Piccola Cucina Osteria - Spring St.
We had an amazing night at Piccola Cucina while on a visit to New York. If you are looking for truly authentic Sicilian cuisine with a cozy, New York neighborhood vibe, this is your place! I had the Branzino which was incredibly fresh and prepared in an authentic Sicilian simplicity. The pasta with Eggplant was orgasmic! The Arancini were more delicious and scrumptious with every bite! The service was attentive and everyone from the wait staff to the kitchen staff spoke Italian. A perfect little gem of a place! Can’t wait to go back.
This is a fabulous little place! We loved the delicious food and the service was wonderful. The vibe in the restaurant makes it a very special place to spend an afternoon!
Amazing value. Wish there was more space though
Great service and wonderful food. The only negative point is that the space is so tiny and tight.
Surprise en arrivant : tout petit resto mais trés sympa . Accueil et service parfait Nouriture excelente : pates , viande , poisson . On reviendra
The food is incredible. Small Italian eatery with attentive servers, delicious food. Amazing!!
One of the best Italian restaurants, worth while the wait.
Very authentic southern Italian home style pasta
GREAT PLACE AND VISIT. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING. BEST PASTA EVER
The best Italian food I’ve tried in NY. Amazing service.
Small in Size but Big in Flavor. I loved my evening at Piccola Cucina Osteria. We were 3 friends getting together to enjoy a meal and catch up. We shared some of their amazing homemade pastas, Tried a couple of entrees and tasted several wines. Everything from the pasta to the vegetables was wonderfully seasoned. Even the eggplant and squash screamed flavor. The staff was warm and engaging. I think we were daunted by how piccola it was but they soon put us to ease by how well they cared for us. Great food. Would definitely return. Arrivadella Piccola Cucina Osteria!
The restaurant is small and intimate. The staff is very attentive. The food is just delicious. Highly recommend the arancini and tagliatelle with wild boar ragu.
Good food however very hyped. Pasta was hard and service was not particularly welcoming and quite abrupt. Very small restaurant.
A lovely dining experience. Will definitely be going back next time I'm in the city. Of note, they were able to expedite our meal for us to make a show uptown.
This particular location is great for dates or eating solo. It's a VERY TINY space, not good for large groups. 4 people max if you want to do a group dinner here. Food was excellent, authentic delicious. Staff was good but felt a bit rushed to take my plate but it was packed and it is a small space so they probably were running through plates quickly. In the winter, with people and their bulky coats etc its a bit cumbersome to maneuver around. Again, good for a date or solo dining. Absolutely no room for strollers and kids.
Overrated restaurant. I didn't appreciate the "blasè" attitude of the waiters. Food quality is great, but wine list could be better.
We really enjoyed lunch - authentic food, service and ambience. Highly recommend!
Delicious italian food. Good athmosphere in a small place. Very nice people
Piccola Cucina Osteria is amazing! I organized a birthday lunch here with my co-workers. They were able to accommodate us all (7 in total). The food was excellent! Everyone raved about their pasta dishes all day. The desserts were scrumptious!!! We ordered a few and shared them. To top it all off, they sang me happy birthday and clanged dishes and flicked the lights to melody. What a great experience!!! I highly recommend this place!!!
This was a last minute decision and a really good one at that. Would definitely recommend coming here with a reservation as the restaurant is very small.
They had plenty of specials that were not listed on the menu but the food is delicious.
Such a cute hole in the wall place. Gets very busy as it’s a small restaurant, so be sure to book in advance.
Food was delicious - got the wild boar and truffle pasta which was divine. My friend ordered the shrimp, burrata and rocket pasta which was also delicious. Between 11AM-4PM, there is an $11 lunch special (your choice of pasta) which is such great value for such a huge portion of pasta. Cannot wait to come back and try the other dishes. A big shout out to the amazing waiter, Mario, who took great care of us. The cannoli was a great touch to end the meal!
Great food. Noise level too high for me (Top 50 pop hits type music playing at high volume)
Just returned from Sicily - this was great! Great food, service, wine list
Wonderful food and service! Great value for NYC!!!tight quarters and conversations were interesting to say the least! Would definitely return! The squid ink pasta with lobster and porcini mushrooms was some of the best I’ve ever had and I have eaten coastal Italian in Italy! FANTASTIC
Un pezzo di Sicilia a NYC. Consigliatissimo a tutti quelli che desiderano mangiare italiano classico ma contemporaneo.
Eve of marathon and hubby wanted just simple pasta and sauce. They made something off menu and it was delicious. Ran a great race next day, too!
It doesn’t get better than this! :) thank you for having us!
Best Pasta in Town! Great service and nice place! I certainly recommend
tiny authentic Italian bistro. I love being shoe-horned in and a bustling atmosphere. Mitch was in charge , hosting and serving at times. Great guy, lots of fun and ensured we had a good time. Good value for Manhattan. Wine list was a little thin.
Really Great italian food and so affordable .
Service is great
Unpretentious little bistro in Soho. Sitting elbow-to-elbow with local NYers gets you into the spirit of the city. Homemade pasta, reasonable prices, attentive service. I look forward to my next visit!
Excellente cuisine italienne
Le rapport qualité prix à midi est vraiment très bon
Service efficace et agréable
Je recommande sans réserve
Misa the best 👌🏻 green tagliatelle amazing
So so so great! Fabulous wine selection. Best arancini, polpette and pasta! Highlight of NYC!
Wonderful food and great service. Just expect to be cramped since the restaurant is time and there isn’t much room to move.
Booked a reservation weeks in advance and was given a table outside in Fall weather. The food was cold very quickly as a result. I also had to eat with my coat on. This was a late night reservation, not “prime” dinner time. I think if I have a reservation I expect my table to be indoors, unless specially requested otherwise... give the outdoor tables to the walk in customers!
Not our first time at the restaurant either. We come back because their pastas remind us of Sicily. Unfortunately my sardine pasta was overcooked this time and quite a shame.
Pasta was not that good.
Nice genuine menu and good service plus the place is intimate and cozy. Sadly the noise level is deafening.
We were lucky the windows were open so it helped to a degree. Otherwise I would definitely go back....
