Service was slow, but the people were nice. The mimosas were flat. The replacement mimosas were much better.
Service was good - after lunch was served, we waited a long time for clearing.
Music was very loud.
The food was pretty good, the drinks were just ok, but the volume ruined the meal. The live music was awesome and a cool vibe, but just WAY too loud. So loud your ears right as you leave and your voice is raw from shouting over the speakers and not being able to hear the person/people you're at dinner with. Might be better for a lunch service when it isn't so loud - I wish I'd just ordered to go at that point and left.
Good place for eating good pizza pie
My 1st time to Pie Tap - Addison ...... love the open doors concept - pie was very good & filling -- salad was dripping in dressing ..... barely eatable...Music was waaaaayyyy too loud & service was slow not enough wait staff.........Bartender was a hooot & a real joy.
Will try again --- the location in Plano....
Fantastic food, service, atmosphere. Music too loud for conversation. They just need to lower volume.
It was good- a little loud but there were some large parties. Food was good!!!
Went out with a few girlfriends, and with covid, we felt most comfortable sitting outside. The food and service were great!! my only suggestion is that with where the outside tables are placed and the sun being right in front of us at 5:30, y’all need an awning or umbrellas or something for some cover!
The food is always good. Our server wasn’t very good.
This place is phenomenal!! The chicken meatballs are fabulous, the bread dipped in the marinara sauce is fabulous and the pizza & crust are what dreams are made of. If I ever end up on death row, I want my last meal from here!!!
The service here is inconsistent. I love the food, menu, and ambiance... but, the service was poor the last couple of times I have been there.
I was craving Pizza, so I stopped by and I'm glad I did. The food, service, ambiance was amazing. I'm definitely going back.
This location is severely lacking in service. We requested a high top table in the bar area but were told they were all reserved - they remained untouched for the almost 2 hours the we were there. We sat at the bar counter and our server couldn't remember to check on us or our food order. When our pizza finally arrived it was not at all what we had ordered. Rather than wait another 45 minutes for a replacement, we decided to call it a night and left without dinner ;(
We will stay with the Park & Preston location from now on.
They were a bit slow
Outdoor brunch on the patio. Good food and excellent service.
Even though I made a reservation, i still had to wait 45 minutes for my table. Not happy with that at all. Food and table service was great once we got seated. Our server was awkward and lingered too long by the table and seemed to want to join our conversation which was nice til it wasn’t. Almost an hour into our seating, I could tell they wanted everyone out at ten minutes before closing time because they turned the music up on the patio to ear-splitting volume. I know they like to turn and burn tables, but we would have been done with our dinner sooner if we had been seated when I reserved. I’ll never go to this location again. Design District is much better.
Pie Tap was fantastic... as usual. The food was excellent and so was the service.
First time there and we sat on the patio. Food was very good although not much of a pizza selection. At least they let you split the pizza to have 2 different kinds. Our server Kourtney was Great!
Things we didn't like:
- tables were so close together the server had problems getting through. A lot of that is how they designed the patio, especially the frame.
- warning - there are no free refills (except water) and it is not stated. We paid $12 for 3 Arnold Palmer's (no alcohol). We won't do that again!
Love the pizza and the ambiance!
The service was very disappointing and after dining at other locations we will no be back to the Addison location. Truly disappointing.
Great homemade pizza. Fresh salads and warm hospitality. We will make this a regular spot.
Great food and great service. Would go back again.
Our service was amazing! I wish I remembered our servers name, he was fantastic! Music was great. The drinks are a bit overpriced but everything else is great!
Food and ambience were great. Waiter seemed slightly rattled but attentive.
The Garlic Knots and Margarita pizza was excellent
Met friends for casual get together. Pizza✔️, crispy chicken salad✔️, hummus appetizer ✔️, beer✔️, service✔️✔️✔️. The only negative was the crowd. With the pandemic still going strong, just wish they’d spaced the tables more. We moved ours and felt better.
We will keep coming back!
Great brunch spot! The blueberry pancake is epic and their workshop salad was super good as well! The staff were friendly and easy going. Definitely will be back!
Everything from the atmosphere to the food was perfect. We will definitely be coming back!
Fabulous salads and perfect service. Highly recommended!
David was a fabulous server! Heaters could have been a little warmer but no worries! We love Pie Tap!
Service was subpar and food / drinks weren’t great. Would recommend you hitting the Pie Tap in Dallas until Addison gets it together.
lighting set too dark on row next to windows and was off-putting
Was great! Decided to sit inside since it wasn’t busy. When people did come in to dine everything was socially distanced and they were all very kind and helpful!
First time visit for weekend brunch. Outstanding food and a very good selection. This is not just a spot for pizza!
Beverage service was surprisingly slow. Still would not hesitate to try again.
Service was quite poor. After receiving our drinks we placed an order for an appetizer but did not see our waiter for almost 30 minutes. He returned with no appetizer and blamed the kitchen. We ordered our main course and another round of drinks but watched as our drinks sat at the bar for 15 minutes before our server picked them up and returned to our table. What should have been an hour dining experience turned into over two hours poor service and okay food.
Service was terrible, all else was good.
No social distancing inside at all. All tables were seated. Staff wearing mask on their chins. Definitely not following the 50% protocol.
Food and service was great. The music was way too loud. This encouraged yelling and difficulty hearing each other with or without masks. Unfortunately won’t be going again while COVID cases are high.
