Very nice food! Cozy, but kind of loud! Great service.
Was really blown away by the quality of food. The pasta dishes are fresh and authentic. The waiters were lovely. I plan to go back again.
Although quite small and noisy, the food and service were very good.
We really loved the food, but the staff were playing music so loud on tiny and tiny speakers we couldn’t hear each other- by New York standards it was excessive. It made the meal uncomfortable. We asked them to turn it down, and in response they turned it up. Rather juvenile response. So I’d just go to another good Italian place next time.
small, packed place with home cooked sicilian food. prompt service, nice wine list, friendly atmosphere not to mention reasonable prices. busy on the friday we were there; a weekday would certainly be worth a try.
Best Italian we’ve ever had! Very cosy too! Great service and decent bill.
The food was fantastic...
Loved it! Sebastiano was the beeest and we all had so much fun.
The place is too small, crowded and noisy. Food is top class.
A small space with lots of tables, probably the best Italian food I have had in the city. Just know that the music is on the loud side so the place does have a good amount of noise.
Awesome time every time i go here we absolutely love it thanks guys
When I crave comfort food I head to Prince St and Cucina Piccola for a latte and Pasta All Norma. The staff is friendly and efficient. The chef prepares authentic Italian dishes with vegetarian and gluten free options. Its cozy (translation small) but very comfortable and homey.
just a few words really sums up this local gem...WONDERFUL...FANTASTIC...AAMAZING.....FEEL GOOD...GREAT ATMOSPHERE....GREAT PEOPLE WHO RUN AND TAKE CARE OF YOU....
El lugar es delicioso, la pasta boloñesa y la lasaña espectacular, pero es muy pequeño, las mesas están muy apretadas.
The food is fantastic for fresh homemade Italian. You feel like your eating at your Mom’s dinner table. Everything is great from quantity to quality. The staff is great and service is perfect for dining.
Fun, small place, friendly service. Mushroom pasta was boring but the appetizers, wild boar ragú and sea bass all excellent.
Only drawback is bad loud music over the already noisy café atmosphere.
We asked them to turn it down, but only lasted for awhile. Had to listen to “ Billy Jean” twice!
Otherwise wonderful little place
Tiny secret gem in Soho. Some if the best italian dishes in the city. Wait staff is so attentive, friendly and helpful. Tables are close together, because its a tiny intimate setting. Will be going back soon!
EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT
Cute, charming, Casual little spot in SoHo. Judgement free place, not a typical fancy SoHo Restaurant you’d expect.
We had a reservation and we were seated right away.
Very friendly and polite staff.
Great food, moderately priced.
The wait staff checked on us two or three times and asked if everything was okay with the meal and service.
Very generous pour of wine too!!
Will definetely go back!
My favorite meal during my visit and we ate at several great restaurants. Tiny neighbor gem. Plus the fact that a major celebrity came in to eat while we were there didn’t hurt either! HIGHLY recommend!
Shame there are only 5 stars. The food was easily 10 out of 10. Small place, good service and chef right there you could interact. Sooooo good!!!
Great fun & tasty place!
Loved this place, what a great find. Our food was delicious and it was so fun to be able to see the chefs do their thing. Loved it.
Absolutely love this place. One of the best, most authentic Italian restaurants in the city - and exceptional value. Great food and wine, lovely service and a lively, cozy spot especially at weekends.
This is becoming a favorite place to bring out-ot-town guests. Home-made pastas with interesting sauces, and the Barbera d'Asti are always great.
Great food, great service, great atmosphere!
Food was mediocre, the staff kept moving my plate to get by to a table nearby. The restaurant was empty and they sat us so close to the couple next to us. It was like we were on their date with them. Then the smell escaped the kitchen and just stuck to our clothes and hair. It was just an odd experience altogether.
Charming wait staff
Authentic (!!!!) cuisine
Great pasta, only negative was our arancini was a bit cold - if they weren’t so busy I would have sent it back but we were hungry & didn’t want to wait any longer.
A great restaurant with great service and magic food. A real favorite in New York.
Wonderful experience. Small restaurant in a quiet area. Food prepared fresh. The sauce was the best I have had. Would highly recommend and would go back on another visit to NYC.
One of the best Italian I’ve ever been to !
as a native new Yorker, I can honestly say ive been to thousands of places to eat in the city so, for me to repeat myself over and over and go to the same place is not an easy task...but I can honestly say that it just gets better and better everytime....the food is amazing...the place is great and most importantly everyone that works the establishment from the waiters to the chefs in the open kitchen wearing there hats the place is just energetic and alive!!! you leave not only full but happy!!!
A true NY gem and I hate to have to rave how amazing it is as, not easy to get in as is so, now I just made it harder on myself!!
Great Italian restaurant. Nicest staff and excellent food.
Well, I certainly got lucky with this selection. Had to meet some out of town business acquaintances for a late lunch. I found the perfect day, the perfect time and the perfect cuisine. I wish I had more time to explore the wine list, the pastas and perhaps the seafood. I had the bruschetta caponata, which was a delicious small meal. The spices were amazing, the eggplant tender, the bread toasted just so. I will be back as soon as time permits!!!!!!
Really delicious, amazing food (pasta right out of the pot!) and large quantities for the price! I highly recommend this restaurant! It's very small, so be aware of the amount of stuff you bring in and probably not great for people who may feel claustrophobic. Perfect NYC gem.
The restaurant is tiny but the food is authentic Italian and the atmosphere is fun and lively. The biggest problem is that my reservation was not respected. I feel that if a restaurant takes reservations they should honor them. As long as you're prepared to wait for a table do not hesitate to visit this restaurant.
The piccola cucina is too piccola. The food is gorgeous.
