Piccola Cucina Osteria - Spring St.
Friendly service with a buzzy atmosphere, all in a typical Italian restaurant setting. It is matched by home cooking like you would expect to eat in Italy which is one of the keys to the success of the restaurant.
Great care is taken by the chef in choosing the freshest ingredients according to season.
Other two Piccola cucina locations are:
Piccola cucina Estiatorio ( 75 Thompson street )
Piccola Cucina Enoteca ( 184 Prince Street )
My favorite Italian restaurant in the city!!
Great environment, great food, great service! Will be back again!
Simply one of the best restaurant in New York. I feel like being in Italy (where I am from) when I am there. By far the best valued restaurant in NYC
Best Italian in NYC!
Locale delizioso, la cucina, oltre ad essere squisita, rispetta la tradizione dei piatti del caro sud Italia con un tocco magico di innovazione. Grande rispetto, stima e ammirazione per lo chef Philippe ed il suo team!!
We had such a great time, as always. Thank you, Eleanora, Mario, et al. The food, wine, and people were fantastic. So warm and welcoming. Can't wait to go back in November. Grazie mille!
Thanks for making it a wonderful birthday dinner!
Fantastic service and food here. Visited whilst on holiday for my partners birthday after seeing online reviews and wasnt disappointed. Venue is gorgeous and intimate, staff are super friendly and welcoming and the food is fantastic.
Would highly reccomend.
My go to while in NYC. No visit is complete without it.
Ottimo cibo e molto abbondante Piccolo locale servizio molto buono veloce Prezzi abbastanza elevati
We went to Piccola Cucina Osteria for a Sunday Lunch. The reservation was made for 1.30 pm. We arrived 5 minutes earlier and our table was already ready. The food was great as well as the service.
Amazing attentive care and delicious food in a cozy ambiance !
Excellent food and service. The place is small and fully booked so it is a bit tight but probably adds to me appreciating more how the service staff manage the restaurant efficiently.
Great food and service!
Crowded little Sicilian eatery but food was fresh and kitchen to table was fadt
Delicious food, friendly staff. Made a reservation but still had to wait at least 20mn before being seated. Still a great experience.
First rate no nonsense no frills sicilian food made by mexicans.
Definitely one of the best pasta’s I have had in New York! The service is great and one would definitely think they were in Sicily. The meet Supplí are a must!
Be prepared to feel a bit tightly seated but its worth it! Bravi!!!!!
I would give this place 1/2 star if it would let me and it’s not due to the food. It’s for the most terrible service I just witnessed and experienced at this place. In the short dinner service we had here (1hr), my wife and I watched the waiter at the door turn multiple diners away. He said they were fully booked, but certain people (pretty white girls and well dressed pretty people) were either seated immediately, told to wait a few minutes or a phone # was taken for a later table. Towards the end of our meal (just after the 1 hr mark) the waitress came over and said “not that we are rushing you, but we need your table for a group waiting outside (no reservation, well dressed group of 4) we can move you to an inside table or this middle table (where you literally can be bumped by the wait staff every 5 seconds). Keep in mind, we had reservations. In addition, we witnessed them turn away a group of 4 young men whom the waiter walked to their other less crowded restaurant. Anyway, we moved but I clearly was very upset. So, they gave us our $10 dessert for free. I have been dining in NYC for 25 years, and I never experienced such bad service. Such a shame😤👎🏻. It’s no wonder you’re dropping in trip advisor ratings. I’ll make sure to spread the word.
Always a treat to eat here
Food is amazing
Small and loud venue but this is hardly a worry as the food, wine, and service are excellent. The specials of the day were tasty and the portions of pasta are hearty. I would highly recommend this place!
Great food and great service in this little Manhattan jewel.
Like be back in Sicily! Everything was perfect, food ambience, simply the best! And they made a special celebration for my mother’s birthday Wich was involving all the clients! Thank you!
It was my birthday!!!The food and the wine was really good!
The service perfect
I was in love with the octopus
Wow, we loved every minute of our experience. Yes it’s a small space and quiet energetic. So if your looking for a quiet, average meal this is not your place. The service was amazing, so nice, attentive, able and willing to answer questions. The pasta was fantastic, the grilled octopus was out of this world! We found prices cheaper than most in NYC, and go for the cannoli. You won’t be disappointed! Make a reservation, it is small. We
The place is much too noisy to have a conversation. The food is just so so. The combination makes a poor dining experience.
Wow, this place is truly fantastic. Excellent service, amazing food, and great wine.
So glad we made a reservation, otherwise we would have had to wait in line outside. Highly recommend for great food and friendly service. Even with a line outside they do not rush you to leave.
Small place with big suprises! Great value on selected lunch menu. The portions are well rounded and tasty, Can't beat the price, pretty good wine list.
Fantastic meal every time. Staff is great, the food is authentic and one dish is better than the next, true gem in the neighborhood.
Food and service was great but we had a horrible table squished between the entrance and another table.
Absolutely delicious and great service
Great food, we had the grilled calamari, wild boar tagliatelle and the lobster linguine. The ambiance is amazing, very cute and small restaurant--sit outside!! The service was quick and no mistakes were made. The staff was charming, knowledgeable and kind! Definitely one of my favorite places to eat lunch/dinner in Manhattan.
This is one of my favourite spots in NYC for authentic Italian food. Pasta is phenomenal and the service is lovely. Last time I went was for their lunch special and I will absolutely be returning the next time I'm in town. I don't have enough good things to say about this place, definitely worth visiting.
It is a small restaurant but they make the most out of it. They are very efficient as people just poured in. The service was impeccable. Did not feel rushed. Provided very good advice on the food. Food was excellent. We shared Grilled Meatballs, Burata, Eggplant, Ravioli,
Branzino and 4 Desserts. One of the most enjoyable Italian meals. Felt like being in Italy. Have put it on my favorite list.
Best Anniversary ever! The food, as always, was wonderful, as were the people who who work there. Thank you!
Wonderful experience, excellent food and service. Authentic Italian food in a small, intimate space packed full of personality. Make sure to book in advance!
