Piatti - Seattle Ratings and Reviews
Good food and very friendly and helpful staff. Although we arrived in advance of our reservation time without the rest of our party, we were seated promptly. Though we were the last to leave, we were never rushed. Enjoyed multiple courses, portions not too large or too small. Good wine selection. Nice ambiance despite location in a mall. It was a special pleasure to be able to dine outside on a warm spring night. Have been there before (twice) and will go again.
Really enjoyed our dinners although the Butchers Meatballs needed more sauce on the pasta. The bruschetta and salami & cheese appetizers were wonderful! The new layout is noisier and more open so less intimate. Not as relaxing. But overall a great dining experience.
Very Gluten Sensitive friendly. I also have a dairy sensitivity than they were more than happy to accommodate. Since there is dairy in almost everything there the server worked with the chef to make me a wonderful meal that was free of dairy. We also had a great gluten free dairy free bread before. A great experience!
Amazing Risotto. A special for 'Seattle's Restaurant week'.
Being a vegetarian, this dish was fantastic, very tasty, and very fresh. I am hoping it becomes a menu regular. The vegetables were very fresh and were cooked just right. The soup was very tasty as well. Did justice for the price.
Loved it .
Our meal was fantastic! The biggest problem was that OpenTable sis not correctly gage how many seats were available. My party of 7 was not sat until 20 minutes after my reservation, because OpenTable thought that two 4 tops represented a single table for 8 people.
We had an 11:15 am reservation ... the Internet allowed us to make reservations at 11:15 despite your published start time of 11:30 am. We arrived early for our reservation and were the first people to be seated. We informed the waiter we had a 1 pm appointment and he assured us we would be done well before that. At least, three tables that arrived after us, received food before we did. We are not slow eaters. We waited for what seemed a long time between each service. Several tables finished and left before we did. We had to ask for our check and we left at 12:40.
Fortunately, our appointment was 15 mins away, but due to heavy traffic, we barely made it. The food was fine; the service was questionable. Thanks.
Piatti is a lovely place for lunch or dinner. We each had a pasta dish. My guest had the manicotti with a lot of cheese. I had a half portion of the butternut squad ravioli with a very generous portion of roasted hazel nuts. I would eagerly order this again.
The manager came to our table to apologize for having been unable to serve us because the electricity was out in January. Last evening was the second time we have been back since then and each time he has done so. Now that is first rate care of his clients
Great service from a caring team. From the wait staff to bus service to front house, everyone works together seamlessly to provide an exceptional experience. The food is excellent. It does run a tad strong depending on your taste and what you order but overall no complaints. The interior is lovely and the UVillage shopping complex is perfect in and of itself. Highly recommend you check this place out. Well worth a visit. Our meal for two ran just under 40 dollars.
Looked up online to have early dinner before U of Washington girls basketball game....great diversity of people & shopping in University village. Noted other clientele also going to game....service was friendly, thorough & quick. Very nice open atmosphere to dining, bar, kitchen. Very nice presentation of food. Would go again
My daughter and I went to Piatti's on Sunday, as it was the only place open for Brunch in the Village, and we have enjoyed other meals there. Nice that it opened at 10am, so we could eat early and then shop. It was very quiet, not crowded, but people eventually came in. The service was great, as was the food. We were surprised at the high prices though.
