It had been a long time since we attended and was a different location, but it looked much the same. The food was excellent. The noise level was a bit higher than I'd like, but we could converse at our table. Definitely will return.
It was our first time coming here, service was good and the food was good as well, I feel like the knots needed a little more garlic and I would of preferred to have a side of marinara sauce on the side then a side of whipped butter, the pepperoni pizza was delicious! The frozen Italian margarita was good too, to me it was more like a slushy but good overall.
A group of us went to watch Jett Platt Music - he was fantastic! The place had a great vibe and nice patio. It’s right in the heart of a cool center with several places to walk to. Our service was slow but the staff was friendly.
Love the food, and the live music is always a super nice touch! The gentleman that played when we were there was fantastic.
Favorite!!!! Food is always amazing!!!!
Service was slow even though restaurant was not super busy for a Friday night
Always great food and a beautiful atmosphere! I'd like to have seen a friendly wait staff. They did not really pay much attention to us other than taking the order and dropping off the food.
Best pizza in Dallas!!!
The food is amazing! I would go back soon.
This was our first time here. The food was outstanding, which offset the less-than-stellar service. We were seated for almost 15 minutes before a waiter came to the table; this was after I asked the hostess if someone was assigned to our table and she looked at me like she wasn't sure she knew what to do with that information. We received very little service or follow up. We finally had to flag down our waiter for the check and to-go boxes. The restaurant wasn't packed, and they also appeared to be sufficiently staffed, so I can't attribute poor service to outside factors. With several locations around town, we'll try another one and hope for better service!
Excellent food and service!
It is really odd - a large percentage of the reviews on here reference the music being too loud, and I can now confirm that the music is WAY too loud, and yet the restaurant seems intent on keeping it that way.
Even on the patio, the music was loud enough to raise my bloodpressure and make me feel anxious. In the bathroom...good lord it felt like I was losing my mind. White walls and music so loud that it seems to be coming from inside of your own head.
I feel like I shouldn't have to inform the GM of the restaurant that this is a place in suburban Dallas, not an underground EDM club in Mexico City.
Live music is far too loud! Very talented performers, but impossible to have a conversation with those at my table!
Good food, good atmosphere
Delish and fun!
Sitting at the bar you would expect good service - sad that was not the case. Our order for Knots was forgotten as well as our water which we ordered when we sat down.
Service was slow, but the people were nice. The mimosas were flat. The replacement mimosas were much better.
Service was good - after lunch was served, we waited a long time for clearing.
Music was very loud.
The food was pretty good, the drinks were just ok, but the volume ruined the meal. The live music was awesome and a cool vibe, but just WAY too loud. So loud your ears right as you leave and your voice is raw from shouting over the speakers and not being able to hear the person/people you're at dinner with. Might be better for a lunch service when it isn't so loud - I wish I'd just ordered to go at that point and left.
Good place for eating good pizza pie
My 1st time to Pie Tap - Addison ...... love the open doors concept - pie was very good & filling -- salad was dripping in dressing ..... barely eatable...Music was waaaaayyyy too loud & service was slow not enough wait staff.........Bartender was a hooot & a real joy.
Will try again --- the location in Plano....
Fantastic food, service, atmosphere. Music too loud for conversation. They just need to lower volume.
It was good- a little loud but there were some large parties. Food was good!!!
Went out with a few girlfriends, and with covid, we felt most comfortable sitting outside. The food and service were great!! my only suggestion is that with where the outside tables are placed and the sun being right in front of us at 5:30, y’all need an awning or umbrellas or something for some cover!
The food is always good. Our server wasn’t very good.
This place is phenomenal!! The chicken meatballs are fabulous, the bread dipped in the marinara sauce is fabulous and the pizza & crust are what dreams are made of. If I ever end up on death row, I want my last meal from here!!!
The service here is inconsistent. I love the food, menu, and ambiance... but, the service was poor the last couple of times I have been there.
I was craving Pizza, so I stopped by and I'm glad I did. The food, service, ambiance was amazing. I'm definitely going back.
This location is severely lacking in service. We requested a high top table in the bar area but were told they were all reserved - they remained untouched for the almost 2 hours the we were there. We sat at the bar counter and our server couldn't remember to check on us or our food order. When our pizza finally arrived it was not at all what we had ordered. Rather than wait another 45 minutes for a replacement, we decided to call it a night and left without dinner ;(
We will stay with the Park & Preston location from now on.
They were a bit slow
Outdoor brunch on the patio. Good food and excellent service.
Even though I made a reservation, i still had to wait 45 minutes for my table. Not happy with that at all. Food and table service was great once we got seated. Our server was awkward and lingered too long by the table and seemed to want to join our conversation which was nice til it wasn’t. Almost an hour into our seating, I could tell they wanted everyone out at ten minutes before closing time because they turned the music up on the patio to ear-splitting volume. I know they like to turn and burn tables, but we would have been done with our dinner sooner if we had been seated when I reserved. I’ll never go to this location again. Design District is much better.
Pie Tap was fantastic... as usual. The food was excellent and so was the service.
First time there and we sat on the patio. Food was very good although not much of a pizza selection. At least they let you split the pizza to have 2 different kinds. Our server Kourtney was Great!
Things we didn't like:
- tables were so close together the server had problems getting through. A lot of that is how they designed the patio, especially the frame.
- warning - there are no free refills (except water) and it is not stated. We paid $12 for 3 Arnold Palmer's (no alcohol). We won't do that again!
Love the pizza and the ambiance!
The service was very disappointing and after dining at other locations we will no be back to the Addison location. Truly disappointing.
Great homemade pizza. Fresh salads and warm hospitality. We will make this a regular spot.
Great food and great service. Would go back again.
