Piccola Cucina Osteria - Spring St.
Friday/Saturday : 11.30am - 11.30pm
Tutto buonissimo!!! I ragazzi sono stupendi e danno allegria a tutto l'ambiente!!! Bravi!!!!
We love this place for the food and staff! Always have a great time and Sumaya our server was spectacular as usual. All the staff are wonderful.
I was born and raised in Italy in a coastal city, I am myself a cook. I’m a foodie and I had the luck to experience the finest restaurant in nyc (Le Bernardin is my favorite). That being said I’ve rarely had better seafood than at piccola cucina. The pasta al nero di seppia was something to die for. I also strongly recommend the grigliata di pesce: perfect. Prices are ludicrously low: guys you should charge more!
Fantastic food and service! The pasta was to die for. Highly recommend the lobster pasta, pasta with boar and truffle and the octopus appetizer. Gem of a restaurant.
Beautiful and very tasty food. Highly recommend. So good we did it twice!
Just about the best bang-for-buck you can get at a sit down restaurant in lower Manhattan
Food was delicious and authentic. It's rare in NYC to find a lot of choices for pasta with seafood. I'm Italian and I strongly recommend this place to everyone who wants to eat original Italian cuisine
The food was awesome and the staff very friendly. The restaurant is very small and had a hard time accommodating reservation times.
Best date restaurant.
First had the thinly slice swordfish wrapped around mozzarella cheese and a tomato based sauce - a very creative, unique appetizer that goes beyond the usual, perfectly executed. Followed up by a lobster sauce fettuccine with plentiful lobster pieces in the pasta sauce accompanied by a half of a small lobster. Very tasty and fresh. Had my eye out for one of these cozy little Italian restaurants during our 2 week stay in New York. Very happy to have found Piccola Cucina Osteria. Possibly the best of many top quality restaurants we experienced during our stay. Fortunate to have found this gem just before we headed to the airport for our flight home.
Exceptional meal and great spirit/energy of the staff and that of the patrons. Just be prepared for "tight" quarters to sit, and the necessity to use your "outside voice."
Simply the best
This place is a must eat!! A true gem!! Food is outstanding.
Italian food like in Italy
Great Italian dishes. The best parpadelli cinghiale I ever had -- in the US or Italy and I try it whenever I see it on a menu! Friendly staff. Tight quarters but worth it. I will definitely be back!
Dinner was an absolute dream! Thanks to amazing staff Emanuele & Misha my boyfriend and I had the most idyllic Italian dinner. We ordered burrata and two pasta dishes (mine with Sicilian tuna, his with fennel sausage). The ingredients were so fresh, I've never had such incredible pasta. The service was top-notch: Emanuele and Misha were so attentive and accommodating! I highly recommend this restaurant and will stop by every time I visit New York from now on!
A must visit if you’re craving authentic Italian dishes.
The food was amazing, the taste and the way it was served. I would deft. go back. The only inconvenience was that is very small place, the sitting is very tight. However with the food quality you don't mind at all.
This was our return visit to Piccola Cucina Osteria and we were very excited to return. The staff, food and ambiance are authentically Italian. Very tight tables, but that is part of the fun. Delicious, filling pastas, presented simply and boldly. Lovely arancini and an interesting wine list. We look forward to returning again and again.
Our dinner was authentic Italian food. It was truly a dining experience. We loved every bite!
Todo espectacular. Debes tener paciencia porque tienes que esperar por lo menos 30 minutos así hayas reservado. Vale la pena. Muy rico. Buen precio.
As usual, an excellent experience. The food is wonderful Sicilian and the wines were terrific. The staff cordial and warm.
Food was terrific! Great apps and menu. Pasta was excellent. Small and tight but staff kept it completely in control. They also engaged with the customers. Great food and service at a very reasonable price.
An excellent meal and excellent environment!
Extremely loud. Tight quarters, great appetizer but very mediocre with the entrees.
If you have ever been to Sicily, you will be instantly transported back because the food is that authentic tasting. My wife had one of the best meals she has had in NYC and we are foodies who have eaten in many places. It is small and cozy with two outside tables for two in front. The staff is incredible. We love this restaurant and have been there three times now - Never a disappointment!
If you are in SoHo, this is a MUST!
Great place to people watch. This was my third time there. Real Sicilian cuisine. Main attraction was pasta alla sarde. Had this dish twice in Sicily. Maybe the traditional dish of the island. Hard to choose the entrée given several great specials. Loved the arancini, octopus salad and polpette. Went there with different people each time. All loved it. Always made friends with the waiter. This time is was Nicola from Naples. Dominque Ansel bakery right across the street. We will be back again.
All around great dining experience. Great food, great wine, great service, great value.
We really enjoyed our evening here, and the Food lived up to All expectations, very Rustic with great ingredients.
O.K. the Tables are very close together but it is a Small Restaurant and lets face it you go for the Food.
Would go again next time in New York.
One of the most Beautiful Italian restaurant of the USA
The food and service was great. We were there this past Friday, 6-29-18 .The workers seems to enjoy their job. They made everyone’s dinning experience fun, especially the music being played along with the singing. I had never seen my kids clap along in anything !
I highly recommend this place. It has life to it. It’s not a place to have a quiet romantic dinner.
Molto gentili e disponibili. Il locale non è grande però per gustare un ottimo piatto di pasta è fantastico in un atmosfera molto rilassante
The food is amazing and the staff is so no e and accommodating. We eat here every time we are in New York and are never disappointed. Definitely one of our favorites of all time!
Very good authentic Sicilian food and service with reasonable prices.
If you want to have a real taste of Italy, you have to go to this place.
I recommend it and I’ll back for sure!
Dinner is quite busy for good reason. The pastas were very tasty, especially the green tagliatelle with beef ragu and truffles. Portion sizes were generous.
Only gripe was the loud club music they were playing, which was an odd choice for an authentic Italian restaurant. Very distracting and difficult to have a nice conversation.
