We were visiting Tucson and unsure where to eat. Stumbled in Piazza Gavi from goggle maps. Gave it a try. We were not disappointed. Our server, Manuel Z, took excellent care of us. Offered some suggestions and made sure we knew the orders were shareable. He was not wrong with that. We each tried something new. Since we were traveling, we couldn’t take it with us, but could have easily each had two more servings. We were treated with an outstanding Tiramasu. If we are ever back in Tucson, we will be sure to eat there again.

The food was outstanding. We went there for our 46th anniversary. However, our waiter was grumpy, never smiled, and was abrupt in our service. Very disappointing as we have been here before with very good service. Just the waiter with a bad attitude ruined our anniversary dinner.

We ordered a dinner salad and the meat lasagna. Everything was delicious! The only disappointment was they no longer serve Michelob Ultra or Bud Light.

When we’re in town at our scrapbooking event at Loews Vantana Canyon, we always stop at Piazza Gavi for dinner. It is amazingly tasty. Service is good. The food is wonderful and it’s such large portions. We sometimes have to share because there’s no microwaves in the room.. The lasagna is excellent, but I have never had something bad at the restaurant. It’s always been top-notch and so very tasty. Always thankful I get to come back.

Unfortunately, our birthday dinner was marred by everyone receiving their meal except the birthday person we were celebrating. Her meal didn’t arrive until the rest of us (we started while it was still hot), we’re almost entirely finished. The goof-up was acknowledged by the wait staff, but her meal wasn’t removed from the final bill. Disappointing evening.

Old school Italian. Delicious and grandly proportioned. Their wine prices are very reasonable as is the menu. We return often.

The food was wonderful, and we had really great service. It was unexpectedly busy the night we went. The inside was packed and a bit loud. We would have chosen to sit on the patio anyway, but it definitely was quieter outside. We are looking forward to our next visit.
