to eat gluten free. I ordered unsweetened tea, and the waiter brought me sweetened tea. It was a good fifteen minutes before he cam around to check on us, and correct the mistake.
Felt good about their Covid precautions. Everyone was masked in the lobby as well as walking around the restaurant. All servers were masked. We had young children and were seated in a a bar area where the other tables had young children as well. We always appreciate this. Tables were spaced out.
Our waitress (Natasha?) was great. Bar drinks were good. Wine list is limited. Steaks were cooked to our specifications, But the quality of meat did not warrant the price.
Overall a good experience. We would return.
Don’t bother booking reservations, they don’t acknowledge them. This isn’t out of bitterness, we were seated immediately once they opened, but the hostess made sure that we were aware that they never look at them.
Also, they don’t open until 8am. Which was a little bit frustrating that I booked a 7:30 slot for breakfast, and had to wait until 8 for them to open, which would have been fine if we would have known.
Great experience! Good food and excellent and friendly servers!
We wish, though, that all servers should wear gloves at all times (only a couple of them didn’t have gloves and made us feel less safe)
We had a reservation, but they were not acknowledging reservations, so we waited for a table to be “set up for 5” for about 10 minutes. Our server was hardly seen. We had to get our own coffee paid separately from a coffee cart. Cold buffet food with minimal options for the cost. Our server was nice but not available. Overall, would not recommend or go again. Maybe it was Covid but it was a terrible waste of time, money, and a meal.
It was a great experience! The only thing I will add is a green salad to the line up of offerings. The cooks or servers in the line were not too knowledgeable of what they were serving. The prime rib, although was tasty, it is NOT served with a gravy as they did, but with an au jus. Overall great experience and we will come back if we are ever in that part of town.
The seafood and prime rib buffet was outstanding. The collard greens were probably the best thing on the buffet. The service was stellar, both the buffet servers and the waitress.
