Very authentic Italian food.
Excellent place to go food was delicious service great
I had never been to this restaurant before. The clientele is rather up in years. It seems like a fine place, just different than what I expected.
Food was fine but nothing special. We expected more given the review on Trip Advisor. It was also very loud. We won’t be returning.
Preshow supper with friends, found online. So glad we did!
The food was delicious and expertly prepared, and the service was extremely courteous and attentive. The tiramisu was awesome!
New menu. Excellent choices so far. This I second time since new menu and kitchen
We feel like friends there.

An old fashion Italian, family, restaurant. Quite noisy, but a very nice place to take the family and friends.
Very nice place with good, attentive service.
The food was delicious and prices were reasonable. It wasn’t crowded and service was prompt. There was a piano player along with someone playing a horn. Felt like a special occasion which is how it should always be.
Fabulous old style Italian that will fill you up with a smile on your face !
Incredible service & food as always! Love the atmosphere!! Best in Arlington!!!
Piano could be a bit quieter.
The food and service are always good. The restaurant is quite enough to have a good conversation and there is often a musician playing. Daily specials are very good!
Fettuccine Alfredo sauce was too thin.
One of my Arlington Favorites. Live music with piano and sax the Friday Night I was there. Great background for a very good dinner.
Piccolo Mondo is our first choice for fine food great service and quiet atmosphere in Arlington Texas. The piano music is a plus blending with the classy backdrop.
Consistent every visit. Love the food, service, atmosphere and ALWAYS the pianist!!!
We've eaten at PM for years. The food and service are consistently excellent. The lasagna is the best I've eaten, including the lasagna I've had in Italy. The atmosphere is relaxing. Prices are moderately expensive. Highly recommended.
Piccolo Mondo entrees are usually exceptionally good however this time I had the Veal Scallopini Parmesan and the veal was well fried but then drowned in sauce so it lost all crispness and the sauce had a little bitter taste. However my wife’s Shrimp Pasta dish was excellent.
Solid Italian cooking. Service was very good. Price for the food is 20 - 30% higher than comparable places.
Best Italian I've found in dfw. A little pricey, but not too bad, and definitely worth the coin. Also lunch time, eggplant parm is the way to go. Legendary!
Lovely atmosphere with piano music. We always enjoy going to Piccolo
Piccolo Mondo is a neighborhood gem that my family adores. It’s our go-to place for special occasions. Ambiance is wonderful, upscale but not stuffy. Staff is attentive, service top-notch. Food is sometimes better than others but consistently good with nice options and daily specials. We love this place!
Food was good but not as good as similar places in the price range. Being one of the few upscale places in Arlington , the proprietors are at a great advantage. The live music was fun and nicely executed, but the mauve walls pair poorly with portions of the restaurant that are visually sparse; thus the less than perfect ambiance rating.
Very nice restaurant, just the right ambiance, great pianists, excellent waiter, extremely flavorful food. We enjoyed celebrating our Valentine Dinner there and will continue to be a patron.
We've eaten at Piccolo Mondo for about 30 years and are never disapponted. Food, service and atmosphere is always the best. Valentine's dinner was no exception, although they do increase the prices which I don't understand. They had a full house but didn't rush us or bring our check until we were completely finished. Exceptional dining experience!
Very Great Experience... my daughter requested oil and vinegarette dressing for her salad, and gluten free pasta and the were kind and accomodated her dietary needs... Our waiter was busy but very attentive and engaging.... Brilliant attentive service, one of the best romantic restaurants in Arlington!
My WIfe and I enjoy the food and service very much.
My husband and I arrived at the restaurant and was seated promptly. Our waiter was excellent !! The atmosphere was perfect for celebrating our anniversary. We loved the piano music and she played my requested song of "Fly Me To The Moon". At the end of our wonderful meal we where going to order Tiramisu but to our surprise our waiter brought us a yummy dessert dish with a light candle. I highly recommend Piccolo Mondo for great food and service.
great food and enjoyed the piano. service was excellent and all around we had a nice time. making a reservation would be recommended on a friday or saturday night.
As always, Piccolo Mondo didn't disappoint! Tony is always so friendly and accommodating and Miguel is the funniest waiter around! Thank you!
Impeccable service as always. Have been going for over 20 years
We love Piccolo Mondo and have dined there for years. The food is outstanding and a great value. Service is always perfect! We usually meet friends before dinner for cocktails in the bar. The bar tender has been there for years and knows us and our friends; she always is friendly and takes great care of our bar needs. Can’t go wrong with cocktails and dinner at Piccolo Mondo!
Always a great place for dinner with my hubby or friends. Service is always impeccable. Can't recommend them enough.
Our family had a delicious meal to celebrate my son going off to college. Centrally located and easy to find. Service could not have been better. The meal was delicious. I wish gluten free pasta was on the menu but plenty of options .. thank you for a wonderful evening!
Always enjoy this restaurant. Food is consistently good. We enjoy the live piano music and that you can hear to have a conversation with those you are dining with.
This restaurant is wonderful!! Have eaten here anytime I’m in Arlington. Just 2ish closer to where I live.
After many very good dining experiences over the years, this the first time that the food was lacking and that the service was only fair to poor. Veal Marsela dish, soup of the day and Caesar salad were pedestrian in taste. Our waiter seemed mechanical and perhaps inexperienced and not attentive, which is the opposite of our prior experiences. The size of our party necessitated being seated close to the performers, so that, in addition to the fact that the table was in a heavy foot traffic area all made it difficult for us to converse. However, kudos as usual to the talented piano and saxophone performers. This is one of the very few places to be able to enjoy a lounge area with a variety of music including Cole Porter and the great songs of early and mid 20th century. We believe our Saturday night experience was an aberration and definitely will return.
Great Italian restaurant and best rib eye steak I have had, comparing to Pappas and Del Frisco! Will definitely be going back more frequently!
Excellent service, nice menu, enjoyable evening
This is a little gem of a restaurant
Private room for large party made the night special
