Good place to go before a Husky game. Service was fast and food was good, although not outstanding.

Once again great service. We frequent this restaurant when we are in town and are always impressed by the service provided by the terrific staff. Hope to come back soon again.

The brunch is amazing. Our party loved the lemon ricotta doughnut holes, the lemon ricotta pancakes and the breakfast sandwiches! Plus the service for our party of 10 was excellent.

Our son is a freshman at UW. This is a great restaurant within walking distance of campus. I really enjoyed my grilled veggie sandwich. The arancini we're delicious...it's hard to find good ones at a restaurant.
Thanks for the birthday dessert. It, too, was delicious.

Piatti is surprisingly good for a restaurant in a mall ... actually worth going there just for dinner. I had the special risotto, which was fabulous. The on-tap wine selection is excellent and local. The friends I was with were very pleased with their selections — clams, and penne. And we all loved the dessert, although the chocolate mousse serving was way too small. It was about a tablespoon. The cheesecake was amazing.

I wouldn't say this is authentic Italian, but it is a wonderful American take on Italian food, and very well served.

We were a party of 7; 2 couples and 3 college age young women. Piatti was very busy on a Friday night. Service was quite good; especially as we spent more than 3 hours at dinner. All of the entrees and side dishes were excellent. Our party commented several times about the great tastes.

I would recommend Piatti (and will) to friends and family in the Seattle area. It was a very good experience.

Went to Piatti for Seattle Restaurant Week and had a fantastic meal! Generous portions and the food was super tasty. Our server was also friendly, attentive (but not overly) and the food arrived in a timely manner. Definitely exceeded our expectations.

I used to love Piatti - for the type of restaurant it was, I had some surprisingly good meals. Not so anymore. Their food is typical chain restaurant food. This time I had a chicken caesar, and the chicken was burned (had an acrid smell) and dry. Our server was similarly uninspired - only came to inquire about my meal when I was down to my last two leaves of lettuce. My dining companion had spilled some tomato and soft cheese on the table, but even though we had dessert, the server didn't wipe the table. Really just phoning it in. I'll go back, but only because it's convenient and easy to park. I used to actually go for the food!

Granddaughters' birthday celebration chosen to be a bit fancy. All the meals were up to standards. Even though it was Seattle Restaurant, week I chose the octopus appetizer (not one of the special menu choices) - not disappointed it was as good as it always is.

Met up with a friend and we both enjoyed the very reasonably priced lunch special. My compliments to the chef for being creative with roasted Brussel sprouts on a bed of butternut squash puree, topped with bacon and tomato jam! Amazing. The waiter was pleasant and unobtrusive. I'll be back.

Hadn't had lunch at Piatti in awhile and was disappointed to find the previously varied menu reduced to soup/salad/sandwich fare, everything a la carte (including bread, olive oil or butter, and milk for chai tea), and an enlarged bar occupying center stage. No surprise, prices had not been reduced in line with reductions in quality of the experience across the board.

The server was fine. We tipped him 20% for his pleasant manner and efficiency, not for the value of the meal.

Piatti had okay food. Wasn't something special, definitely not something I'd order again for that price. Service was pretty good, and overall, I enjoyed my experience there. I just wouldn't go back again, when there are hundreds of other Italian restaurants with a similar menu but better quality and better tasting food.

Piatti is one of our favorite places to dine. Parking is very easy in a nearby garage and it is free. The food is very good. If you dine outside and get cool, they provide soft blankets to wrap yourself with, a very nice touch. Sitting outside provides great people watching!

My husband's meal came when the rest of us were almost finished eating. The chef had to make it again for some reason. There were no toilet seat covers in the bathroom. A large party with noisy small children were seated next to us (4 adults) when there were plenty of other places they could have been placed. It was disruptive and not appreciated.

As usual Piatti was excellent. It was a warm summer evening, so we dined outdoors. Not only was that a great choice, but the people watching was good. If you are get chilly they provide warm, very soft blankets to put over your shoulders.

My review is perhaps a little unfair. We are visiting Seattle from Providence RI, a mecca for fine Italian cuisine. Piatti was recommended to us as providing "decent" Seattle area Italian food. Needless to say, the quality paled when compared to the cuisine we are accustomed to. I ordered the parpadelle in lamb ragu...my wife the salmon. I would have to agree with the person providing us the recommendation. The food was in fact decent, nothing more. No sense commenting further. Only complaint, at $14+ my wife's martini was way overpriced.

Piatti is conveniently located at U Village. They do moderately good Italian food. I would come here more often, except that the ambient noise is usually too high. My friend and I left when we could no longer hear the other person talk from across a 2-person table at 7 p.m. on a Friday night. If you're OK with that, it's a pretty good meal. Otherwise, it might be a better experience when it's less crowded.

Of all the times I've eaten there, this is by far the worst. The food was overcooked and tasteless; the waiters couldn't remember any details of the order; and the presentations were lackluster and uninviting. Despite the great location. we'll dine elsewhere.

Our server, Stuart was great. There was no salad on the menu for less than $10, which is a lot for lettuce. I wanted something to accompany my pizza but $10 is ridiculous. The food is good, not great. The prices are high for what you get. This is my second time there in the past few months and both times I left feeling ripped off. I won't be going back.

The food and ambiance were above average. The service was slow to start and not the best. There seems to be a disconnect between hostess and service staff as to whom is covering whom after a party is seated.

When a meal starts off confusing with service, it lingers throughout the meal.

We have eaten here several times before. Two of us had the special of the day, Vegetable Rissoto. It was excellent. Our additional group member had a soup and sandwich. She said that it too was good. Parking is good and there is adequate handicapped parking.

The menu covers a wide variet of options.
