Our menu still features the classic and seasonally driven thin-crust pizzas and polpette Piccino is known for; our salads and soups use the finest organic produce sourced directly from small local farms. Piccino's menu has expanded to include more small starter plates, house-made pastas, contorni (vegetable sides), and special entrees of meat, fish, or poultry. Seasonal desserts and expertly made coffee complete our daily offerings.
The most delicious dishes - prepared with love! Soooo good!!!
A cozy an elegant environment to be in to eat the delicious food. Always a pleaseure to eat at Piccino.
Never acknowledged our birthday notes, but others in the restaurants were gifted birthday celebratory treats
Always enjoy coming to your restaurant, but yesterday there was an unusual delay in our entrees. An extra salad was provided as an apology (and appreciated). I think the opening of the Chase Center may be impacting service. Still love you and see you again!
Greatest service ever, food outstanding!!, wine ( Bandol rosée)simply the best!! Thank you
Excellent service, amazing fresh food, kinda an odd side facing into a retail store- our server from New Zealand was A++ from timing, to recommendations, to her personality
Wonderful food. Servers were very cheerful and loved the wine suggestion. It took awhile to take our order but everything else was fantastic!
Love this restaurant. I've eaten there twice and the food, both times, was outstanding and quite gorgeous to behold; food as art.
I'm loathe to give such a good review as I don't want it to get tooooooo popular! But I couldn't resist.
Great food- portions are small
The hostess was rude and not accommodating with my infant. We love this place and we were so disappointed. Our waiter was lovely which helped turn this around but not dying to come back here again
We arrived early but we were not served in a timely fashion. Our pizza order was forgotten and we watched people around us who arrived after us being served for quite a while before the waitress came over to apologize for the problem. She offered bread but by the time she brought it the pizza arrived moments after and it was wasted. The music was a boring mix of seventies oldies. I think they could do better. We ordered crude, which was very good, but minuscule and expensive, olives, which were good, and a pizza, which was also tasty. If they had served us on time I might have a different impression.
Great food and service. Hadn’t been in awhile. I’ll be back soon.
Great service, fun atmosphere, good fun. A bit expensive.
I have been going to this restaurant since they were a small restaurant at the other end of the street. The food has continued to be the best. My fav place to take friends and quest from other countries.
Was there to celebrate my birthday and everything was perfect. From the wine, to the service and especially the food. Wonderful local atmosphere and Maggie our server was an absolute delight!
Superb, all around. Every dish thoughtfully designed. Been coming here for years and it keeps getting better.
Absolutely love this place, space, and staff. Highly highly recommended.
Love this place! We had a very nice time as we always do. Service was amazing!
I’m visiting SF after moving away to Palm Springs 18 months ago. Piccino is my favorite restaurant in SF.
Wait staff is extremely cordial.
Loved the experience / food
Always wonderful to eat at Piccino. Best pizza in SF! The room is so light and friendly as is the staff. And they put a birthday candle on our dessert.
Food and service excellent as always!
Had not been here for years. We decided to give it a try again and were blown away how delicious everything was. Everything seemed as fresh as could be and the pizzas are a cracker crust - the type preferred in Rome. Somebody is paying real attention in the kitchen. It is fairly expensive but have to say it was well worth it.
Frequent guest, one of my favorite gems in SF. Love this place!
Birthday dinner date for my husband. We had a great table, wonderful service, great food. This is our new favorite neighborhood dinning spot!
Great dining experience. Very attentive staff. Delicious dishes. Relaxed, hip environment. We were delightfully surprised that the recommendation of my daughter turned out to be such a wonderful birthday experience.
I've been her 3 times and it has been exceptionally good all 3 times. Highly recommend.
Great food, nice brunch, fun place to be, we could talk to each other.
Bright, friendly neighborhood place, with a great menu, and helpful, efficient service.
Delicious dinner. Crazy bill
Food at Piccino always surpasses one's expectations both presebtatuib abd fkavir, IOnly drawback sitting so close to tables and having to listen to their conversations a drawback to great dining experience.
Wonderful neighborhood gem. All the servers are amazing and the seasonal menu never disappoints.
Piccino has been a go-to restaurant for our family for a number of years. The food is always delicious and the service is stellar. From the garden salad to the Salsiccia pizza, to the short rib hash (brunch), it's all good.
We shared our dishes and they were all good. We were 6 people, not 5 as I had booked for. But they were very nice about it and accommodated us with no problem. Friendly service and a very nice atmosphere and setting. Also, not so noisy that we couldn't talk as is the case with so many restaurants in SF; in fact, we conversed to much we were the last to leave.
the food always fantastic. The space always beautiful. The service? needs a bit of a wake up call from complacency. they were passive and seemed totally uninterested. It would be sad that the restaurant fails because of indifferent service. They had NO desire to be bothered by customers.
I just love Piccino. Always excellent food & good service.
Not a free desert
Terrific pasta and very complex recipes. The polpette was exceptional. We can’t wait to return.
