Personable service, excellent food and drinks. An intimate dining experience. We will definitely be back!
It was wonderful. The freshest seafood and pasta cooked to perfection. We cleaned our plates.
Small and comfortable and you can hear your friends speaking. Food is consistently great and new dishes every week.
It is a small cozy restaurant with great food and service. You can actually hear your table conversation.
I would totally recommend
Wonderful experience. Have already recommended to friends.
Wonderful food great service cozy but cozy atmosphere
The service and food was excellent as always. This time they had a magician. David Ferst "magic dave.”
Great! Love the place and food- Peter makes you feel welcome!
Always our favorite restaurant. Thank you for making it feel so intimate and special! We always recommend to all our family members and coworkers. Best food!
First time here-we have found an Italian spot that is worthy of the cuisine. Fresh, serious, but not pretentious, genuine and friendly but not in your face. We had the pasta Sicilian and a bottle of Brunello. Delicious. We could close our eyes and find ourselves back in Rome. We also had the house made cheese cake, just the right texture and sweetness. We will be back.
This was our first time here and the food was quite good. However, it is not an inexpensive Italian restaurant and personally, I prefer a more professional staff when going to a nice restaurant. The owner was sitting at a table on the phone when we walked in and didn’t immediately get off and get up. It was a bit of s poor first impression.
Food very good. Liked the place a lot but very noisy on a Saturday eve
Had a wonderful dinner
Owner was warm and friendly, met his parents sitting next to us at the bar, and their friend the chef who used to run the kitchen in the Washington DC Italian Embassy. Lovely meal,, nice bottle of Chianti, a friendly family ambiance in an charming, unexpected locale.
Just a spectacular place for dinner, Piccolos has it all; great food, great service, a vibrant setting and a clientele that just seems to be made for each other, you could sit at a table with any of them and have a wonderful evening.
Good food good service as always!
Piccolo is one of our favorite restaurants with the comfort of a neighborhood place and an interesting and varied menu of high quality Italian food. The menus change often and the chef makes imaginative use of fresh ingredients. The desserts are homemade and scrumptious.
Nothing special expensive and lackluster wouldn’t return
Very high quality food would highly recommend need reservations. Small quaint place. Best cheesecake!
Excellent food and service. A bit pricey. I would also like to see at least 1 vegetarian option on the menu.
Room has poor acoustics and is deafeningly loud (except at the bar). Food is mediocre at best and considering the price is a really poor value.
This is the best place! A atmosphere is laid back and friendly - food sophisticated and delectable. Menu changes weekly and I have never had something I didn’t love. So charming and the staff is amazing!
A reunion with a favorite childhood cousin was made even more special at Piccolo. Thank you Peter and Chef Aldo for a wonderful meal and great conversation.
The restaurant is aptly call Picollo as it is very small, you are sitting on top of each other. The food is OK but very pricey for what you get. The noise level is very high when the restaurant is full.
food was decent but nothing special and the bills was outrageous
for 2 people: salad, main course, dessert, each had 2 glasses of wine - $221.00!!!!!
Its been a while since I went but was reminded how good the food was. Will go back again.
A gem of a find on a get away weekend. Piccolo is a quaint restaurant with welcoming service and an ever changing menu. The food was excellent! From the appetizers to the finishing deserts, everything was prepared beautifully.
Pricing can be on the high end and the wine list is limited but this is a cant miss restaurant when in the area.
"The best veal in the city" - The meal and service were fantastic!
This restaurant is for those who want a tiny but elegant space with a changing menu that uses seasonal and carefully chosen ingredients , artfully prepared.
very authentic, pleasant and individualized attention!
The food at Piccolo is fantastic!!!! The food is gourmet without being fussy - brilliant chef. We look forward to returning and introducing our new fund to friends.
The service is friendly and gracious.
Great place and Italian food. Owner very friendly and accommodating. Heartily recommend any occasion.
We enjoyed Father's Day at Piccolo! The entire meal was excellent, especially the veal. So tender! The owner is very friendly and accommodating. The chef is excellent.
Great experience all around. Ordered the crab cake, orecchiette, and the farfalle bolognese and all were delish!
Warm and genial owner and chef. Excellent and attentive service. Deliciously prepared dishes served to perfection. Very small place but free parking and good sized tables. Pricey. We’ll be back soon.
My shrimp sat in a stick of melted butter- bread was garlic with butter- toasted- probably day old. The cheesecake was outstanding- perfectly flavored and textured. Was disappointed as our first visit there ... the food was wonderful
Food is always exceptional. Peter is the perfect host. Looking forward to our next visit,
Excellent, as always. The menu is always changing, which is great. Amazing small restaurant. Very personal service.
Amazing lasagna and cheesecake. Would go back for these dishes.
If you are looking for excellent and authentic Italian food (not the cliche, stereotypical stuff), then Piccolo will not disappoint.
Their ingredients are fresh and flavorful. The food is elegant and plentiful.
Peter, the owner, is friendly and gracious. He and the staff pay great attention to detail and to the customers.
