Very loud for a business meeting. Service was great but my bison burger was tiny and over cooked.
The experience was great. My lunch partners had not dined here before. They were very impressed with the quality of the food, as well as the service. A few indicated a desire to return and use the patio when it warms up.
Fantastic service. Great food. We loved our table. The beet fries are still my favorite thing. The only thing that wasn’t amazing was the desserts. We tried the banana cream pie and the chocolate cake.
This is one of our favorite places to go. Probably the best scallops in Lincoln and great steaks too.
This was the first of many visits. The food was delicious! The service was great. Had a great time and the value was amazing!! You can't go wrong. Looking forward to trying the breakfast and lunch menu.
I love this place! The menu is very good. Two appetizers that keep bringing me back to this restaurant are the fried beets and the Brussel sprouts.
My suggestion would be to have bottled water as an option (no fluoride or carbonation). I always order this at a restaurant that offers it.
There was nothing we didn’t enjoy. Great food, great service!
Overcooked eggs for two orders of benedict’s but per server, management was sure to correct the issue immediately. Had a great time treating friends from California, Chicago, and Minneapolis to their first taste of Lincoln. Would have been nice to see management touch our table for that added level of service but overall good management of issue at hand and as always...TASTY!
All of our food was delicious. Can’t get enough of the Brussels!
We were all very pleased with our dinners. The food was great.
My colleagues and I chose Piedmont Bistro for a lunchtime birthday celebration. Our table was ready when we arrived, and was in a corner where we could enjoy our conversation without excessive noise from other tables. Our server, Dawson, was very attentive and helpful with all of our questions. We ordered a variety of menu items and everyone was pleased with their choice. The brussel sprout appetizer was particularly good-- even the non-brussel sprout fan enjoyed it. We will definitely be back for more celebrations!
Excellent service and creative menu. Enjoyed the brunch options.
Very nice Easter brunch
Easter brunch. It was like any Sunday brunch there. Somewhat abbreviated menu, but all of what you'd love for Easter brunch. Eggs, bacon, pancakes, brioche french toast. Pancakes are huge!
Greeting from hostess upon arrival...warm and genuine!...when making our reservation...I like the middle high top table across from the bar and request was honored!...mimosa pitcher at a fabulous price and beet fries to start!...brioche French toast and grilled Caesar salad with chicken...both entrees very good...the venue and menu options superb...but the staff we had from managers to wait staff were flawless! Hope to be back soon! Thank you!
First visit to Piedmont Bistro!! Excellent food & service!! Will come again!!
Always great to seamlessly make a reservation through OpenTable. Brunch totally met our expectations, service - excellent! Another great meal at the Bistro!
We enjoyed a wonderful evening with Friends. Our server Tyler was attentive but not overbearing. Very friendly and helpful.
Great Food! Great Service!
It would have been nice if the waiter had asked everyone at the table if we wanted a drink before taking one drink order then leaving.
I really like Piedmont Bistro but breakfast/brunch is probably not my favorite occasion to visit the restaurant. The breakfast menu isn't as imaginative as the dinner menu.
The food was fabulous! And free desserts were offered after it took a little longer for our meals to be delivered. Overall a very positive experience.
As always, I LOVED my visit to Piedmont Bistro. The wait staff is friendly, and the food was GREAT. It's a popular place, so it's not very quiet, but that's okay. We always enjoy our meals there.
Mushroom pasta had no mushrooms. Halfway through the meal able to catch waiter. Brought a dish of mushrooms. No comp. Hard to hear dinner conversation
Great breakfast and service!
This is a fantastic place for dinner or Sunday brunch. Went with friends after work and came back to celebrate my birthday this place is a gem and a must visit in Lincoln
Never disappoints! The Piedmont cocktail is unique and outstanding!
I've heard such good things about this restaurant and was a little disappointed. My partner ordered chicken and it was burnt on one side. Our waitress was not interested in us at all. Never came to check on us. Never asked how our meal was. Not very friendly. I will say my meal which was soup and salad was wonderful.
Our waitress was great, service was excellent. I ordered the piedmont for my drink and it was very good. The app (gouda spinach dip) was really good, the housemade chips that came with it were probably the best part of the meal. I ordered the bison burger, it was ok. My wife had a steak, she said it was good but was a little cold when it came out. The fries I got with my burger were good. Her vegetables were great (especially the roasted carrots). We had the apple cheesecake and 9 layer chocolate cake for dessert. Both were just ok. The cake had a coffee sauce that was really good, but the cake was dry and the frosting was just so-so. Nothing was horrible and most of our meal was "pretty good", but for what spent on this dinner, we expected more than "pretty good". The place was really loud. We could hardly carry on a conversation.
I love the happy hour $5 cab wine but you have to get there before 6:00. Food is always delicious. Their salads are great.
The food was excellent, always a good experience. However, on this visit I order a filet and when the wait staff brought my dinner, he said "Oh, this is the wrong steak" and took it away immediately. I thought they had just brought me someone else's order, but apparently they just prepared the wrong steak (a ribeye). I had to wait 30 minutes before my original order was delivered. My dining companion was already finished eating by that time and we had tickets to a performance downtown. That didn't leave me much time to woof down my dinner. The wait person was very apologetic (several times!) and the manage came over and also apologized and comped both of our dinners. Of the many occasions I've eaten there, this is the first time for a mix up.
It was great food and good service. How ever we had a table shoved right by the front entrance-so it detracted from the feeling of dining with the rest of the restaurant-felt very out of place. It was packed, but we had a reservation through Open Table malted as “special occasion” so I would have expected a little better table. Other than that the service and food were wonderful. We will continue to dine here.
My party all agreed that the food was under seasoned and bland and we all had different dishes, so I don't think the problem was with an individual dish. Small portions for the price. I can see small portions for the price if the food is 5 star, but this place seemed to be using the fact that it was "by venue" to charge more money for mediocre food. We will go back and try brunch, but my expectations were lowered after the dinner experience.
Food was amazing. Our server was great. Will eat there again very soon.
The food was delicious. There was bad weather that night night so half of our party did not arrive. The waiter seemed to be waiting for all of the chairs to be filled before taking our food order. He didn’t ask if we wanted any starters. We did but when we did place our order we had already been there 45 minutes so decided to go straight for dinner. I will go back.
Valentine’s Day dinner
Our dining experience was awesome! Great wait staff and food!
Wonderful Valentine's Day. LOVE waiter Tyler!!!
First time at Piedmont Bistro and enjoyed it thoroughly. I was planning to order the special prime rib medium rare but my server told me it would likely be more toward medium. So I changed to a 6 oz filet and it was nothing short of amazing. Tender, seasoned perfectly. Yukon Gold potatoes also were superb as were the accompanying julienne veggies. Service was friendly and responsive. Atmosphere was nice as were the acoustics. I will definitely go back.
I eat at many upscale restaurants around the world, traveling for both business and pleasure. Piedmont Bistro is among my favorite places. It stands in very small company in Lincoln in terms of a culinary treat.
For Valentines Day, my wife and I had a superbly prepared filet. A good wine selection. And great service.
If you’re in Lincoln in search of fine dining, go here.
