Really great food, wine selection, and service. Our favourite place in Orillia. We love trying a variety of their small plates (tapas). Unfortunately, this last visit we could hardly hear each other talk. The high ceilings amplify the noise … but we understand the restaurant can’t do much about the shrieking, cackling women who (apparently) don’t know how to behave in a public space. No consideration for other diners.

Took friends and business partners out for Christmas lunch. We all enjoyed the house Picnic Red wine. We shared several different unique tapas items. The food was excellent and the wait staff very knowledgeable and provided good insights into the food. Overall, it was a great time and a big hit. Thanks Picnic

Picnic is in a great location and has good vibe. The food and service were excellent. Most of the menu is tapas, shared plates of food. We shared 4 plates and had the oysters. That was enough to have us leaving full and happy. We will definitely be back.

Service was great, quick, efficient and super friendly. Food was all good, my first experience with Tapas and it was such a fun thing to do for a girls night out. Really relaxed atmosphere. Drinks were really well prepared. Had an Old Fashioned and it was perfect. Could use another dessert on the menu. Will definitely be back.

This was our first time at Picnic and we were not disappointed! The place is small but we had a great, spacious table right in the front window. The decor was lovely and the pottery plates and serving dishes were beautiful. The menu was even better than previewed online and they had their own bottles of wine. Drink menu was so interesting and plenty to choose from. The food was unbelievably good! Absolutely delicious and not a single disappointment in all 10 small plates we ordered. Beet and brussel salad was the best item hands down. Our server Mike was wonderful--friendly, prompt and accommodating. Would go back for sure and recommend to anyone

We ordered the cheese and charcuterie board shared amongst 3 people. It was amazing. I wouldn’t change a thing. The 3 tapas orders were amazing as well. Great place first time there. Will definitely go again.
