Delightful ambience, excellent service with attentive but unobtrusive staff. Food quality was high and we were very pleased with the deal on wine which was available on our night out. Our thanks to all involved.

We went to celebrate 2 birthdays over lunch. Restaurant was not very busy but nice ambiance. Food was excellent and service was also excellent. 50% off wine was also a bonus. We will use Piccolino again

We had the option of sitting inside or outside and because it was a lovely evening we took the option to sit outside. The seating was lovely and it’s a very intimate and delightful view to look out onto the square heaters are available if it becomes a little bit chillier later on in the evening. The service was absolutely outstanding and the attention to detail was 2nd to none. We had the fish for the Mayne and it was so well done such good quality And a very enjoyable experience. Overall the quality of the food, the value for money, the service, the attention to detail, the atmosphere was definitely something that I would want to experience again quickly. Birmingham has very many restaurants, but this one was certainly in the top five that I would recommend people try at least once. If you are coming to the city for the first time It’s in the main area of where the hotels are situated and you will always be greeted with a warm welcome well done to all

Tables packed way too close to each other. It is a nice restaurant but spoilt by being packed in so tightly like a sardine in a tin. You can clearly see that it is entirely based on packing as many people in as possible and the comfort of the customer is not considered at all. I guess it is mainly a ‘pre show’ (Utilita) restaurant and entirely about making as much profit on ‘show’ nights. The food was average, nothing special. Two of us had the salmon pasta. There was literally hardly any salmon in the dish at all. It isn’t a cheap restaurant and we all expected a better experience. Overall, a disappointing evening.

We had a wonderful meal, it was very busy, this was due to the Justin Timberlake Concert! Food was delicious , service was very speedy.

Service was slow. It took a long time for our initial drink order to arrive, following prompting. We had to speak to someone regarding taking our meal order, as this too took long. The kids eat free menu was not made clear. A menu given without clarification, which led to us disputing the bill. The staff were very polite and pleasant.
