Picco Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
The food was delicious, but the service really spoiled the evening. Dishes came out one at a time, with one of the sides being the fist and only dish that appeared. As we were planning on sharing all the dishes, this made for a strange experience. And this was after we confirmed with the waiter that we wanted everything together. Also slow to order drinks after seating, and long interval with empty glasses with no checking to see if we wanted another. We skipped desert and coffee.
Disappointing after waiting so long to get a reservation. We had to wait 15 min to be seated in a crowded bar with no room to enjoy a drink while waiting. Food just correct, nothing spectacular considering the price per dish. Nice, cozy place, terribly loud and with a poor service. Definitely, not at the level of expectations.
This place was incredible! For a short trip to get out of the city, I was shocked to find some of the best italian food I've had in a long time! The sausage gnocchi was out of this world and the avocado bruschetta was a real treat! The service was attentive and accommodating. We'll likely even travel from the city to come back!
All around great. Great menu. Our waitress suggested sharing and we shared both small and large plates. Every dish was amazing. We were four and could not decide which of the 6-7 dishes we ordered were the best. Some great dishes we ordered were the octopus, the risotto, the gnocchi, the salmon.
Don't miss this place- just go!!
This was one of my favorite restaurants for many years and tonight was no exception. Well, that's not exactly accurate only because I was looking forward to the risotto. Unfortunately our server forgot to place the order so we never did get it. It was OK for we ate other wonderful items to fill our tums and she sent us home with a lovely chocolate dessert as an appreciation gift. So even a fabulous restaurant with great service unbelievably delicious food and a real happening vibe - things can happen but it's not the end of the day. Of course I'll go back and have my risotto!
The tuna taretar is great. Gazpacho great. French fries - bad, soooo much salt and they are like steak fries. I love salts but it was gritty with it. Risotto - bad, very bad. The asparagus was crunchy the grains of rice are huge and the sauce aspect flavorless. Sorry, but needs work, especially for this kind of price tag.
