We have been coming to Gavi and then Piazza Gavi for over 30 years. This was one of the best experiences that we have had since the Broadway location closed due to our waiter Manny. The food is always exceptional but we have found the service to be off most times. Not this time. Manny was so on top of what we needed and made our night over the top great. We had the spicy garlic shrimp appetizer, spaghetti Bolognese and pork carnevale for our dinners. I had the St. Francis zinfandel. Dessert was the 5 layer chocolate cake. The bill was beyond reasonable. We will return, but we will ask to have Manny as our waiter.

From start to finish our evening was perfect! Christian was our server and was attentive, informative and has a good sense of humor without hovering! The food did not disappoint. Many delicious choices, Lobster ravioli, Lasagna, Scallop & Shrimp Serenata we all had a favorite to enjoy. We were celebrating the 40th wedding anniversary of my sister and her husband and the evening was delightful. My husband and I will be looking forward to our next dining experience at Piazza Gavi ! Enjoy!

I am italian and come from a family of great cooks. I have also owned two restaurants. Gabby is my favorite italian restaurant in arizona. If you go there ask for john he is possibly the best waiter in town. The portions are tremendous and the quality of the food is unsurpassed. I bring my family there.

We keep coming back to GAVI!!!! Justin outdid himself in terms of great service & suggestions. We both had entrees that we'd not had previously--chicken parm & chicken fra diavolo. They were both delicious and there was enough to take home for another meal (as usual for P Gavi). I had enjoyed the limoncello dessert a few weeks ago, but asked for a bit of a change-up this time. Chefs came through once again. I love that they are willing to do that, as some restaurants we've been to are not. Piazza Gavi is still our favorite restaurant!

Since 1992, we always stop at Gavi’s every time we are in Tucson. They never disappoint us. Great service, awesome food.

Our server was just terrible. I usually tip 25-30% for decent or good service, be he didn't get a dime over 15%, which is really saying something. The server barely gave us any service. He didnt come to our table unless we waved and flagged him down. He was simply not interested in being attentive in any way. When we got our entrees, we had no silverware and had to ask twice for that as well, as our food got cold. I used to love Gavis's It is slipping, unfortunately.
