The server was warm and efficient. He was really nice. The food was delicious!
Great outdoor dining spot and always good for a date night!
Excellent food and service. The Caesar was very good and our pizza was amazing. We highly recommend.
Never disappoints! Thoroughly enjoyed dinner. Polpo appetizer is to die for.
This is our go-to restaurant and it never disappoints. The food is sensational and the service is always friendly but also professional. Highly recommend!
Great place for classic Italian. The pasta is fresh and handmade. I always have a great meal at Toscana!
Always a pleasure! It was so much fun to be back at a restaurant. Food was (as always) wonderful. Our waitress, Jackie, was terrific. Seeing our old friend Joe, the waiter, was fun. Everything about it was perfect!
Had a table inside, spacing was good. Food was outstanding. Only disappointment was some beer and wine (by the glass) listed on menu weren’t available.
We LOVE this restaurant. Food is always fabulous as well as the service
Good food! Ambience is really nice and relaxing. Great for a date night!
Service was awesome!!!
Food was great! Cooked to perfection
We will dine again.
Always good food. Feels like home. Great for foodies.
Waitress was delightful. Food was terrible.
Chicken wrapped in pruscuitti (sp) was not edible...chicken was very tough
Angel hair pasta was okay...meatballs were mealy and tasteless
Won't return as the food was below par and not inexpensive
We dined during COVID and we had a great experience. The restaurant is very focused on cleanliness and are very careful to keep everything sanitized. Our waiter was very attentive and the food was good. The ambience is not what it used to be due to social distancing but nonetheless we were comfortable and had a very nice dinner.
I have always had an excellent meal there. The ravioli stuffed with eggplant was over cooked and tasteless. Absolutely no trace of eggplant could be found. Very disappointed. I assume it was an off night.
Toscana is just as good as ever, and we were so happy to enjoy indoor dining. The restaurant is quieter than before due to social distancing, but the food and cocktails are great. There are a few other changes, like no linens, but in an upscale way.
Great late evening dinner. Excellent service. Excellent food.
Brought my parents here last week for their birthdays (dads 60th) and was pleasantly surprised. They didn’t do anything special for their birthday (which would have been awesome) but obviously would be an extra bonus/ wasn’t required by any means..pasta is almost all homemade and all of our meals were delicious. The sangria (white and red) were crowd pleasers. Location is a little odd but definitely not a deal breaker by any means. Will most likely go back and definitely recommend.
Staff is terrific and food was sublime! Also they were spot on with safety
Wonderful food! Very safe steps taken for Covid 19 protection.,
Very clean and nice to eat
We dined outside in the time of Covid. The staff handled everything well within their means. The food was excellent quality and the service was good.
We had a very nice dining experience with the limited capacity seating. The service was prompt and the food quality was excellent, like what we are accustomed to from toscana.
Great restaurant. We always enjoy our food and the service is great.
It was a cold windy day and we asked to be put in the back not near the door and without any hesitation the hostess was very accommodating. She also was our server and was very helpful. The food was excellent.
Easily the best Italian restaurant in Wilmington. Great wine selections and pastas. It's a regular haunt for us.
Fabulous meal and service celebrating our 30th Anniversary! All was just perfect including g to two specials we got as entrees: seafood stew and the tuna! The wine suggested was yummy.
It was a very busy night (Valentines Day weekend), and the service definitely suffered from the rush. Nonetheless, a great dinner and enjoyable evening.
Always a great meal and service. Our go to Italian place in Wilmington for a fine meal.
Great food and service. Good prices.
Small menu but I think that's what makes
the food so good.
The restaurant seated us roughly 40 minutes after our reservation time. It doesn’t appear there’s a reliable reservation system in place. Walk-ups were seated first. I will say that the staff did well with their situation.. Outside of seating walk-ups before reservations, had they happened to arrive first, of course. They were clearly over-booked. Not sure who’s fault that is, yours or theirs.
We had an 8:00 pm reservation. When we arrived at 8:05 we were told it would be about a 5 minute wait. We got a drink in the bar area to kill time and were finally seated at 9pm. There were two high school age girls running the hostess station with no manager in sight. I understand it was Valentines Day but the hostesses didn’t know what they were doing. They asked several times what our last name was again when we were sitting at bar. Our server was very good but our seating location was terrible and my husbands chair got knocked into like 10 times while we ate dinner. There were several empty tables throughout the night which leads me to believe they were understaffed. And again — no manager anywhere to be found to help the hostesses.
The food was delicious, and the service was awesome. I would definitely dine there again and recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.
We came here for Valentine's Day and Amadu was awesome ! Answered all our questions, worked hard & was over all an amazing server ! We will definitely be asking for him in the future:) give that man a raise !
Sunday early meal after wine tasting at Moore’s. Place is starting to look a little tired and worn out. Limited menu on Sunday night, but we knew that. Buffet too, but we are not buffet people. Our waitress was good, very busy with a number of tables, but took care of us. All had pasta, and was good, but nothing outstanding.
This is a really good neighborhood Italian restaurant! The menu was terrific and the food looked good on the plate and tasted delicious!
After suffering from declining food quality and a lack of attention from management for the past few years, this Trolley Square staple appears to be back to its old self. My last few visits have been very positive experiences with attentive staff and excellent food. I was happy to see a few creative specials in addition to the regular menu. I’m looking forward to once again enjoying the outdoor dining this spring.
Good service and food. Enjoyed the oven baked breadsticks. Olive oil could’ve been seasoned for more flavor. The scallops were excellent. The eggplant parm appetizer somewhat mushy and underwhelming. The octopus appetizer was tasty but small amount of octopus overall. A nice dinner but nothing memorable.
The atmosphere, service, and the food were great. It was a romantic spot. I took my partner here and we had a great might. Only thing I would say is that the food was not anything exceptional. It was good, but it didn’t blow me away. Overall, the restaurant is a good place for a romantic evening.
