Piedmont Bistro by Venue
Took hubby here for Father's Day brunch. As usual, it was great. I note: beware of the mimosa special- you will drink it all and then need a LNG nap!!! Ha
We had a great meal and excellent service ! The outdoor patio was peaceful ! (Best poached eggs in Lincoln!)
As usual Piedmont Bistro didn't disappoint! I had the filet and my wife had the scallops. Everything was extremely well prepared and presented beautifully. I had a margarita before dinner, which again was well made and the bar did not skimp on the ingredients. We both had glasses of wine. The wine list is not long, but we have always had very good wines there. Desserts were excellent. I had the 9 layer chocolate cake and my wife had the mixed selection of small dessert items.
We have eaten at Piedmont Bistro several times and have never been disappointed. We both had steak on this visit, and it was exceptional. I had the CAB filet and my husband had the 14 oz. boneless ribeye. They were both cooked to perfection and extremely tender. I could literally cut my filet with a fork.
Delicious cocktails, a varied wine list and great service. One of our favorites.
The food was excellent and service impeccable. I highly recommend Piedmont Bistro to my friends.
Extremely noisy! Tin roof like in a sports bar, hard to converse. Food and service was great!
Love Tyler!! Give him a raise!!
Such a great place for dinner on the patio. Great food and wonderful ambiance.
Absolutely perfect!! The meal was out of this world!! The service was one of the best I’ve ever experienced!! I highly recommend this restaurant!!
Brunch was great, food was great. Service was a little slow and our waiter seemed like he was busy and sort of forgetful. But overall it was well.
We were seated right away, but it took 30 minutes to get our food. :-(
Only complaint would be food lukewarm, but very tasty.
Our food was excellent and served in good time considering how busy they were. Only negatives are the high noise level and very cold overhead draft where we were seated.
We celebrated our Anniversary with a dinner at Piedmont Bistro. We tried the Brussel Sprout appetizer and it was delicious! My husband ate the special, which was the lamb shank, and I had the grilled salmon salad. We topped it off with a beautiful bottle of Krug Cabernet wine. Can't wait to go back. Our waiter was nice, but it was a little noisy, they were very busy! Want to go back again and try something different, and possibly sit outside on their patio!
Our food was very good and arrived quickly to our table. My only complaint is that our server was not very friendly. He seemed rushed and disinterested in really waiting on us. When it came time to pay, I was using a gift card from a friend, and when the waiter saw that, he was almost rude, as if he thought he'd get no tip because of a gift card. I had every intention of adding a tip when he returned with my receipt, but he just kind of threw it on the table and walked off. Consequently, I did not leave a tip because his manner was so brusque and dismissive. I'm afraid I don't know what his name was. I would go to Piedmont Bistro again because the food is good, but I will expect a much better server next time!
Consistent good food and drink...and service was attentive...of course we will be back! Thank you!
We love this place. Food is always delicious and just a little unique from other local restaurants. Service is attentive and friendly. Love sitting in the patio and enjoying their happy hour specials.
I have recommended Piedmont Bistro to all of my friends since my first visit! The food is amazing! I have never had anything to compare to your fried beets! I love to cook, but will never attempt to duplicate! Much more enjoyable to introduce my friends to them in your atmosphere..and I KNOW I wouldn't be able to make them at home! My favorite meal has been the eggs benedict. The service has been excellent and the overall experience wonderful.
Lovely anniversary dinner. Food and staff very good, dessert okay not great.
Good Food, Good Service and Good Ambience! Would suggest it to anyone!
One of the best restaurants in Lincoln. Had the salmon that was served with rice and veggies. Cooked perfectly. Service was attentive and made great suggestions. We love this place
food is great ... busy at lunch! recommend highly! one of our favorites!
We always have a great time at the Bistro. Food is very good, and you get good value for the money. Wait staff does a very good job.
We are regular customers and will continue to be.
I had been there for lunch and dinner many times but was pleasantly surprised at how excellent the food was for Sunday brunch.
I eat here often. Love the food. Love the atmosphere. But, our server for brunch this meal was awful. Slow, disengaged and even rude. To top that off, food was not hot. I will continue to go back, probably not Sunday brunch and will definitely ask not to have this server again.
The Piedmont Bistro has become our go to place for us. Their food is always good as is the service. The wine selection is good to very good too. Menu is somewhat limited to meat and a few seafood items. The salads are wonderful and probably too large for most people. I ordered the scallops capellini with a wedge salad. Total price was $25.00. Wife had the grilled salmon which was also good. Too full to consider a desert although you could be tempted upon walking in the door as the desert case is in front of the restaurant. The Piedmont Bistro always has very good food and value for the money.
Everything was great! I like that you can hear each other speak, though it was around 9:30 am and it was not quite full yet. Easy access to get in and out for our mother who uses a walker. Very enjoyable. We’ll be back.
Great server- Tyler!
A delightful Easter lunch. It was the perfect place to have a relaxing lunch. Thanks to the staff.
It was Easter brunch and all the details of our experience were terrific. We arrived on time for our reservation and were seated immediately. We had an exceptionally great server, attentive but not intrusive. Food was excellent!
Enjoyed brunch very much. Mimosas are fabulous- try Guava.
Dawson was our server. We have had him before. ASK FOR HIM- he’s amazing.
My daughter had the brioche french toast and I had the flat iron benedict...both very good...always start with the beet fries and you can’t beat...$10 mimosa pitchers!...get time at Piedmont Venue...ALWAYS!
Seriously best salmon in town!! Staff is fun and engaging.... excellent experience
Really nice evening
Just like always the service and food was excellent. Always enjoy coming here, because we know it will
always meet or exceed our expectations.
Love to eat there, especially because I can make easy reservations!. Great menu. They were very busy so I think our food must have sat awhile - it wasn’t very hot, but still delicious. Great service by attentive and friendly server. It is a bit noisy.
First meal at the Piedmont - very friendly and fun Restaurant and Bar crowd. The food was excellent - we enjoyed an omelette and pancakes. Delicious - suggest reservations for weekends... Met the manager, Annika - she has her staff trained well, everyone was busy and attentive - great attitudes and service from the bus boys to the bartender. We will be back!
Everything was perfect! The presentation was attractive and meal was delicious. Can’t wait to return.
The food is outstanding. Great staff, attentive and want to ensure a pleasant experience. We love Piedmont Bistro!
We were shown to a nicely situated table for four by the window marked as “reserved” upon arrival. We had made a reservation a few days before on the restaurant’s web site. We ordered glasses of a South American pinot noir. Choices of either 9 or 12 oz are provided on the menu which we appreciated (we chose 12 oz). The menu had a nice varied selection and we all enjoyed our choices. Service was great and the food very good. We’ll definitely return.
