Great experience for my birthday! I definitely recommend this restaurant!
We ate early and sat outside on Las Olas. I had the stuffed eggplant, which was delicious and my husband had fettuccine Alfredo with chicken which was delicious as well. The Italian bread was toasted and came with marinara dipping sauce (always a plus). Overall, we enjoyed the experience and would dine there again.
Great service, but the food has gone downhill on this third visit. Chicken picatta had a good lemon/butter/wine sauce but not even a full chicken breast. Carpaccio was good although a little skimpy on Parmesan. Pasta Alfredo with chicken did not even resemble the classic dish. There were tiny cubes of chicken and an odd flavor in the sauce. This entree also had a tiny amount of chicken. At 8 pm on a Friday, barely a third of the oddly laid out tables were full. We will give it one more try and hope for better portions or prices. After that, it’s a pass on this place.
Delightful Italian full service restaurant. Enjoyed a wonderful meal with very attentive staff. Highly recommend.
Great service and even better food
We love Tony... he always find us the best bottle of wine to accompany our meal!
Lambchops were absolutely delicious
On arrival for a 12.30pm reservation, the place was not open. How could a reservation be made? Very inconvenient.
The digital ceiling lights cast a pinkish orange glow over EVERYTHING! Food and waiter included. It is distracting at the very least. food was just ok considering the Las Olas pricing. This is just another fly by night tourist trap like so many other restaurants that have occupied this space.
I randomly chose this Italian restaurant because it was near another venue I was taking my husband for his birthday. To my surprise this restaurant has a crazy led ceiling with the Sistine Chapel and they okay fireworks for birthdays! The ambience was incredible as was the service. I would definitely come back again soon.
Nice ambience. We went to celebrate my daughter's birthday and they made it very especial. The only flaw is the waitress was impatient and pushy to service new customers. She picked our plates even we had finished our appetizers and food.
Can’t say, I booked a table and the restaurant was closed
I had to go to the next door restaurant
We have been here several times. The food is always awesome and the service is great.
Venetian room. We had a very nice time. The food was excellent, the service was wonderful and the owners were very accommodating. Thank you for a great first experience.
Expected a lot more than what was delivered. Server acted like she didn’t want to be there. Was told they were out of a certain pasta. Ordered a panini only to be told 10 minutes later that they didn’t have bread and were making it and so it wouldn’t be ready in time. If you are going to compete with Louie Bossi, that is literally steps away, you need to be too notch, this place is not. Walk the fee steps down the road to Louie Bossi.
Love this place but this was an “off” night for them. Server was stretched thin (wasn’t very attentive because he was working in the other room) and my chicken piccata was hard as a rock. Hopefully this was just a blip because this place has great potential if they focus on the customer!!
We had a great time for my wife birthday. Anthony was the best server.
Food and service was ok at best. Decor leaves a lot to be desired.
Beautiful restaurant great ambiance and the food was great. Lobster ravioli was outstanding. The entrees were very good. Will definitely be going back.
Great food and service.
The Food was great! The dessert very Poor! And too noisy, de couldn’t have a conversation during all our dinner
Piano man and his music selection was excellent!
The people were too loud we wanted to hear the piano man better😄
We started out having a reservation for their new restaurant called ‘The Venetian’ which is attached to the original restaurant but the food selection was minimal and we moved into the other side. It took 20 minutes to get bread for the table. They have a nice menu but that’s where everything good stopped. Two of our dishes came out the the other 2 had to wait at least another 10 minutes but 1 was totally wrong and my wife didn’t like hers at all.
It was an excellent experience. our waiter was very helpful and new very question we have about the menu. would highly recommend.
Great ambiance and food. Excellent service!
Good location; friendly service; very good appetizers and the meat and cheese board is incredible
The steak was over cooked my sons steak looked like tongue rather than ribeye. One of my guest asked for a pasta with the white sauce and got a red sauce pasta and was told that, that’s what she ordered( She always orders white sauce). Also the food presentation could have been better for the type of restaurant it was.
Pretty restaurant. Service was friendly. Food was ok, but not worth returning to. There are so many great Italian restaurants in Ft. Lauderdale, that this one can be left for the tourists.
What a prize of a restaurant ! The food was exquisite. It is a welcoming and beautiful atmosphere. Our server, Patrick, had a complete knowledge of the daily dishes and made fine recommendations from the wine through dessert. He was most attentive and pleasant. Hats off to Frank for a job very well done, as this is truly a culinary experience not to be missed...it will have you coming back over and over again !
We ate at the bar and have a great service and great food. Pizza and meatballs were outstanding. The highlight had to be the LED screen on the ceiling with the changes every 15 minutes or so.
Delicious! We loved the happy hour specials. The meatballs were amazing!
The food and service are awesome! One of the best Italian food restaurants in fort lauderdale.
This is authentic Italian food at its best.
The place is just OK, I expected much more. The only thing I really enjoyed was the octopus appetizer. The waiter was too much on us and I felt rushed through my whole experience. I purchased a bottle of wine and I would have purchased another but I couldn't be their any longer. The place was empty so I don't understand the hurry.
Salmon and asparagus was the best of three entrees. Pasta and shrimp- pasta was gummy, fresh??? Grilled romaine salad was good but the order was for shrimp - we had to wait as chicken was prepared instrad. There were only three other tables so it's not as if there was a huge crush of orders. Wanted the profiteroles for dessert and they were"out". Best was the service. We are locals and at least we tried to patronize a new restaurant but won't be back.
Went for their boozy brunch and we were the only people there from 11:00am til about 1:00 so dont think they were going to get much of a crowd. It was raining but was kind of weird to be the only people eating in the entire place for almost 2 hours. But they did have bottomless mimosas and bellinis...I would of preferred Bloody Mary's but I settled for bellinis that were pretty good. They have an "omelet station" that Ordered which was pretty small and disappointing in looks but it wasnt bad tasting....service was ok but we were the waiters only table so I'll leave that there. Probably wont be back as we usually go to a neighbor of theirs for brunch but wanted to try a new place. Was not impressed but not totally dissappointed either. Hope they make it? Place is decorated really nice and a great location.
Enjoyed the live music!
Food was great, server was very attentive.
Gorgeous restaurant. The staff was outstanding and interactive! I would definitely come back and recommend this place to others.
Food was ok,
Piazza Italia was mediocre at best. The hostess was not accommodating nor was the service. Price wise; outrageous for what was served. Do not waste your time or money!
