This is a great alternative to the more expensive Brazilian steakhouses (Fogo de Chao, Chima). Meat selection is excellent and well prepared - a carnivore's dream! Friendly and accommodating service - since it is COVID time, your request for options from the salad bar is brought to your table by the server.
I enjoyed the food and the employees. Nice place. Will visit again
Best Authentic Brazilian Steakhouse in the USA... Great service and I'll be back soon
Food was fantastic, they seemed short staffed but servers were friendly and accommodating. No music was playing and the restaurant was a little quiet, not many people in there. Some Brazilian music would have livened it up!
Dinner was a bit underwhelming. Started out great with first round of meat but unfortunately went “downhill” from there.
Perfect food, perfect service...
Ambiente is good
I definitely back more time
We went to try All you can eat and the restaurant had just three tables.
Salads buffet was poor but with Covid times it's understandable.
Tables, plates, glasses and cutlery were clean, the restaurant was quiet and pleasant.
Chairs were highly uncomfortable.
Our waiter took the drinks order, but they were never arriving so we started eating without our drinks.
After a while she came with just a beer because they had just one bottle of that specific beer.
We choosed another one but they still forgot to bring a lemonade wich came almost after 15 minutes.
Meat was good but nothing exceptional.
We were served small pieces of sirloin medium well which was never let sit but served sizzling,
chix breast wrapped in bacon (super dry),
pork sausage cooked in the pan, not grilled so extremely greasy,
garlic steak (skirt) nicely cooked,
roast beef not marinated or tenderized, so gummy,
small piece of lamb that was smelling bad and had bad taste,
ribey that was the best part.
We can certainly save from this experience the service cleanliness and the price which is fair.
Some dishes can be good some not, so don't expect much.
Customer service was excellent the floor was very slippery it was like skating . Food was really good. Overall experience was good. I will go back.
Service was extremely poor. Kept trying to get drinks but they did not bring until at least 40 mins into being there. Would not recommend.
Food was pretty good. Service was ok.
The restaurant was empty when we first got there so that was great. The service was awesome! The salad bar was closed due to coronavirus restrictions, however they offered us everything that was on the salad bar and in ample portions. The meat was great as always and they frequently came by with different things. 10/10 recommend!!
Had the greatest birthday for my son, food was amazing, the service was great. Highly recommended
First time and will keep going back!
1 of the worst brazilian steak house, lack of flacir meat, i ordered filet mignon, medium well, and they brough it over cooked, i told the gaucho about that, and he said, is medium well, and got mad.
First time here, we were met by a very nice gentleman that seated us and explained how everything worked. Then asked about cocktails. We started with the salad bar. It had everything you would want plus. After seating down the men started coming out with the different meats. Had to be 10 different things. Chicken wrapped in bacon, garlic chicken, sirloin, flank, ribeye, filet, can’t remember the rest. All very good and hot. Deserts were delicious. Will be back
Great food and great service. Music could have been improved. But overall a fantastic experience. Would recommend and come back again.
Good evening, Thank you for taking the time to review our restaurant. We are thrilled to hear you enjoyed your dining experience! We look forward to serving you again soon. -Picanha Brazilian Steakhouse Management
Nice service, meat selections were good, salad bar was beyond amazing. Would love to go back.
This waa tge second time I've been here. The 1st time waa during restaurant week. They made sure we were seated comfortably, the service was nice and the food was good. The 2nd time they sat us in a small room by ourself we were ignored hungry and when they brought the meat out it was the same flank each time. Restaurant week was inexpensive and better than my Valentine's day and i will not be returning.
The food and service were excellent. Me and my girlfriend had been to fogo de Chão numerous times but decided to give this place a try on Valentine’s Day and we now have a new favorite restaurant. We are so happy that we found this place ! The whole service team was wonderful
A great unexpected find, We came for a birthday dinner and had an amazing time!
The pictures online gives you entirely different feel than what you get when you visit
I love this place. The food is outstanding. Staff are friendly and accommodating.
Food was delicious, waiter was friendly and always smiling. It was just a bit loud but that means everyone was enjoying themselves. Would definitely be going back. We went for restaurant week and we were not disappointed.
My expectation was a romantic ambiance for a Friday night dinner with my husband. Well, I felt like I was in the food court of a mall. The food was good but did not serve the entire variety that was printed on the restaurant week menu.
Salad bar was huge with both hot and cold items with many Brazilian specialities. Delicious! The meat
selection was unlimited with many varieties. The meat servers were very efficient unlike the table server.
The bar was not very inviting. Too bright with little ambiance. Dining room was cozy and comfortable and
the food delicious.
The service was impeccable, the ambiance was very nice I felt like the meats could have been better, under seasoned, over cooked, tough, some things were delicious, but overall felt ehhh. I would try another brazilian steak house next time
A lot of options, but the food had our stomach in knot the rest of the day. Interesting combinations at the buffet. The music and vibe was really cool. The servers helped each other out which was nice, but still took 15 minutes just to put our check. Must say, glad I went for restaurant week and did not pay full price. I won’t be back
I went to this fairly new restaurant with my roommate for Restaurant Week. I had been to other Brazilian steakhouses (Fogo de Chao and Chima) in the city, so I was curious to try this new one out. We had a later reservation, but we were seated immediately. Service was really good; our server checked on us a lot and was kind and timely. The restaurant itself was smaller than the aforementioned two restaurants above, but I liked it because it didn't feel as overwhelming or fancy, which I wasn't about. It seemed more casual to me, which I prefer. The food was very good. I highly enjoyed the salad bar options; there were more variety of options than the other Brazilian steakhouses I have checked out. Though I'm not the biggest steak lover, the meats were cooked well, and service was great here as well. I especially liked the chicken options that were brought around - very delicious! Over all, I really enjoyed my experience here, but I',m not sure if I would go again unless it was Restaurant Week or a special deal.
We had lunch here during restaurant week. The hot and cold salad bar was awesome with high quality products. I loved the quinoa and fresh beets. The beef on the skewers being carried around to your table by the waiters was tasty. Our waitress was super nice and attentive. The restaurant was very clean and attractive. We will be back.
The value during restaurant week is worth it, but in terms of Brazilian style steak, the meat was not the highest quality nor cooked the best. Typically after slicing off all pieces with searing, the skewer is returned to the grill to sear the exposed meat again. Also, the number of Brazilians actually employed was a low ratio. I came with three Brazilians, so I am basing my feedback based upon their review.
I was there for the $20 3-course Restaurant Week lunch. There were a lot of choices on the hot and cold salad bar, but many of the hot items were not very hot. Of course, one doesn't want to fill up on the salad bar when there's all that meat coming. The luncheon choices of meat were limited. There was bacon-wrapped chicken, bacon-wrapped sirloin, Brazilian sausage, garlic chicken, parmesan pork, and prime sirloin. I tried everything except the parmesan pork. The only think I really liked was the prime sirloin. The dessert I chose was a trio of balls - chocolate fudge with chocolate jimmies on it, coconut with shredded coconut on it, and cheesecake with strawberry jam smeared on it. They were very good.
Great food and great service. The food was all fresh and the staff was super friendly and helpful.
We went for restaurant week and were not disappointed! The lunch menu and scrumptious hot and cold buffet provided so many choices. The dessert was the perfect topping to a great afternoon. The staff was excellent. I will definitely return!
Food was delicious and very affordable during Philly restaurant week
We had an excellent meal and fantastic service. I highly recommend eating here.
The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was good too! Would definitely go back again!
So awesome to have a real Brazilian restaurant in Center city! Food is amazing and the best around. Service is great and the whole staff is very friendly. My new go to spot in the city
The drink was watered down and the food was just okay.
Fantastic service and quality of meat. Nice setting
