   My hubby and I brought our daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren for lunch on Easter Sunday. The roast dinners were lovely and very tasty (and filling) the food is always good here so expected nothing less. All the staff are great, really friendly and helpful. Can’t recommend enough.

   On the website it looks lovely however when we arrived it was like an 18-30 holiday vibe we where the only table dinning at 7pm onwards the other surrounding tables where mainly large crowds of revellers very loud and just drinking we couldn’t hear ourselves think never mind converse the food however was really nice but the venue is more of a rowdy pub on Saturday evening rather than a pub with separate restaurant won’t be returning.

   We went here for Mother’s Day and had the 5 course meal they had on offer for the occasion. Never been before but will definitely be returning. The food was fantastic, we had the Sunday roast and the vegan roast option that was a mushroom bourguignon pie. One of the best pies I’ve had. Roast potatoes were lovey too. Service was great, very efficient and food came out in good time. Great value too at £37 for 5 courses. Also my fiance was given a potted tulip as a gift for Mothers Day. Lovely touch. Thanks for a wonderful meal.

   Considering how busy it was food came out at a reasonable time and the waitresses where quick to take orders and ensure our glasses were filled up. Food was quality and worth the prices.

   Food good, side salads would have been nice. Portion of skin on fries quite small. Food came quick and service good, will defo return

   Good varied menu and excellent service. The food we chose was well cooked and tasty . Bar noise a bit overwhelming when we were eating but it is a pub after all ! Would definitely recommend

    Our overall experience at the Pied Bull was one that we will never go again. The meal was a total rip off. We paid £56.00 for an Angus well matured sirloin steak which was probably 6ozs in weight which was tasteless overcooked and barely warm. It was accompanied with a baked tomato a flat mushroom undercooked and a small cup of thin chips which were hot. The small pan of gravy was very salty. The only positive thing was the lovely girl who served us so we didn’t want to complain to her as she has served us served us before in the past. We are pensioners and decided to go out for a meal as a treat and we came away that evening so very disappointed and demoralised we both felt like crying. We will never go again.

    Hi Eric Thank you for your feed back I have noticed you have already left a review on Trip adviser there is no need to leave one on every platform If you were so unhappy with the food you should of ask to speak to a manager your certainly not going to upset the young girl who served you I think if the food was as bad you have said rather than pay for it you would of asked to speak to someone rather than leave 2 nasty reviews on different platform this could of been sorted for you as we like our guests to leave happy . If you would like to call me on the pub number I'm sure we can have a polite conversation to rectify this Michael
