Food was amazing !!!! Wine was tasty!! And the server alma was so knowledgeable, attentive , suggestive , and on top over everything !!! Would def be coming back here soon.
Some of the best pasta in Brooklyn! Love coming here.
Our favorite italian restaurant in our neighborhood; great place for dinner or brunch.
I can't say enough amazing things about this restaurant! I went there for a date night last Saturday and was able to get a reservation with no problem. The food was absolutely delicious I had the squid ink risotto with calamari and my partner had the squid ink pasta with crab both were out of this world and a perfect portion. Our server was lovely and very attentive and the best part was it was very affordable. I will be returning very soon.
I liked this place. Reasonably priced, good customer service.
lovely neighborhood Italian - good food and nice ambiance, good service and not too noisy
Great restaurant. The staff were knowledgeable about wine selections and the food was fantastic. Will definitely coming back.
Birthday for one of the party
Great experience!!
I had a great time. Food was very tasty and the restaurant was cute and romantic. Service was quick, and staff was attentive.
Went for the food and were not disappointed! The best, best pasta, for sure. Great wine selection too. Service is usually hit or miss. This evening was in between: friendly, but attention was lacking and every serving came one after the other (for example, we had just started buttering our bread when appetizer arrived - It’s the little things, since we waited for it for a while). Will give it another try...
Great food, some the best Italian we've ever had. And we've had Italian all over, including Italy.
Food was heavenly! I will go there again!
We were very disappointed with this restaurant. If you are looking for large portions at a low price point, you'll like it. The dining room is filled with tables closer than a bistro in Paris. There are only small candles on the table so you can't read the menu or see your food once served. It is a neighborhood place so go if that is what you want. I am not a big eater and they would not entertain the idea of a half portion. Wine list is overpriced for the setting.
Mushroom risotto was excellent, portions were generous, atmosphere was cozy and cute.
We had a wonderful dinner at Piccoli. Our server recommended the special that night, osso bucco which was superb and gluten free so my partner could have a taste as well. Wines were well priced and excellent. Homemade tartufo completed the dinner.
Great food and terrrifc staff ! Very family friendly.
My partner and I went for our anniversary and the food was delicious and the service was awesome!
The restaurant was very dimly lit and it was hard to read the menu. The staff was nice but the food was okay, not as good as the reviews had said. A huge disappointment.
Super cute if a little bit cramped inside! Food was affordable and really delicious; they were pretty packed when I went so we spend a bit of time waiting to get the check at the end of the meal. Overall my party had a great time, was blown away by how good the food was, and felt very taken care of.
A cozy, quaint restaurant. Every meal each person had in our dinner party was excellent! Service was great too.
Always a pleasure to be there! Great staff and food!
Yes and no. Walked in and the noise was so loud couldn’t have a conversation. It is not usually that way. Service was ok and food did not rock my world as it usually does. Might have just been an off night. Just happy it wasn’t my first visit.
Service was very slow considering the restaurant was only 20% full. The squash/mushroom appetizer and bolognese pasta were very good, but the duck breast was dry and chewy. The reason for the low rating is because a different nut was substituted in our dessert with no warning and I am allergic to the one that we got!
Second visit. Great food, cordial service, very nice presentation and atmosphere, good wines. Only restaurant where I've found barberra wine. I'd be comfortable eating solo. Wish parking easn't a problem.
Cozy south Slope neighborhood restaurant with outdoor seating in front. The in-season vegetable appetizer was freshly grilled. The homemade pasta was cooked al dente with accompanying delicious sauces/ ragu in both the rigatoni Norma and the pappardelle with braised short rib ragu were savory.
Next time I hope to save enough room for dessert.
I have eaten a Piccoli for many years and it is consistently terrific!!
There Pork Chop and pasta with duck Ragu are standouts.
They cook to order, so sometimes it can take a while, my advice is to order
as soon as you can!
We enjoyed my son’s birthday celebration! We ate all of our pasta and risotto dishes.
Excellent location. Homemade pasta with rich and decadent flavors. A must try fir lovers of authentic Italian cuisine.
Good food, great service. Can be noisy when busy so I tend to go early.
I walked past this restaurant so many times and have always wanted to try. I finally made it. And the food was really good. Place is sooo cute. Great for all sort of occasion. Highly recommend!!
My favorite Italian Restaurant at this time! I love all the pasta and risotto dishes. I wish the salad were a little bigger. Delicious o!
Delicious dinner! Plenty of tasty food that is consistently good.
The past a was excellent and price d ok. Salad good but small for the
Money
We live right in the neighborhood, only 2 blocks away, but this was our first time eating at Piccoli. The little outdoor seating area in the front is charming. Overall a very warm and cozy vibe! Good selection of wines and the food was delicious! Most importantly the staff was super friendly.
Understated but amazing food.
Homemade pasta, delicious wine, affordable, cozy, right by the train, friendly staff...what could be better? We love this spot!
I stumbled upon Piccoli while exploring Park Slope after recently moving to Brooklyn. I immediately "bonded" with this charming trattoria. I come frequently and always enjoy myself.
One of my all time favorite restaurants! Love everything about it ❤️
Everything was great!
