Piatti - San Antonio
Food was undercooked but the management did not bill us. Secondly, the busser inadvertently slipped a slice of bread on the table and did not apologize or replace the plate. Perhaps one of those days. I prefer to go the Piatti at Eilan instead.
Dinner was excellent and our waiter was outstanding.
Love the whole experience
Had a great experience. Customer service is fantastic. The restaurant and music is too loud.
We have always enjoyed Piatti's and as a whole, it was a good experience. However, this is the second time we have taken my parents and for the second time in a row, my mom's meal was forgotten. They comp'd it which was the right thing to do, considering it came out a good 10 minutes after we all had our food. However, all the food was good; nice and hot and very enjoyable. I would just like to see my mom get her meal with the rest of us next time.
The pork chop is to die for!!! This is one of my husband and I favorite places!
Having dined here several times over the past few years, Piatti has been consistent and worth the trip. The menu is varied and wine choices, while not many, are budget friendly. Staff are generally attentive and accommadating. However, not all rooms are comfortable, and in particular, the small back room can get very room or have excessive sun glare towards sunset. The restaurant does not appear to care how uncomfortable having direct sunlight in one's face can be. The outside awning is too small and simple blinds would be an inexpensive fix.
I have always enjoyed coming here. Excellent food and service.
Piatti is a great spot for a date night. My husband and I love meeting here after work for a nice meal. The service was exceptional. We were given great suggestions on food and drink.
We had a late lunch on Mother's Day .
Patti's is my wife's favorite restaurant and we were not disappointed.
My granddaughter has a special diet and they accommodated her 100%.
We had a wonderful time!
Mother's Day was great! Our waitress was very nice
Thank you Ron for your service and hospitality, job well done
Very nice place, food & service was outstanding! Would recommend and go back again. Anxious to try the location closer to home.
Our favorite restaurant!
Great service and great food. It was an awesome time. The restaurant was packed and the noise level was pretty high. Overall a great experience.
Awesome meal, great service and awesome ambience. My trout was the best I’ve ever had.
Our meal started off great. We had a nice booth and loved the bread and the mussels appetizer. All of our food was delicious. The problem was our waiter. Though he was friendly, he spent all of his time socializing with his coworkers, right within our sight line, and neglected us for the entire second half of our visit. Other service people cleared our plates. We wanted to order coffee, but he took so long and we sat with our card on the table for so long, we decided to skip it and go elsewhere. Disappointing end to our visit.
Food is average and the noise is unbearable.
Piatti’s is my go to place for business lunches. They never disappoint.
It costs way more than it should. If you don’t have sweet red wine, you’re not an Italian restaurant. I ordered a Ribeye well done and got a mystery steak rare and cold. It was the recommended “special”, and I’m sure that was for a reason. They were trying to get rid of them.
Food was good as it usually is, just really disappointed in the service. We sat outside on a beautiful day for lunch. Not sure if they were short staffed or just busy. Food took forever to come out and then took forever for the check. Will be back, hoping service issue was a fluke.
Good food, limited menu and the wine list is very short!
Our first visit and we were celebrating our anniversary. We were treated to champagne and dessert. Plus, the service and food was awesome l!
The restaurant was very accommodating and moved up our reservation by an hour. The staff seem very pleasant and willing to help. The layout was nicely done. We sat outside on the patio and always seem to be attended to and not forgotten. The food on the other had was a 1 out of 5. The appetizer was a pizza with reduced balsamic on it that tasted more like desert than a gourmet pizza. My daughter had the slow roster prime rib and it turned out good but slightly over cooked. My wife had the zucchini pasta and chicken and it lacked flavor and depth. I had the Cipriani and it has horrible. The seafood was over cooked and one of the muscles clearly was dead because it was not open. I will not be returning and can not recommend this restaurant.
Food was very good, service a little slow but it was a very busy day. We will definitely dine there again.
Great food and love the location. Indoor\outdoor seating.
Carlos was very attentive and friendly. Great service and food.
Too noisy at lunch time. Will not return.
I’ve been to Piatti more times than I can count. It is a favorite go to for brunch, lunch and dinner. We went for lunch on Sunday. We were pleased to get a table
Outside. We waited for a while before being greeted by our waiter, Armando. Two other tables were seated and had water before we did. I asked about the soup of the day and was told “chicken broth with bell peppers”. I asked him to make sure, and it was a very different soup than his description.
We had to ask for several things multiple times and the waiter was in outer space, even water. He would disappear and we were having to ask the buser and other servers for help. There’s more to the story but I will stop there.
Pretty good food, I had the pizza, my wife had a cannelloni stuffed with crab and lobster which was excellent (I had the leftovers for lunch today)
Great enjoyed it
The restaurant was already very busy & loud when we arrived at 5:30. We were very happy to be seated in the back room which was quieter. But ... once all the tables were filled, our party could hardly hear each other. I love the food at Piatti's. Disappointingly, this time, two of us ordered the gnocchi which was salty & spicier than typical.
Amazing dinner. Loved the small pasta plate with broccoli rabb on the side. Great service.
Emily is great! Such an awesome staff!
Great food and service. Had the sweet potato crusted trout and it was delicious
Wonderful food, loud, but fun, atmosphere.
We had a family reunion, all older than 65, and we had a delightful time. Meals were great, service/server (I think Daniel) was very attentive and with only a couple exceptions, our conversations were OK for all in the party... a couple times other tables were a bit loud, but only for a few seconds. So, overall, a delightful place to enjoy a very good meal. We all appreciated the opportunity to get the lunch size portions.
We sat on the patio for lunch. Our server was friendly and checked on us the perfect amount of times. Breaded chicken with Dijon sauce.... AMAZING. First visit, will definitely be back.
Our server was Justin, and he couldn’t have been more attentive. He took time to explain the menu and adjusted his pace to ours which was more leisurely than those tables around us. For me, dining out is an experience to be savored, not rushed through. Even though we were attending another function that evening, we felt attended to without feeling rushed. Well done!
Excellent meal. I had the daily special of flounder and spinach. Great service.
