Piccola Cucina Osteria - Spring St.
Friendly service with a buzzy atmosphere, all in a typical Italian restaurant setting. It is matched by home cooking like you would expect to eat in Italy, which is one of the keys to the success of the restaurant. Fully renovated in 2021 the location looks warm and cozy.
Our other two Piccola Cucina locations in Manhattan are:
Piccola Cucina Estiatorio ( 75 Thompson street )
Piccola Cucina Uptown ( 106 E 60th Street )
Piccola Cucina Osteria accepts online requests for parties smaller than 6 guests only.

Piccola Cucina Osteria is and has been one of the best Italian food spots in all of NYC for years. I've been coming since 2015 and the food never disappoints. Also, their hosts and service teams are absolutely amazing!!!! The perfect place to eat and get a meal like mama cooked it!!!
I almost don’t want to give this place a review because it’s that good
Pasta undercooked, wrong dishes served, very disappointing
Very good. Service was excellent.
First time here, and omg!!! The food was so amazing!!! So damn good!!
The staff were so funny and nice and just so accommodating. Loved the Italian accents by the girls. Can’t wait to go back!!
This place was absolutely amazing. We felt cozy, warm even though it was freezing outside and the service was so kind and good. We visited with our two girls and they made spaghetti for them as we requested. We tried the days special that they recommended and everything was delicious. We will visit again when in NYC.
Wonderful, small but lively restaurant with friendly service and great pasta. A truly enjoyable experience!
The food is sooo delicious! During the holiday I came back there twice (my birthday and New Year’s Eve)! The place is small and cozy but definitely everybody must try Arancino and Cannoli ☺️
Great food! Wonderful ambience! Definitely a must!
Beautiful and good food!!!
The waiters are very nice and friendly.
This place has pretty good Italian.
It’s as small as a closet. So your crammed in.
Especially with covid. Not sure if that’s what you want.
They do have outdoor seating.
Staff was very nice. But they tried to move the dinner along so fast. Hard to enjoy. We weren’t even done with the salad. And they tried to take our plates several times.
And the pasta came out too quick.
They wanted us in and out. As fast as possible.
Beyond that the tagliatelle was great!
The food was great. Would definitely visit again!!
ridiculous dining spaces especially in covid time. And cold.
Excellent food, great service in an intimate setting. A fantastic way to have Christmas Dinner. Well worth the visit:)
Very, very tasty food and super friendly service
Great food, great service..a must when in NY. Small restaurant, matériel sûre to reserve
The food tasted phenomenal. We had to talk ourselves out of ordering more and overindulging. We had the gnocchi, lobster pasta, and lasagna, along with an appetizer of the stuffed calamari.
The staff was very friendly and upbeat. Tiny space, but filled to the rafters with positive vibes.
The food didn’t live up to the previous reviews. Sat outside in an enclosed area, were sooo close to others, and food was just average. (Except the octopus, that was very good!). We asked to be seated indoors, but that’s only 3-4 tables! Asked on open table, thought they would honor our request or say that we couldn’t sit inside. Not like the pics. Average food, good waiters, lukewarm coffee. Don’t know where these amazing reviews are coming from!
Amazing as always.
The food and the service very good but no one checking for proof of vaccine and in the kitchen no one is using gloves ☹️😣
Food is always delicious, and the service is great. It’s just a very small space so it gets a bit noisy and hectic. Definitely recommend though!
The best Sicilian restaurant ever!
Fabulous, simple and rustic, yet delicate and beautiful. Don’t miss the Vitello tonnato
When you want Italian food like you get when in Italy, this is the place to go. So delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant in the SoHo area. It’s a little bit of a walk if you are visiting NYC and staying near Times Square or Central Park, but well worth the walk.
Lively with great service and fantastic food. Authentic Italian feel. Small area but managed perfectly
The food isn’t just good, it’s AMAZING! The service is great, the atmosphere is wonderful.
The real italian taste! All the guys are super welcoming, the food is very good and the location is cozy and friendly! Piccola Cucina is the perfect match for a very italian dinner experience. Good job guys!
The place is very small, too many tables for such a tiny space. The food is just average. The waiters, on the other hand, are great.
The great reviews are entirely justified. Great food and service
It was a great experience, I recomend it!! Delicious food, the place clean and pretty, the people very kind….
Everything was outstanding! Food, service and wine! Highly recommend.
We had a wonderful group dinner with 4 of us total. The place is tiny, but super friendly and wonderful to be in. One of the best things was the table side tiramisu!
Delicious food! Excellent and kind service. A really memorable dinner.
Incredible tasty and authentic Italian food. Lovely staff and great service would highly recommend
This little restaurant produces some of the best Italian food I have had. The tables are set up outside in a comfortably, heated space. It was a bit tight though. I would recommend it and to make reservations
