My wife and I had a very nice diner. Food and service were good.
Place was not very crowded - we waited a LONG time for our food and the asparagus we ordered for the table was brought a while after our dinner - and was cold. With prices like that one expects a certain level of service and food execution and this visit did not live up to expectations
The food was great. The atmosphere on the patio was tranquil and relaxing. Our wait crew was very responsive and attentive.
Love this restaurant. We always go on the way to Tahoe. The kids get dough to play with and the service is exceptional. Food is consistently great! A must visit!
Very nice lunch with a friend. I enjoyed the beet and arugula salad with faro. I added salmon which was cooked just right, not dry as you sometimes get.
Lunch with friends
Mediocre food overpriced for lunch. Mediocre service and stinky restaurant with sticky floors.
Excellent food and service. Comfortable ambiance. Good wines and cocktails too. My relatives and my friends always enjoy this place. It is dependably excellent.
Gnocchi appetizer, chopped salad, trout special, butterscotch dessert, service all very good. Noise level better than the typical large, open dining room.
Nice place. We will be back. My friend had the linguine with clams, and I had the Pork Chop. Both super good. We also had calamari and a wonderful Italian chop salad to start. We enjoyed a recommended bottle of Chianti and it too was super!
Service was friendly and fun. People watch exceptional!
A lovely lunch time dining experience. Good selection, fresh ingredients. Marinera is a touch sweet, but the papardelle was brilliant.
Arrived early, restaurant was very accommodating. Appetizers and Dinner was wonderful, not to keen the the version of calamari but over all everything was good. Wait staff was exceptional, definitely would visit again.
Really great service, awesome wine selection, and the food was very high quality! I ordered the special (prosciutto-wrapped baked trout over creamy polenta and veggies) SO amazing! Highly recommend this for a nice dinner out
The service was extraordinary! It was a birthday, and the menu was specially printed with happy birthday.
One request would be more gluten free options or a designation of GF on the menu.
We had a wonderful time and would definitely return.
The menu was lacking, the service was mediocre, the chairs were so uncomfortable, and the bar noise was loud in the restaurant area.
The service was good. Clean, airy contemporary and a full bar. The peanut butter and chocolate bread pudding was really good. The fried calamari was also very good. Service, setting, desserts, appetizers and drinks two thumbs up.
The actual meal was disappointing. The ravioli was a huge disappointment, the edges were dry and chewy and the overall dish arrived lukewarm. The chicken was lukewarm, greasy and bland. Can't comment on the salmon. Maybe we came at the wrong day and time and got the wrong chef/cook, the person who actually prepared the food or maybe the food sat out to long which speaks to other problems.
For what we spent on the lunch entrees $70 we could have got some ribeye and lobster tails from Costco and had a great meal at home, but alas we didn't have that option that day so we were stuck having to find a decent place to eat. At least 50% of the experience was worth it, oh well.
I have not been there in a year or two. I was pleasently surprised with the quality of the food and wait staff. The wine choices by the glass were not innovative but good quality and matched my food well. I will definitely be back!!
Won’t return. We were hoping for exceptional pizza and it came in below par. Disappointing especially for my boyfriends birthday.
Excellent dinner, surprised no points credited
Our waiter, Ralph, was fantastic! Food was beyond excellent! We will be back!
I am looking for a place for my daughter’s Bridal Shower so we came to try the food and see the place. I was very impressed with everything!
I hope this place hasn’t slipped. Most of the food was a rung lower than previous visits.
We love Piatti's. Good food at a reasonable price. Not the latest, greatest and out-there food, but absolutely reliably good and a wonderful experience.
Lovely restaurant. Been here a long time but is not tired. Good menu. Great Caesar made with kale and romaine. The carpaccio was perfect. My husband got the chicken.
2 of 3 orders were wrong and we waited forever for the correction. My friends had their backs to the waiters who were standing around chatting with each other. There was no sense of urgency in correcting the order. Our server was just laid back. Finally... then I had to signal the waiter for more water. When the waiter took my order he didn't ask if I wanted the lunch size or dinner size serving. He brought me the dinner size. I was being treated for lunch and felt embarrassed when the larger size order arrived. I felt like I was taking advantage of my friend's generosity. Both friends commented on my order size more than once. I chose Piatti's. I've never had bad service before.
A fine dining experience; the only negative issue could be the dessert selection and he last 2 x we have dined there, the dessert have been less than the rest of the experience.
Excellent food (the soup of the day was amazing!), outstanding service (Isaac), great deal on wine (extensive list of half-off specials for January), lovely evening overall.
Food and service was fantastic
Despite the fact that it was a very busy night because of a prix fixe special, our server was very attentive and efficient. The food was very good. I had a Caesar salad and the meatball appetizer and was very happy with both. I was very impressed with both the food and service on a very busy evening.
Excellent food and surroundings
Service was slow, but waitress was friendly. Food was okay. Restaurant was cold inside.
Three couples had an event in the neighborhood so decided to eat here as we have done before. Service is always especially good.
We Celebrated Friends Birthday... It was their first time at Restaurant... We enjoyed our meals.. Brandon took good care of us.... We had Pizza, Chicken and Short Rib.... Looking forward to our next visit.......
We’re never disappointed! Wonderful, fresh, flavorful cuisine.
The specials we're amazing for the evening! From the Mussels to the New York.... Neighborhood Gem.... We always leave with a smile on our face from the service they provide to the meals the Kitchen prepare.......
Great place for New Year's Eve. Varied menu, food was excellent, servers were very attentive. One small complaint. We were seated at a table very close other diners, even though their were empty tables available that would have been more private.
Did not get table as requested. Placed in a table that plates had to be moved around constantly
Food overpriced. Chicken was over salted. Steak was good. Noise level is such that you can hardly hear your dinner partner talk, but could hear others talk. Also why charge for refills, with such high prices.
For 1 appetizer, 1 pizza, 2 soda’s and 2 gelato’s the price for lunch was $65 and not worth it.
We were seated at a tiny table at the far corner. My elbow kept hitting the wall and we felt cramped. We ordered calamari for an appetizer and were surprised (not in a good way) to find it had many vegetables (cauliflower, sweet potato etc. like you would expect for vegetable tempura only made with semolina flour)… it tasted awful.
We shared a sausage pizza and it was greasy, very thin crust and tasted awful.
The gelato was ok.
My husband is Italian and as an Italian restaurant it 'fell below our expatiations.
Isaac our wait person was very attentive and helpful! Delicious meal!
