Great food and service. We were sat next to a wall that was taped up with paper. Hopefully not will be fixed soon.

Took a very long time to get seated even tho I had a reservation. Very noisy place, not at all a romantic scene. The ambiance was not what I expected. Food did not come around often enough for my liking. Also, my reservation was at 9:30pm don’t come that late if you want fresh sides. I didn’t see them change out any or add any new food to the hot bar and salad bar

Picanha is the number one Brazilian style steakhouse now. Chima’s which ruled the throne for quite sometime in our eyes is no longer in center city. The chain that took over the location at 20th and JFK (NaBrasa) has a nicer salad bar but that’s not what I crossed the bridge for. I crossed for the tasty unlimited cuts of beef. Fogo de chao and Picanhas used to be tied for second. No more. Fogo de chao has dropped a few pegs but Picanh STILL has meats so tasty that you will keep your card turned up green all evening. Nice spot with an atmosphere that’s just right!

Overall, it was just ok. The majority of the hot items on the food bar were cold/luke warm. The meat servers did not come around like they should’ve and all of the meats that were advertised for restaurant week were not an available. Some of the meat was not seasoned at all and had a weird texture. The pineapple was the best part of the meal. I’m glad I went for restaurant week and a discounted price. Had I paid full price I would have been extremely disappointed. I will not be returning. It was not at all what I expected.

Service was very good as the meat came almost nonstop. We turned our card over to say no and they still came which sometimes we didn’t mind. We asked for the grilled pineapple towards the end of our meal and it came to our table 3 more times.
