   Great night at Henley on Thames Piccolinos. Food very good and decent portions (sea bass slightly over cooked but other three meals and starters top notch!). Been many times now and love the place

   Disappointing! Having celebrated a 30th birthday back in October 2024 and loved everything about our experience - we decided to return to celebrate my mother’s 60th this month. Table was booked for 7pm, front of house was very busy and were delayed in seating us. Our tables order wasn’t taken for another 40minutes. No ribeye or venison available to order, but we were only told this when ordering. Starters arrived from 8.30pm - they were lovely. Mains however, were a disaster. Steaks were returned over cooked, some had string still attached to them - no steak sauces were given intially, and then arrived after repeatedly asking for them and when everyone’s steaks were cold. One main didn’t arrive until others had finished! This meal was excluded from the bill but didn’t make eating it enjoyable. A couple shared a chateaubriand and it was simply the same size as an individuals steak, accompanied by one portion of chips and one sauce for both of them. It seemed to take a very long time to eat a meal that was mediocre at best. All in all, we felt disappointed with the service and food. I wouldn’t recommend attending in a large group (there was 8 of us) or ordering any steak!

   We had a great night and this was my 3rd visit but our pizza was disappointing and over cooked, I have had better there before.

   Love this restaurant, BUT, this time our friends and us all fancied the beef special for £50 for two. We had two orders and were shocked that the price was £50 for 2 then in small print (per person). In other words £50 each for some beef. We were devastated and even more so when the waitress and then the manager voiced that that was a common mistake made by many diners. Perhaps, instead of trying to fool your guests you should alert them to the price upfront. Shame on you.

   The perfect place to celebrate Mother’s Day. The restaurant was really busy yet the service was faultless. Definitely making a booking again in the future

   Good selection of dishes incl kids menu. Service was great, staff so helpful and friendly. Great atmosphere in a busy restaurant on Mothers Day.

   Disappointing, got 3 of the orders wrong. However food quality (when it arrived) was good. Kids pizza arrived with uncooked pepperoni, and was returned with cooked salami?? No harm done but could have done better.
