Just a wonderful experience! Wonder food; wine and fantastic server. Cannot wait to come back.
Had the Ravioli which are not home made. They were good, but not great. Food is way over priced for AZ.
I’ve enjoyed Gavi’s food for over 20 years and not 1 disappointment.
Our table was near the kitchen so it was a little noisy but overall the food, service and value was great!
Everything was outstanding from the service to the food to the ambience as a server in the industry I was very very impressed with everything thank you so much as far as a manager Flavia she was very very helpful as I was decorating for my mom’s 70th birthday.
We wanted to have an evening with friends and quiet conversation. The room noise was much too loud for this to happen. The food was good but the problem was the main course arrived 5 minutes after the appetizers, and we hadn’t even had time to consume half of them. The meal was over much too quickly and with the room noise, it was disappointing we couldn’t talk. Good Value if you want a quick meal and not fussy about having a conversation
We celebrated 2 birthdays. The food as always was outstanding, the service was excellent, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone
Excellent time. Very busy, but they found us a table outside. Heaters kept us warm. Excellent service.
As per usual everything was perfect, the food and the wine was to die for.
Our group are friends of almost 40 years who met while working at a local hospital. We have continued to meet up frequently at different venues, and Piazza Gavi was one of our best. Thank you for making this luncheon so nice.
It took our server three tries to get my beer order correct. Then, she brought my husband a glass of wine
when he ordered half a carafe. We were at a horrible table on the walkway just ahead of the cooking area. We could barely hear each other talk.
The food was great but the atmosphere was so chaotic that we ate quickly.
We went to Piazza Gavi to celebrate a couple birthdays and had a wonderful time. We sat on the patio which was nice and quiet. The food was amazing and the service was good. Would highly recommend it.
Everything was wonderful. Huge helpings and great service. Homemade tiramasu😗😗😗
Too much food! Order family style! One entry could feed 3-4 people.
Peter made our meal so enjoyable. He explained the menu items in detail and his service - and sense of humor - made for a very enjoyable evening. This was not our first meal at Piazza Gavi and we would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Truly outstanding food, ambiance and service.
Nice traditional Italian eatery.
Unfortunately - Not impressed. Service was subpar - busy Saturday night -waiter was frazzled and no sense of humor. Enormous portions of mediocre food. For the price it would be ideal if they downsized portion size and focused on quality of ingredients and flavor. It's crazy to me that they use boxed pasta instead of making their own. Spend a little more and go to Tavalino
The server we had seemed a little off that night but the food was great. The location is one where you think why don't we come here more it is definitely one of Tucson's little known gems.
Food was good but my Eggplant Parmesan had more sauce than I like, but delicious.
Great food! Great Staff! Only complaint is its a little loud sitting inside.
Piazza Gavi is a great experience. The good is outstanding and contains variety for everyone. The service, every time I’ve been there, has been friendly, fast, and great.
Food and service were excellent. Restaurant is noisy, but still worth it. A little on the pricey side. Especially the liquor. $8 for a rum and coke is a bit much. Overall I would recommend.
My party was disappointed that we did not know that happy hour was only at a certain area and not at the dinner tables. When I checked on line regarding HH times there should be that specific information included.
We've dined at Gavi 2 yrs in a row for Vday. I think we'll make it a tradition!
Do not miss the food- great experience
Really good place our favorite one to celebrate our anniversary every year...
Excellent food quality. Great service.
Noise level was extremely loud for those of us with hearing problems!
Reservation/seating process could be improved.
Very friendly and energetic. Service was excellent. Lasagna outstanding. My wife had seafood cioppo and raved that best ever. Noisy but we like that. I’ll be back
We enjoyed a delicious meal Tuesday evening. We now know why the parking lot is packed every day. The service, from hostess to wait staff, was top notch and most welcoming. The food was out of this world, the best sauce I can remember eating - wish I could duplicate it at home! Can't wait to go back.
Early Valentine’s Day with hubby. Decided to beat he mad rush in Valentine’s Day! Great food and service as always.
Great food. Waiter not very knowledgeable on wine. Patio was quieter than main dining room.
Food was excellent as was the service from both the server and hostess or manager.
The food was incredible and I mean incredible I’ll never go back to Olive Garden, and don’t get me started on the wine it was just perfect
Amazing place! Excellent food and service! I would go back in a heart beat and recommend this to everyone who hasn’t tried it
Always a good place to eat
The food is amazing!!! The service is outstanding!!! It was a very busy night and the noise level made it impossible to talk across the table.
Very nice meal..huge portions..3 of us had enough food for dinner a second night. Nice ambiance
Surprisingly quiet pre-Super Bowl afternoon (Sunday). We eat at Gavi a lot and generally enjoy our food, but my margarita pizza was so salty I felt the effects for 12 hours. I know that capers are salty, but this was over the top
Exquisite Italian food + seafood. Reasonable price. Generous portions. A bit crowded and noisy but not overwhelming. Quite covered patio with heat lamps. Well trained and personable waiter. A Tucson classic.
Excellent menu !!! Food was delicious. Service was impeccable!!!!
