Saturday: 5:00pm - 9:30pm
Sunday: 5:00pm –8:30pm
I hadn't been to Piatto in about a year, but my dad and I had such a great meal there on Fathers Day that we both resolved to starting going more frequently.
We had the stuffed shrimp and the chicken involitini and both were great. I had a delicious cocktail - a specialty mule.
Piattos is consistently a top choice with my friends, family and business acquaintances. The Owner Johnny Carrabba and his family are always there to ensure a perfect experience. His wait staff has in many cases been with him over 10 yrs and they know me by sight. The food is always top shelf and the service matches that. When seated at the bar, drinks are well poured(they don't skimp) and bar staff is very attentive to your needs. I do not hesitate to take anyone to Piattos--it is first class.
We really enjoyed our first time dinner here. It was great to see the owner. They provided wiki stix to entertain the kids. The food was delicious!
Went to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Everything was as expected. John has long term staff that has been with him since he opened 17 years ago. His expectations are well engrained in them. Goof food and great service make for a pleasant evening
Always great food and service at Puatto!!
It was good!
We always enjoy the great food and excellent service at Piatto's. Someone always makes their way over to the table during our meal to ask if everything is to our liking and if we need anything else. Keep up the great work.
This place is awesome!
The food was great! But the waiter made it a horrible experience, wanted to charge more! Wouldn’t go there again. So sad for a family restaurant when they hire waiters like this.
This restuarant is normally open for lunch Monday thru Friday but only for dinner on weekdays and weekends. They had a special Mother's Day brunch along with the regular menu. Fantastic. I started with Cozze dei Piatto, PEI mussels with white wine, garlic and herbs. Very good. Next I had a stuffed chicken which was excellent. My mother had the Penne Melanzane, served with olive oil, crushed tomatoes, garlic, and sautéed eggplant topped with ricotta cheese. All very good. This restuarant has been here for many years and you can tell it is run by family members. Worth going to in Houston.
We were there for Mother’s Day brunch. It was excellent. We are long-time fans of the Carrabba/Mandola restaurants but this has become our new favorite. It was comforting to see John Marion behind the bar and Mama watching over everything. The Eggs Benedict and the Eggs Carrabba were both prepared exactly to order and exactly as expected. Great experience. We’ll be back.
We were there for Mother's Day. Even though it was packed, the service did not suffer a bit. The special brunch menu was a real treat for my wife. She loves the Eggs Carabba. Two poached eggs served on veal with fresh fruit and potatoes. It made her Mother's Day.
The food was not good and not good value.
Hard to find , parking would be an issue for me . Cute ambiance . Food is good.
The food was excellent. We started with an assortment of appetizers. All the entrees were very good. The service was excellent.
We always enjoy our meals there. They are always so nice!
Always enjoy the food and service here. A bit crowded when we first arrived but less boisterous as people left and we could enjoy our conversation better. A lovely evening with good food and well-priced wine!
Great food and service!!
Overall the dining experience was good. Would return again. Very low key, nothing fancy but the service was very good and the food was perfect for a everyday dinner.
I have been going to Piatto's since the first week it opened. John has never disappointed me. One of the nicest thing about it is John or his mother are always around. It is truly a family run restaurant.
The fried asparagus with crab meat are a must. His home made Italian sausage is very good. The mini cannoli are a desert that can easily be shared.
Always a fabulous choice. The food is wonderful and the service superb.
We dined on a Saturday night. Easy to make reservations. Great service and the food was terrific. Asparagus with crab is now a favorite - Stuffed shrimp was a hit too!
Greeted at the door and later at our table by the owner John. Obvious he keeps a careful eye on things and is invested in operating an efficient and top class restaurant. We will recommend and will definitely return!
The consistency of high quality meals and service is the hallmark of Piatto's. Never disappointed going there...and I go often!
This place was practically empty at 8pm on a Wednesday evening and for good reason: the food was incredibly ordinary, full of salt and not fresh. I am a decent cook and my pasta is much better.
Convenient location in Galleria, with adequate self parking in the evening and a valet if desired. We enjoyed seafood entrees and a bottle of Chiante - reasonable selection.Private room was in use for a group of 12-15. Service was prompt. Unassuming "neighborhood" feel, a not too noisy, and well priced.
Very good food with reasonable prices. Will definitely return for dinner.
Made reservation for my God-son and his girlfriend for Valentines. The staff did amazing job making a wonderful evening for them. Heard rave reviews
Great food and great service - great place to get together with friends and visit while dinning.
Neither my husband or I thought our food was anything but ordinary
My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful meal. He had the rosemary chicken and said it was delicious. It was half a chicken-on the small side though. He also had the wedge salad and it was on a cold plate and a nice portion. I had the linguini pescatore with a lemon butter sauce instead of the spicy marinara. It had shrimp, small crab fingers, and muscles in it. The seafood was fresh and tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and had great service as well. Wine was resonably priced
Obviously a favorite with the locals as it was apparent that the wait staff knew many of the diners. Food was good; not great. Portions were very generous and we loved our waiter, Juan AKA "Squash".
A hidden gem. One of the best restaurants in the city. Really fabulous Italian fare..............but strangely enough..............the absolute best filet I have ever eaten. LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH!!!!!
Always good Italian food and great service. Convenient location. A must try.
Come here for pasta.
Salads are pretty basic ... not an organic produce ...
The food was really good especially the appetizers. One could make a meal just from the appetizers.
Disappointing experience at Piatto tonight. We’ve come to this restaurant for years, and have always had positives experiences. Unfortunately, this visit was not up to their usual standards. It was a busy night, and it was obvious the staff was running around to try and keep up with the high demands. We had about 3 different waiters, and it appeared they weren’t talking to each other. Our appetizer came out quickly, which was great, but our salads came with them (although they forgot 1 persons). It would have been nice to have the appetizer, and then the salad. Then we waited a very long time for our entrees....a very, very long time. So long that one waiter came over to acknowledge the long wait. When the food finally came out, my entree was all wrong. So I had to wait about 10 min for mine while everyone else ate theirs (I was not about to make them wait any longer). And it was obvious my entree was quickly thrown together, as it was not the usual presentation or taste. The waitstaff apologized for the mistake, but the manager never even came by to acknowledge it. We got coffee and a small dessert, and not that I’m looking for comped stuff, but it would have been the right thing to give us coffees or the kids ice cream on the house. But no...everything was listed on the bill, including my crappy $36 thrown together entree. Shame on you Piatto. You lost a long time customer tonight. Best of luck.
Great food and service
Little hard to get to with all the road construction
Worth the drive from the burbs
Very crowded and very very loud could have done without the music
Delicious as always! The gentleman busing the table was a little too quick to remove dishes -- generally a good thing, but on this occasion was irritating. He took away my sister's bread plate while she was waiting for more bread and then attempted to remove the bread bowl while there was still bread in it (stopped him on that one) and he got visibly upset with us for stopping him. The waiter was very attentive.
