Piatti - San Antonio
Birthday dinner for my son. Party of 10. The waitress was attentive and easy going. There was a party nearby so it was a bit noisy but all in all, we had a great time.
Great service, and great food as always! Our waiter was very helpful and it was probably the best service we've ever had at Piatti's! Highly recommend the watermelon salad!
The side Mista salad is not worth the money as all you receive is a plate of greens. For $5 it should be a smaller version of the full salad with all of the veggies. Other than that, the food was good. The House-Made Spinach & Ricotta Ravioli is always a favorite and my mom liked the Cannelloni although she said there wasn't much lobster.
I love this place. My family and I always receive great service and enjoy the food.
Server was on point. Food and cocktails were awesome
The noise level is deafening. We could not talk to each other. Service was slow.
Food was excellent. Had a small issue at the beginning of the meal but it was resolved quickly. Will definitely be coming back.
Service was great but food was just OK. Was happy they had gluten-free options but the bolognese was kind of unusual and just ok. My daughter thought the ravioli she got was ok. Creme brule was not good at all but daughter loved the chocolate lava cake.
Nothing special. We eat there often. Food and service were great.
Piatti at the Quarry never disappoints!!
We love the food at Piatti. The service is always great, too.
Fabulous food and service, although the place was packed, was superb.
Cocktail menu should be revised and expanded. It’s a bit strange. Full bar is great though. Best bread in SA. Lovely menu of main courses.
We chose Piatti for a special occasion withouthaving been there before. Your reviews were very good and we expected to be very pleased with our selection. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. Our service person, Armando, could not have been better. Attentive, very polite, helpful - he was very excellent. The appetizer of crab cakes was good. However, our meal was very slow in arriving, apparentl;y due to a kitchen backup. (We did not notice the restaurant being extremely busy.) Our pasta was undercooked; we ordered a side of asperagus - it arrived so late as to be not really a part of the meal itself. We wound up taking it home untouched to be used at a later time. The flavor of our meals was okay, but did not meet the level of excellence we were expecting from what we felt was going to be a first-class dining experience. We may try Piatti again to see whether this was a one-time event. If we find the level of quality the same, we likely will not be back. It is all right for a thirty- to forty-dollar meal, but did rise to the level of a sixty-to-seventy dollar meal.
It’s always amazing here. Always wonderful service outstanding food and drinks. The menu additions each time keeps it fresh and never boring. Thanks!!
Good service, food was hot and fresh.
Great service with some amazing pesto pasta
Had a great Father's Day with my 90 year old dad and his wife there. Made reservations online. Just like you can't pick your neighbors, you can't pick whom you want to sit next to. We sat next to a LARGE group with some children that were obviously not taught how to act at a table. Not Piatti's fault so I'm not dinging them for that!
The food was amazing. Wish they served sweet tea. The service was great
Nice booth for four. Very noisy on Friday at 7:45 – – like attending a sports event. Food generally good but the Caesar salad was a first time big disappointment. They used primarily the stock part of the Romain and no leafyness at all. It was entirely white no Green at all. I almost sent it back but did not want to make a scene with my group.
Table was ready , no waiting and service was great
This was my first meal at Piatti, it was wonderful. The waiter was excellent the food was tasty and the atmosphere was pleasant. Additionally, my date ordered a wine that she like and i could not remember the name. I email the restaurant and they went above and beyond to get me the name of the wine. I will be going back to your restaurant.
Great food, good service, good wine list, incredibly loud.
The service and food are always perfect.
Fantastic the waiter was wonderful the food was great and the expensive bottle of wine was fabulous
Consistently great since my first visit in 2000. Lunch and dinner any day of the week. Always great.
Excellent food & superior service, definitely one of the best in San Antonio
This was my first time in the restaurant in over two years. Noise level was higher than I remembered. For my entrée I had the sirloin kebab. If you had blindfolded me I would not of been able to tell a difference between the steak, the pasta and the veggies. They all tasted the same.
Food was OK
Pricey, for linch
Our server, Robert was very nice and attentive. Service was great and my strawberry & goat cheese salad was delicious. Everyone is always friendly. Thank you!
Ability to make a reservation was great. Our waitress was friendly, professional and well informed. The one issues we experienced was the noise level. We were a group of seniors, some with hearing issues and
at times we had difficulty hearing one another.
The service, or lack there of, ruined the experience for us. We waited over an hour for our entrées. My husband had to track down the hostess to try to find out what the problem was. When the waiter finally brought the food, my husband asked if it usually took this long to get a meal. Instead of an apology, he got a sarcastic “YES.” We were pretty taken aback by that. The manager did come over to apologize but by then we were pretty disappointed since San Antonio has such a wealth of good restaurants to chose from. The restaurant comped desserts for our party of four but I wanted a nice dinner, not a free dessert. My recommendation would be to try someplace else.
My girlfriend and I went to Piatti for lunch several days before we went for dinner. When we had lunch there, we loved everything - the food, the service, the wine list, you name it. When we came back for dinner, we were sorely disappointed in our service. Let me preface this by saying that both of us are or have been servers, and are acutely aware of how service staff usually get treated. We always give our utmost respect and politeness to service staff wherever we are. When our server brought the bottle of wine we had ordered, the glasses he brought were wet, which isn't a big deal, but they had fuzz all over the inside of them from the linen he attempted to use to dry them. I don't know about you, but I don't want fuzz floating in the wine I just paid $40 for. Now, I don't expect anyone to read my mind, so I politely told our server that our glasses had fuzz in them and we'd like some new ones when he had a chance. Instead of taking the glasses and getting some new ones, he told us "They're clean. They were just washed. The fuzz is just from the linen." seemingly dismissing that we wanted new glasses. After I didn't say anything he said "clearly you don't want these glasses" with a sigh and walked away. I don't know if he was just having a bad day, or didn't think we were going to tip because we are young, but he gave us this same attitude for the rest of the night which isn't excusable. It's disappointing because we were very excited to try the dinner menu, but I'm not sure we'll be returning for dinner.
Food was undercooked but the management did not bill us. Secondly, the busser inadvertently slipped a slice of bread on the table and did not apologize or replace the plate. Perhaps one of those days. I prefer to go the Piatti at Eilan instead.
Food was wonderful, but the service was slow. It was Saturday of the Memorial Day Weekend and that probably had something to do with the service.
Waiter had too many tables. Took 50 mins to get food. 15 mins for a glass of wine.
Awful. Food average.
iT WAS GOOD, BUT NOT AS GOOD AS EXPECTED OR AS IN THE PAST.
Dinner was excellent and our waiter was outstanding.
Love the whole experience
